For a P-polarized femtosecond laser, the periodic nanograting structu...In this paper, TitaiJum dioxide (TiO2) rutile single crystal was irradiated by infrared femtosecond laser pulses with repetition rate of 250 kHz. For a P-polarized femtosecond laser, the periodic nanograting structure on the ablation crater surface was formed . The periodicity is much less than the laser wavelength. The direction of nanograting alignment depends on the polarization laser beam. Micro-Raman spectra show that the intensity of Eg Raman vibrating mode of rutile phase increases and that of Alg Raman vibrating mode decreases apparently within the ablation crater. With the increase of irradiation time and laser average power, the Raman vibrating modes of anatase phase emerged. Rutile phase of TiO2 single crystal is partly transformed into anatase phase.展开更多
Single pixel imaging is a novel imaging technique,and it becomes a focus of research in recent years due to its advantages such as high lateral resolution and high robustness to noise.Imaging speed is one of the criti...Single pixel imaging is a novel imaging technique,and it becomes a focus of research in recent years due to its advantages such as high lateral resolution and high robustness to noise.Imaging speed is one of the critical shortcomings,which limits the further development and applications of this technique.In this paper,we focus on the issues of imaging efficiency of a single pixel imaging system.We propose semi-continuous wavelet transform(SCWT)protocol and introduce the protocol into the single pixel imaging system.The proposed protocol is something between continuous wavelet transform and discrete wavelet transform,which allows the usage of those smooth(usually non-orthogonal,and they have advantages in representing smooth signals compressively,which can improve the imaging speed of single pixel imaging)wavelets and with limited numbers of measurements.The proposed imaging scheme is studied,and verified by simulations and experiments.Furthermore,a comparison between our proposed scheme and existing imaging schemes are given.According to the results,the proposed SCWT scheme is proved to be effective in reconstructing a image compressively.展开更多

In which only measured the high-pass wavelet coefficients of the image but preserved the low-pass wavelet coefficient. Then, fuse the low-pass wavelet coefficients and the measurements of high-pass wavelet coefficient with different schemes. For the reconstruction, by using the minimization of total variation algorithm (TV), high-pass wavelet coefficients could be recovered by the fused measurements. Finally, the fused image could be reconstructed by the inverse wavelet transform. The experiments show the proposed method provides promising fusion performance with a low computational complexity.展开更多
Based on the good localization characteristic of the wavelet transform both in time and frequency domain, a de-noising method based on wavelet transform is presented, which can make the extraction of visual evoked pot...Based on the good localization characteristic of the wavelet transform both in time and frequency domain, a de-noising method based on wavelet transform is presented, which can make the extraction of visual evoked potentials in single training sample from the EEG background noise in favor of studying the changes between the single sample response happen. The information is probably related with the different function, appearance and pathologies of the brain. At the same time this method can also be used to remove those signal’s artifacts that do not appear with EP within the same scope of time or frequency. The traditional Fourier filter can hardly attain the similar result. This method is different from other wavelet de-noising methods in which different criteria are employed in choosing wavelet coefficient. It has a biggest virtue of noting the differences among the single training sample and making use of the characteristics of high time frequency resolution to reduce the effect of interference factors to a maximum extent within the time scope that EP appear. The experiment result proves that this method is not restricted by the signal-to-noise ratio of evoked potential and electroencephalograph (EEG) and even can recognize instantaneous event under the condition of lower signal-to-noise ratio, as well as recognize the samples which evoked evident response more easily. Therefore, more evident average evoked response could be achieved by de-nosing the signals obtained through averaging out the samples that can evoke evident responses than de-nosing the average of original signals. In addition, averaging methodology can dramatically reduce the number of record samples needed, thus avoiding the effect of behavior change during the recording process. This methodology pays attention to the differences among single training sample and also accomplishes the extraction of visual evoked potentials from single trainings sample. As a result, system speed and accuracy could be improved to a great extent if this methodology is applied to brain-computer interface system based on evoked responses.展开更多

