Although some numerical methods of the fractional-order chaotic systems have been announced,high-precision numerical methods have always been the direction that researchers strive to pursue.Based on this problem,this paper introduces a high-precision numerical approach.Some complex dynamic behavior of fractional-order Lorenz chaotic systems are shown by using the present method.We observe some novel dynamic behavior in numerical experiments which are unlike any that have been previously discovered in numerical experiments or theoretical studies.We investigate the influence of α_(1),α_(2),α_(3) on the numerical solution of fractional-order Lorenz chaotic systems.The simulation results of integer order are in good agreement with those of othermethods.The simulation results of numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the present method. 展开更多

The bulk modulus is calculated directly from its physical definition of the ratio of the internal pressure/stress to the volume strain. Under various conditions, the bulk moduli obtained agree with the previous theoretical derivations from completely different approaches. It is found that the bulk moduli of2D Yukawa solids and liquids are almost independent of the system temperature and the external compressional frequency. 展开更多

A parallel arithmetic program for the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation study of a large sized system consisting of 50 000100 000 atoms of liquid metals is reformed, based on the cascade arithmetic program used for the molecular dynamics simulation study of a small sized system consisting of 5001 000 atoms. The program is used to simulate the rapid solidification processes of liquid metal Al system. Some new results, such as larger clusters composed of more than 36 smaller clusters (icosahedra or defect icosahedra) obtained in the system of 50 000 atoms, however, the larger clusters can not be seen in the small sized system of 5001 000 atoms. On the other hand, the results from this simulation study would be more closed to the real situation of the system under consideration because the influence of boundary conditions is decreased remarkably. It can be expected that from the parallel algorithm combined with the higher performance super computer, the total number of atoms in simulation system can be enlarged again up to tens, even hundreds times in the near future. 展开更多

In recent years, a large number of high voltage direct current(HVDC) transmission projects have been connected to AC systems. This has started to have an impact on AC/DC hybrid power grids, particularly receiving terminal power grids. An HVDC system is a large-scale power electronic integrated nonlinear system, and it includes a primary system and a control and protection system. Hence, the precision and degree of detail of HVDC systems directly affect the actual effect of simulation. In recent years, in the case of the normal operation and failure of AC power grids, the abnormal fluctuation and even locking of HVDC systems caused by the inappropriate strategies of the control and protection system component have strongly affected power grids. This has significantly affected the safety and stability of receiving power grids and normal operation. In this study, the actual engineering HVDC control logic provided by a manufacturer is analyzed and simulated based on the user defined component library of the ADPSS electromagnetic transient calculation program, and an HVDC control model based on an actual system is established. The accuracy of the DC control custom model based on ADPSS is verified through the simulation of an actual power grid. 展开更多

A large scale fluid network was modeled by standard procedures, and a network was expressed with characteristic matrix and boundary condition matrix. By simple operation of matrix, the dynamic characteristics of a large scale fluid network was simulated in frequency domain. A generalized ionospheric dispersion simulation method is presented to verify and test wideband satellite-ground-link radio systems for dispersion robustness. In the method, ionospheric dispersive effects on wideband radio waves are modeled as an allpass nonlinear phase system, thus greatly decreasing the need for signal priori information. To accurately simulate the ionospheric dis- persion and reduce the implementation complexity, the system is decomposed into three new allpass subsystems: with a linear phase passing through zero frequency, a constant phase, and a nonlinear phase with zero-offset and quasi-parabolic form respectively. The three subsystems are implemented respectively by the combination of integer-interval delay and fractional delay filter, digital shifting phase and the complex-coefficient finite impulse response ( FIR ) filter. The ionospheric dispersion simulation can be achieved by cascading the three subsystems in a complex baseband and converting the frequency to a radio frequency. Simulation results show that the method has the ability to accu- rately simulate the ionospheric dispersion characteristics without knowing the signal priori informa- tion and has a low implementation complexity. 展开更多

This paper analyzes the basic structures and elements of a maintenance system for complex multi-components equipment. The maintenance system is considered as a dynamic system whose behavior is influenced by its structure's feedback and interaction, and the system's available resources. Building the dynamical model with Simulink, we show some results about the maintenance system's nonlinear dynamics, ods. The model can be used for understanding and which operational adjustments of maintenance which are never given by stochastic process methdetermining maintenance system behavior, towards n of maintenance requirements and timely supply of maintenance resources can be made in a more informed way. 展开更多

This paper provides a clarification of the advanced solution for the mission of complexity in science, which was previously published in 2015;but the new solution is too difficult to scientists;for this, this paper describes the academic reasoning and the relevant scientific background behind solution. Moreover, it shows that the solution can be simulated the complex systems by the computer program MATLAB Simulink or an analog-type simulator under virtual circumstances. Thus, this paper verifies that the new solution has validity and superiority;additionally, it must replace the established older chaos theory with the advanced solution in future, so that this new solution is disadvantageous to many chaos physicists and the famous organization SFI, and others. High temperature annealing is often used for the stress control of optical materials.However,weight and viscosity at high temperature may destroy the surface morphology,especially for the large-scale,thin and heavy optics used for large laser facilities.It is necessary to understand the thermal behaviour and design proper support systems for large-scale optics at high temperature.In this work,three support systems for fused silica optics are designed and simulated with the finite element method.After the analysis of the thermal behaviours of different support systems,some advantages and disadvantages can be revealed.The results show that the support with the optical surface vertical is optimal because both pollution and deformation of optics could be well controlled during annealing at high temperature.Annealing process of the optics irradiated by CO2 laser is also simulated.It can be concluded that high temperature annealing can effectively reduce the residual stress.However,the effects of annealing on surface morphology of the optics are complex.Annealing creep is closely related to the residual stress and strain distribution.In the region with large residual stress,the creep is too large and probably increases the deformation gradient which may affect the laser beam propagation. 展开更多

Based on the theory of complex adaptive system(CAS),the optimal allocation model of water resources in sewage irrigation areas was established,which provided new ideas and application value for the rational utilization of agricultural production and waste water resources.The results demonstrated that the difference of crop energy capture mainly depended on the development stage.Waste water with a certain concentration was able to promote crop growth,while excessive concentration inhibited crop growth.The correlation between water absorption rate and leaf area index was close(R=0.9498,p<0.01).The amount of bad seeds increased at a speed of 34.7·d^-1,when system irrigated randomly in the seedling stage,while it tended to remain stable at a speed of 0.3·d^-1 after plants entering the mature stage which impacted the total yields of crops. 展开更多

This paper proposes a resampling simulator that will calculate probabilities of detecting invasive species infesting hosts that occur in large numbers. Different methods were examined to determine the bias of observed cumulative distribution functions (c.d.f.s), generated from prototype resampling simulators. One involved seeing if they matched theoretical c.d.f.s, which were generated using formulae for calculating the probability of the union of many events (union formulae), which are known to be correct. Others involved assessing the bias of observed c.d.f.s, generated from using prototype resampling simulators operating on much larger simulated populations, when computation of theoretical c.d.f.s from the union formulae was not practical. Examples are given for using the proposed resampling simulator for detecting an invasive insect pest within the context of an invasive species management system. 展开更多
