The humanistic quality is one of the most important qualities for students to acquire in humanistic education.However,the limited class time for tightly scheduled teaching tasks fails to guarantee a satisfying result for humanistic education.In this paper,three strategies are proposed as the way out of this dilemma.The first,is to equip the College English teachers with rich professional and humanistic knowledge.The second is to change the traditional College English Teaching aim which is not suitable as a guide for current teaching.And the last is to require all the English teachers to explore and clarify the humanistic connotation in the texts which helps shape students’view of the world and value of the life. 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to find a way to promote the collaboration and interaction of students and bring about the growth of learners through feedback while taking advantage of real-time interactive class via video conferencing tools.Although real-time interactive class with using video conferencing tools had great advantages,but there were also limitations of active interaction.To this end,real-time interactive tool and cloud-based educational platform were applied to create cases of learner participation classes and analyze the cases.The convergence of real-time interactive class tools and cloud tools has been able to draw students’participation and collaboration in non-face-to-face situations,and it can be seen that it is very helpful in creating learner-centered educational activities based on communication and interaction with students.Through this,the application of the cloud-based educational platform in real-time interactive class could lead students to participate and collaborate even in non-face-to-face situations. 展开更多

Moral education is a part of talent training.Based on the analysis of the current situation of moral education in colleges and universities,this study systematically analyzes the ideological and political position of local college students,their ideological and moral character,as well as moral characterization through questionnaire,interview,induction,and factor analysis;then,the existing problems in moral education are summarized as follows:the mode of moral education is rigid,students'subjectivity and subjective initiative are disregarded,spoon-feeding is common,and a single theme is used.The form and content are not relevant to students'life,and they do not stimulate students'interest in learning;in addition,the effect of moral education is not evident.Based on the above problems,this study fully considers the students'subjectivity and subjective initiative.In line with the goal of moral education in colleges and universities,the ARCS model is constructed for moral education.Through pre-class flipped classroom,problem-based learning(PBL)during classes,as well as the summary and reflection after classes,the function of moral education for self-education,self-management,self-reflection,and sel&service can be realized. 展开更多

Recently,small class course teaching,with less than 30 students,seems to outperform the traditional large class course teaching in the field of education.Students can use online private course platform to preview course-related knowledge and promote practical experiences of offline courses.In this study,an evaluation strategy has been proposed for precision education protocol in small class course(SCC)based on artificial intelligence(AI),with the goal of focusing on the curriculum design and teaching approaches.By using the AI precision education model,the teaching approaches of SCC can be integrated into the traditional classroom.The results showed that the AI precision education model can promote the learning outcomes and enhance students’learning achievements. 展开更多

Gaokao has been considered as the gatekeeper of intergenerational class reproduction in today’s slowing social mobility in China.In order to bolster the fairness of Gaokao,the Policy of Bonus Scores for Ethnic Minority Candidates(PBSEMC)has been issued,whose,however,effectiveness in promoting upward social class has not been adequately empirically explored.The difference-in-differences(DID)analysis based on cross-sectional data,which is distinct from the traditional DID analysis paradigm,was implemented to assess the Reform of PBSEMC in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1988.The results showed that PBSEMC had a significant and positive impact on the social classes of ethnic minorities,and gender,residence type and occupation type were also relevant to social class,aligning with the previous literature.The PBSEMC is effective in improving the social classes of ethnic minorities.However,the PBSEMC policy should be made more precise,in order to benefit the candidates who are in genuine need of assistance. 展开更多

Using data from the last European Survey on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC), this paper focuses on the measurement of well-being and on its association with education. EU-SILC survey gives information on several aspects of people’s daily life (i.e. housing, labour, health, education, finance, material deprivation and possession of durables) allowing a multi-dimensional approach to the study of well-being, poverty and social exclusion. For our aims we have considered only survey data collected in Italy. Due to the multidimensionality of well-being concept, we have selected some variables related principally to four main dimensions of well-being, which are financial endowment, housing conditions and goods possessions, health status, and environment. A first explanatory analysis via multivariate regression model has highlighted the effect of education on the factors considered. Finally, a latent class regression analysis has been used to cluster individuals into mutually exclusive latent classes which identify different intensities of well-being (the latent trait) taking into account the effect of education in the membership probability of each latent class. 展开更多

The article investigates on the educational value and upon the teacher of support, trying to clarify some aspects of inclusive education and school integration. Starting from the central role of the teacher of support is analysed by the task of its educational dimension, the different competences that are required to him, the aspects linked to the action of didactic that teachers can intervene to increase the level of integration and inclusion in the classroom, the best possible practices to be used in the classroom in order to better value the individual differences and to increase the highest possible educational success for students with special educational needs. Finally, it is hoped the use of cooperative learning, rather than learn by competitiveness and individualistic, since encourage more interaction between disabled and non-disabled students, a greater empathy between them, without forgetting that inclusive education is facilitated in school environments in which the teaching is active and where difficulties and problems that arise are analyzed to produce improvements. 展开更多

The aim of this study is to have an analysis of the plot and the characters in the novel,Agnes Grey,in terms of the perspectives of education and culture.Anne Brontë’s first novel focuses on the life of Agnes,who is a young governess living in the Victorian era.In the novel,the narrative shows a period of time in English literature,when industrialization has a significant impact on the aspects such as social life and education,in a way in which women experienced many kinds of struggles for holding on to their lives and reaching their dreams.Agnes Grey,the main character of the novel,came from a middle-class family.She lived to tell the adventures of starting her career as a governess,and the difficulties she experienced.It didn’t take long for Agnes,who started her first experience with the Bloomfield family,to face the rich upper-class culture and see the difficulties in educating children from another social class.The Murray family,with whom she stayed for a longer time,was the place where Agnes gained expression that extended into the adulthood.Agnes’teaching shows not only a kind of class struggle,but also a balance between the dialectical poles of the ideal and the reality.Agnes returned,in her adulthood,to her family with her teaching experiences.By keeping a concept of love in her mind,Agnes would be able to have the sense of reality in which culture and education came to offer. 展开更多