Through theoretical analysis and experimental observations, it was found that the stress-induced martensitic transformation process of single crystal Cu-based SMA under uniaxial tension condition consisted of three periods: nucleation, mixed nucleation and growth, and merging due to growth. During the nucleation, the stress dropped rapidly and the number of interfaces increased very fast while the phase fraction increased slowly. In the second period, both the stress and the interface number changed slightly but the phase fraction increased dramatically. Finally, the stress and the phase fraction changed slowly while the number of interfaces decreased quickly. Moreover, it was found that the transformation could be of multi-stage: sharp stress drops at several strains and correspondingly, the nucleation and growth process occurred quasi-independently in several parts of the sample.展开更多
Inspired by MXene nanosheets and their regulation of surface functional groups,a series of Ti_(2)C‐based single‐atom electrocatalysts(TM@Ti_(2)CT_(x),TM=V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,and Ni)with two dif‐ferent functional groups(T=...Inspired by MXene nanosheets and their regulation of surface functional groups,a series of Ti_(2)C‐based single‐atom electrocatalysts(TM@Ti_(2)CT_(x),TM=V,Cr,Mn,Fe,Co,and Ni)with two dif‐ferent functional groups(T=–O and–S)was designed.The CO_(2)RR catalytic performance was stud‐ied using well‐defined ab initio calculations.Our results show that the CO_(2) molecule can be more readily activated on TM@Ti_(2)CO_(2) than the TM@Ti_(2)CS_(2) surface.Bader charge analysis reveals that the Ti_(2)CO_(2) substrate is involved in the adsorption reaction,and enough electrons are injected into the 2π*u orbital of CO_(2),leading to a V‐shaped CO_(2) molecular configuration and partial negative charge distribution.The V‐shaped CO_(2) further reduces the difficulty of the first hydrogenation reac‐tion step.The calculatedΔG of the first hydrogenation reaction on TM@Ti_(2)CO_(2) was significantly lower than that of the TM@Ti_(2)CS_(2) counterpart.However,the subsequent CO_(2) reduction pathways show that the UL of the potential determining step on TM@Ti_(2)CS_(2) is smaller than that of TM@Ti_(2)CO_(2).Combining the advantages of both TM@Ti_(2)CS_(2) and TM@Ti_(2)CO_(2),we designed a mixed functional group surface with–O and–S to anchor TM atoms.The results show that Cr atoms an‐chored on the surface of mixed functional groups exhibit high catalytic activity for the selective production of CH4.This study opens an exciting new avenue for the rational design of highly selec‐tive MXene‐based single‐atom CO_(2)RR electrocatalysts.展开更多
Existing experimental results have shown that four types of physical mechanisms, namely, martensite transformation, martensite reorientation, magnetic domain wall motion and magnetization vector rotation, can be activ...Existing experimental results have shown that four types of physical mechanisms, namely, martensite transformation, martensite reorientation, magnetic domain wall motion and magnetization vector rotation, can be activated during the magneto-mechanical deformation of NiMnGa ferromagnetic shape memory alloy (FSMA) single crystals. In this work, based on irreversible thermodynamics, a three-dimensional (3D) single crystal constitutive model is constructed by considering the aforementioned four mechanisms simultaneously. Three types of internal variables, i.e., the volume fraction of each martensite variant, the volume fraction of magnetic domain in each variant and the deviation angle between the magnetization vector, and easy axis are introduced to characterize the magneto-mechanical state of the single crystals. The thermodynamic driving force of each mechanism and the thermodynamic constraints on the constitutive model are obtained from Clausius's dissipative inequality and constructed Gibbs free energy. Then, thermodynamically consistent kinetic equations for the four mechanisms are proposed, respectively. Finally, the ability of the proposed model to describe the magneto-mechanical deformation of NiMnGa FSMA single crystals is verified by comparing the predictions with corresponding experimental results. It is shown that the proposed model can quantitatively capture the main experimental phenomena. Further, the proposed model is used to predict the deformations of the single crystals under the non-proportional mechanical loading conditions.展开更多

