TCP faces new challenges in this unique environment. Theory and experiments showed that TCP becomes inefficient and is prone to be unstable as the per-flow product of bandwidth and latency increases, regardless of the queuing scheme. Variable-structure congestion Control Protocol (VCP) is proposed to address these problems. However, VCP has problem in terms of convergence time, i.e., it takes a long time for a new VCP flow to achieve fair bandwidth allocation if the existing VCP flows have large con- gestion windows. This paper proposed an Extended Variable-structure congestion Control Protocol (EVCP), which adopted a convergence controller. The basic idea of convergence controller is that if a flow has larger window than its fair window, its congestion window should be decreased more aggressively than usual in Multiplicative Decrease (MD) phase. Simulations showed that EVCP has better performance in terms of convergence time while keeping the advantages of VCP.展开更多
In order to improve the path tracking accuracy and robustness of the agricultural machinery navigation system,a sliding-mode variable-structure controller based on exact feedback linearization was presented.Firstly,ba...In order to improve the path tracking accuracy and robustness of the agricultural machinery navigation system,a sliding-mode variable-structure controller based on exact feedback linearization was presented.Firstly,based on the differential geometry theory and the affine nonlinear kinematics model,the corresponding nonlinear coordinate change matrix and nonlinear state variable feedback equations were deduced,and an exact feedback linearization model was then established.Secondly,based on the exact feedback linearization model,a sliding-mode variable-structure controller was designed by selecting suitable linear switching function and exponential reaching law.Finally,the comparative experiments were carried out.And the experimental results indicated that the proposed method had a high tracking accuracy and robustness.The maximum lateral error of the straight line tracking was less than 0.06 m,and maximum lateral error of the curve path tracking was less than 0.09 m.Experimental results show that the transplanter based on this automatic navigation system can effectively track the predefined path.展开更多

In the improved DTC method, the stator flux and the torque controllers use variable-structure control theory which does not require information about the rotor speed. Space vector modulation is applied to the voltage source inverter to reduce the torque, stator flux, and current ripples. The digital signal processor-based implementation is described in detail. The experimental results show that the system has good torque and stator flux response with small ripples.展开更多
