However, more comprehensive research is needed to understand the effectiveness of th...The construction industry, known for its low productivity, is increasingly utilising software and mobile apps to enhance efficiency. However, more comprehensive research is needed to understand the effectiveness of these technology applications. The PRISMA principles utilised a scoping review methodology to ascertain pertinent studies and extract significant findings. From 2013 onwards, articles containing data on mobile applications or software designed to enhance productivity in the construction sector were obtained from multiple databases, including Emerald Insight, Science Direct, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. After evaluating 2604 articles, 30 were determined to be pertinent to the study and were subsequently analysed for the review. The review identified five key themes: effectiveness, benefits, successful implementation examples, obstacles and limitations, and a comprehensive list of software and mobile apps. In addition, 71 software and mobile apps have shown potentially how these technologies can improve communication, collaboration, project management, real-time collaboration, document management, and on-the-go project information and estimating processes in the construction industry, increasing efficiency and productivity. The findings highlight the potential of these technologies such as Automation, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Internet of Things (IoT) to improve efficiency and communication in the construction industry. Despite challenges such as cost, lack of awareness, resistance to change, compatibility concerns, human resources, technological and security concerns and licensing issues, the study identifies specific mobile applications and software with the potential to enhance efficiency significantly, improve productivity and streamline workflows. The broader societal impacts of construction software and mobile app development include increased efficiency, job creation, and sustainability.展开更多

This study aims to investigate the influence of emerging technology adoption on tax compliance, encompassing both the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) compliance audits and taxpayers’ compliance performance (collect...This study aims to investigate the influence of emerging technology adoption on tax compliance, encompassing both the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) compliance audits and taxpayers’ compliance performance (collectively, tax compliance). We employed the Gradient Descent optimization algorithm, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology application, to scrutinize the connection between the quality of US tax filings and the development of emerging technology, among other contributing factors. Additionally, we utilized multiple linear regression to evaluate the relationships between dependent variables, specifically IRS audit rates and the no-change rate at different income levels,1 and several independent variables, including a proxy for emerging technology in the form of tax software. Our findings reveal that while emerging technology significantly impacts tax compliance within the IRS and taxpayers’ performance, its effects vary across income groups. Notably, emerging technology seems to confer greater advantages to higher-income individuals compared to their lower-income counterparts. These study results hold considerable policy implications for government decision-makers in promoting the adoption of emerging technology among lower-income taxpayers.展开更多

[Methed] Bio-safety disposal and recovering processing of excrements in a duck farm were researched based on technology of configuration, detection, digestion, EM and poultry breeding. [Result] The integrated application technology is quite simple and the cost is not high. During breeding period, excellent organic fertilizers and high-protein forages could be obtained without any antibiotics. Furthermore, secondary wastes and pollution would not occur. In addition, ammonia was lower in excrements processed with earthworm and air pollution was reduced; the produced humus provided organic fertilizers and improved barren soils. It is tough for an instructor to keep track of their students at the same time because it is difficult to screen if any of the understudies within the class are not present, mindful, or drowsing. This paper discusses a possible solution, something new that can offer support to instructors seeing things from a more significant point of view. The solution is a facial analysis computer program that can let instructors know which students are attentive and who is not. There’s a green and red square box for face detection, for which Instructors can watch by seeing a green box on those mindful students conjointly, a red box on those who are not mindful at all. This paper finds that the program can automatically give attendance by analyzing data from face detection. It has other features for which the teacher can also know if any student leaves the class early. Objective:Nutrition practice in India has generally been confined to pen and paper with little use of algorithms and technology.Nutritionists in practice find it difficult to go beyond macronutrient analysis for dieta...Objective:Nutrition practice in India has generally been confined to pen and paper with little use of algorithms and technology.Nutritionists in practice find it difficult to go beyond macronutrient analysis for dietary intake or diet plans.Since nutrition practice requires lot of data processing,we decided to develop software to aid in these calculations and to empower nutritionist with technology enabled scientific practice using software.Method:Ntuitive software was developed by a team of nutrition experts and technologists over a period of 18 months.Data for nutrient values was sources from IFCT 2017[6],RDA’s were taken from ICMR guidelines and growth charts from IAP publications[7].Design and coding of the software was done inhouse.Ntuitive database has over 8500 recipes and packed foods and has most of the national and international cuisine items.The software module enables client/patient management,detailed profiling,recording anthropometric data and plotting on WHO and IAP growth charts,recording food allergies and medical condition.The dietary recall be it one day,three day or seven day can be easily recorded and analysis of nutrients can be obtained for the same.The software is hosted on Amazon Web Server and applied as SAAS platform for practice.Result:800 children and adults underwent analysis and consultation using Ntuitive software.All 189 micronutrients could be calculated using the software and deficiency or excess quantified when compared with RDA.Conclusion:Nutrition practice can be made easy and technology enabled keeping in mind scientific standards.This helps in data collection not just in macro nutrients,but also in micronutrients.展开更多