It is found that the oscillatory range of perturbation energies of open-shell systems increases as the spin multiplicity of systems changes from 2 to 4. Feenberg transformation is exploited to treat the divergence problems. It is found numerically that within the interval of Feenberg parameter there exists a minimum perturbation order at which the perturbation series become convergent. It is also found for the open-shell systems that the magnitude of the corresponding Feenberg parameter becomes larger as the spin multiplicity of the system of interest changes from 2 to 4.展开更多

Second,the governing equation of the single-DOF transformation process is established using the dynamicequations of motion of the robot. This allows the joint torques to be computed to effect the statetransformation. Objective: Nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate(NSCL/P) is a common birth defect with unclear etiology. Both genetic and environmental factors may contribute to NSCL/P. Many genes have been identifie...Objective: Nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate(NSCL/P) is a common birth defect with unclear etiology. Both genetic and environmental factors may contribute to NSCL/P. Many genes have been identified as candidate genes associated with this disease. Interferon regulatory factor 6(IRF6) gene and transforming growth factor-a(TGFA) gene seem to be crucial in the predisposition of NSCL/ P. Here we evaluated some single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) loci of TGFA and IRF6 genes in Chinese nuclear families consisting of fathers, mothers and affected offspring with NSCL/P. Methods:Fifty patients of NSCL/P were confirmed by the plastic surgeons. They and their parents were included in the study, all with the informed consents. SNPs loci of TGFA and IRF6 genes were analyzed by microarray technology. Some PCR products were randomly chosen and sequenced to check microarray results. The distribution of gene type and allele frequency between patient group and parents group were compared. Then a Haplotype Relative Risk(HRR) and Transmission Disequilibrium Test(TDT) were performed. Results:The sequences of randomly selected PCR products were all consistent with the microarray results. All loci were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. There were no significant differences in the distribution of genotypes and alleles between patients and their parents. Using HRR and TDT analyses the V274I of IRF6 was associated with NSCL/P, while another SNP locus oflRF6 was not. Strong evidence of linkage disequilibrium was found between the 2 SNP loci of TGFA and disease with the HRR analysis, but not with the TDT analysis. Conclusion:Our study confirms the contribution of IRF6 in the etiology of NSCL/P in populations of Asian ancestry. The association of TGFA with NSCL/P requires further research.展开更多

With the rapid development of wireless systems,the demand for frequency resources has been increasing in recent years.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the high-quality communication method that efficiently utiliz...With the rapid development of wireless systems,the demand for frequency resources has been increasing in recent years.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the high-quality communication method that efficiently utilizes finite frequency resources.In this paper,Single Sideband 16 Pulse Amplitude Modulation(SSB 16PAM)scheme for the uplink communication is proposed.It transmits data in only Lower Sideband(LSB)without extra Hilbert components.Under Additive White Gaussian Noise(AWGN)channel environment,Bit Error Rate(BER)performance of the proposed scheme is superior by 3 dB in terms of Carrier-to-Noise Ratio(CNR)to 256 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(256QAM)scheme with the same frequency efficiency and the same Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR).Our proposed scheme employs the original frequency domain filter on the transmitter side to form an ideal spectrum.The configuration of its process is almost similar to Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access(SC-FDMA),moreover,half of the input data on the frequency domain is removed.The proposed frequency domain filter produces the SSB-modulated spectrum with a roll-off rate of zero without degrading the BER performance.展开更多

When thermally martensitic transformation occurs, about 0.25% transformation strain is obtained which may be obviously enhanced to about 0.8% by a 6 000 Oe magnetic bias field. However, the strain decreases by the external compress stress loaded along the strain-measured direction. When the external compress stress and bias magnetic field are simultaneously applied, the transformation strain decreases with increasing the magnetic field, which is related to the rearrangement of the martensite variants influenced by the external field.展开更多

