The new concept of visual image space is supposed. On the basis of visual image space, in visual perceptive sense, VR is considered as a spatial simulation. The objective of the spatial simulation is to transform physical space to visual image space. Last, the prototype system, surveying & mapping virtual Reality (SMVR), is developed, and the space simulation above is realized. In order to investigate the effect of space environmental factors on spacecraft materials, a ground-based simulation facility for space atomic oxygen(AO) irradiation was developed in our laboratory. Some Kapton film samples were subjected to AO beam generated by this facility. The Kapton films before and after AO exposure were analyzed comparatively using optical microscopy, scanning electronic microscopy, atomic force microscopy, high-precision microbalance, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that the transmittance of Kapton film will be reduced by AO irradiation notably, and its color deepens from pale yellow to brown. Surface roughness of the AO-treated sample is already increased obviously after AO irradiation for 5 hours, and exhibits a flannel-like appearance after 15 hours’ exposure in AO beam. The imide rings and benzene rings in kapton molecule are partially decomposed, and some new bonds form during AO irradiation. The mass loss of kapton film increases linearly with the increase of AO fluence, which is resulted from the formation of volatile products, such as CO, CO2 and NOx. The breakage in structure and degradation in properties of AO-treated Kapton film can be attributed to the integrated effect ofimpaction and oxidization of AO beam. The test results agree well with the space flight experimental data. 展开更多

The research studied the influences of high temperature, high pressure, high humidity, noise and other harmful factors in mining conditions on the people health and safety, and investigated the impacts of confined environmental on human physiology factors, including temperature, humidity, noise, pressure,toxic and harmful gases in terms of environmental characteristics in underground mines and an artificial intelligence system for simulation of the environment in a confined space of deep mines. Our results show that the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, mean pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, typing test speed and memory level percentage are negatively correlated with temperature value, and positively correlated with humidity value; the human temperature and weight are positively correlated with temperature value, and negatively correlated with humidity value. This research lays the foundation for the study of interaction between the deep confined space environment and safety behavior. 展开更多

In this paper,an analytical model is used to analyze the modulated polar mesospheric winter echoes(PMWE).The winter parameters were introduced to simulate the effects of different parameters during the artificial electron heating of PMWE.The important role of the charged dust particle in the creation of PMWE is confirmed again.It is found that during the heating of PMWE,the increases of the dust size,dust charge,electron temperature,initial electron density,and ion-neutral collision frequency cause the increase of the electron density irregularity,and hence the PMWE strength.However,with increasing the dust density,the electron density irregularity and the PMWE strength decrease. 展开更多

The ADS(accelerator driven subcritical system) project was proposed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.The initial proton beams delivered from an electron cyclotron resonance ion source can be effectively accelerated by 162.5 MHz 4.2 m long room temperature radio-frequency-quadrupoles(RFQ) operating in CW mode.To test the feasibility of this physical design,a new Fortran code for RFQ beam dynamics study,which is space charge dominated,was developed.This program is based on Particle-In-Cell(PIC) technique in the time domain.Using the RFQ structure designed for the CADS project,the beam dynamics behavior is performed.The well-known simulation code TRACK is used for benchmarks.The results given by these two codes show good agreements.Numerical techniques as well as the results of beam dynamics studies are presented in this paper. 展开更多

A strong analog classical simulation of general quantum evolution is proposed, which serves as a novel scheme in quantum computation and simulation. The scheme employs the approach of geometric quantum mechanics and quantum informational technique of quantum tomography, which applies broadly to cases of mixed states, nonunitary evolution, and infinite dimensional systems. The simulation provides an intriguing classical picture to probe quantum phenomena, namely, a coherent quantum dynamics can be viewed as a globally constrained classical Hamiltonian dynamics of a collection of coupled particles or strings. Efficiency analysis reveals a fundamental difference between the locality in real space and locality in Hilbert space, the latter enables efficient strong analog classical simulations. Examples are also studied to highlight the differences and gaps among various simulation methods. 展开更多