The thermodynamic driving force of each mechanism and the thermodynamic constraints on the constitutive model are obtained from Clausius's dissipative inequality and constructed Gibbs free energy. Then, thermodynamically consistent kinetic equations for the four mechanisms are proposed, respectively. Finally, the ability of the proposed model to describe the magneto-mechanical deformation of NiMnGa FSMA single crystals is verified by comparing the predictions with corresponding experimental results. It is shown that the proposed model can quantitatively capture the main experimental phenomena. Further, the proposed model is used to predict the deformations of the single crystals under the non-proportional mechanical loading conditions.

文摘The proposed scheme is based on Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) domain processing. The key technology of this scheme is jamming parameters' accurate estimation and jamming reconstruction. Compared with the 'threshold exciser' scheme the proposed scheme can eliminate more jamming energy on the whole frequency band with the minimum loss of useful signal energy. As shown in the research and simulation, the proposed scheme is much better than the 'threshold exciser' scheme, especially in the case of high power jamming whereas the 'threshold exciser' scheme might be invalid.

文摘Divergences of the single reference perturbation theories due to the addition of diffusion basis functions have been investigated for both closed-shell and open-shell molecular systems. It is found that the oscillatory range of perturbation energies of open-shell systems increases as the spin multiplicity of systems changes from 2 to 4. Feenberg transformation is exploited to treat the divergence problems. It is found numerically that within the interval of Feenberg parameter there exists a minimum perturbation order at which the perturbation series become convergent. It is also found for the open-shell systems that the magnitude of the corresponding Feenberg parameter becomes larger as the spin multiplicity of the system of interest changes from 2 to 4.
文摘Partial thermoelastic martensitic transformations have been studied by calorimetry on CuAlNi single crystals with special methods. The chemical enthalpy change, the elastic energy stored at the interfaces or inside of the martensite and the energy dissipated in acoustic emission were calculated for a partial transformation; the relationship among them was studied based on measured latent heat and transformation temperatures. The influence of specimen shape on the stored elastic energy was evaluated and discussed.
文摘The transformation process of an m-DOF free-floating robot from one staticstate to a different static state has m degrees of freedom. The proposed approach of thesetransformations utilizes a series of single-DOF transformation processes as an alternative to them-DOF transformation process. Two static state transformation processes are studied in detail.First, a single-DOF transformation process is established using a newly defined concept, referred toas transformation planning, and the definite integral of conservation of angular momentum. Second,the governing equation of the single-DOF transformation process is established using the dynamicequations of motion of the robot. This allows the joint torques to be computed to effect the statetransformation. Finally, an extension of the single-DOF transformation process is proposed to extendthe application of this proposed transformation methodology to create a transformation net whichallows the reconfiguration of a robot from one state to many other possible states.

文摘Objective: Nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate(NSCL/P) is a common birth defect with unclear etiology. Both genetic and environmental factors may contribute to NSCL/P. Many genes have been identified as candidate genes associated with this disease. Interferon regulatory factor 6(IRF6) gene and transforming growth factor-a(TGFA) gene seem to be crucial in the predisposition of NSCL/ P. Here we evaluated some single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) loci of TGFA and IRF6 genes in Chinese nuclear families consisting of fathers, mothers and affected offspring with NSCL/P. Methods:Fifty patients of NSCL/P were confirmed by the plastic surgeons. They and their parents were included in the study, all with the informed consents. SNPs loci of TGFA and IRF6 genes were analyzed by microarray technology. Some PCR products were randomly chosen and sequenced to check microarray results. The distribution of gene type and allele frequency between patient group and parents group were compared. Then a Haplotype Relative Risk(HRR) and Transmission Disequilibrium Test(TDT) were performed. Results:The sequences of randomly selected PCR products were all consistent with the microarray results. All loci were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. There were no significant differences in the distribution of genotypes and alleles between patients and their parents. Using HRR and TDT analyses the V274I of IRF6 was associated with NSCL/P, while another SNP locus oflRF6 was not. Strong evidence of linkage disequilibrium was found between the 2 SNP loci of TGFA and disease with the HRR analysis, but not with the TDT analysis. Conclusion:Our study confirms the contribution of IRF6 in the etiology of NSCL/P in populations of Asian ancestry. The association of TGFA with NSCL/P requires further research.
文摘Deviation is essential to classic soft threshold denoising in wavelet domain. Texture features ofnoised image denoised by wavelet transform were weakened. Gibbs effect is distinct at edges of image.Image blurs comparing with original noised image. To solve the questions, a blind denoising method basedon single-wavelet transform and multiwavelets transform was proposed. The method doesn’t depend onsize of image and deviation to determine threshold of wavelet coefficients, which is different from classicalsoft-threshold denoising in wavelet domain. Moreover, the method is good for many types of noise. Gibbseffect disappeared with this method, edges of image are preserved well, and noise is smoothed andrestrained effectively.
文摘With the rapid development of wireless systems,the demand for frequency resources has been increasing in recent years.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the high-quality communication method that efficiently utilizes finite frequency resources.In this paper,Single Sideband 16 Pulse Amplitude Modulation(SSB 16PAM)scheme for the uplink communication is proposed.It transmits data in only Lower Sideband(LSB)without extra Hilbert components.Under Additive White Gaussian Noise(AWGN)channel environment,Bit Error Rate(BER)performance of the proposed scheme is superior by 3 dB in terms of Carrier-to-Noise Ratio(CNR)to 256 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(256QAM)scheme with the same frequency efficiency and the same Peak-to-Average Power Ratio(PAPR).Our proposed scheme employs the original frequency domain filter on the transmitter side to form an ideal spectrum.The configuration of its process is almost similar to Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access(SC-FDMA),moreover,half of the input data on the frequency domain is removed.The proposed frequency domain filter produces the SSB-modulated spectrum with a roll-off rate of zero without degrading the BER performance.

文摘The subharmonic response of a single-degree-of-freedom linear vibroimpact oscillator with a one-sided barrier to the narrow-band random excitation is investigated.The analysis is based on a special Zhuravlev transformation,which reduces the system to the one without impacts or velocity jumps,and thereby permits the applications of asymptotic averaging over the period for slowly varying the inphase and quadrature responses.The averaged stochastic equations are exactly solved by the method of moments for the mean square response amplitude for the case of zero offset.A perturbation-based moment closure scheme is proposed for the case of nonzero offset.The effects of damping,detuning,and bandwidth and magnitudes of the random excitations are analyzed.The theoretical analyses are verified by the numerical results.The theoretical analyses and numerical simulations show that the peak amplitudes can be strongly reduced at the large detunings.
文摘The influence of external field(magnetic field and stress field) on the transformation strain of Ni 52.9- Mn 24.4Ga 22.7 single crystal were investigated and its mechanism was also discussed. When thermally martensitic transformation occurs, about 0.25% transformation strain is obtained which may be obviously enhanced to about 0.8% by a 6 000 Oe magnetic bias field. However, the strain decreases by the external compress stress loaded along the strain-measured direction. When the external compress stress and bias magnetic field are simultaneously applied, the transformation strain decreases with increasing the magnetic field, which is related to the rearrangement of the martensite variants influenced by the external field.
文摘Lignocellulose—a major component of biomass available on earth is a renewable and abundantly available with great potential for bioconversion to value-added bio-products. The review aims at physio-chemical features of lignocellulosic biomass and composition of different lignocellulosic materials. This work is an overview about the conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into bio-energy products such as bio-ethanol, 1-butanol, bio-methane, bio-hydrogen, organic acids including citric acid, succinic acid and lactic acid, microbial polysaccharides, single cell protein and xylitol. The biotechnological aspect of bio-transformation of lignocelluloses research and its future prospects are also discussed.
