In theframework, the qualitative solid model is the core, which represents qualitatively (using symbols)the conceptual shapes of mechanical products. Current formulation development strongly relies on trial-and-error experiments in the laboratory by pharmaceutical scientists,which is time-consuming,high cost and waste materials.This research aims to integrate various computational tools,including machine learning,molecular dynamic simulation and physiologically based absorption modeling(PBAM),to enhance andrographolide(AG)/cyclodextrins(CDs)formulation design.The light GBM prediction model we built before was utilized to predict AG/CDs inclusion's binding free energy.AG/γ-CD inclusion complexes showed the strongest binding affinity,which was experimentally validated by the phase solubility study.The molecular dynamic simulation was used to investigate the inclusion mechanism between AG andγ-CD,which was experimentally characterized by DSC,FTIR and NMR techniques.PBAM was applied to simulate the in vivo behavior of the formulations,which were validated by cell and animal experiments.Cell experiments revealed that the presence of D-α-Tocopherol polyethylene glycol succinate(TPGS)significantly increased the intracellular uptake of AG in MDCKMDR1 cells and the absorptive transport of AG in MDCK-MDR1 monolayers.The relative bioavailability of the AG-CD-TPGS ternary system in rats was increased to 2.6-fold and 1.59-fold compared with crude AG and commercial dropping pills,respectively.In conclusion,this is the first time to integrate various computational tools to develop a new AG-CD-TPGS ternary formulation with significant improvement of aqueous solubility,dissolution rate and bioavailability.The integrated computational tool is a novel and robust methodology to facilitate pharmaceutical formulation design. 展开更多

The general computer-aided design (CAD) software cannot meet the mould design requirement of the autoclave process for composites, because many parameters such as temperature and pressure should be considered in the mould design process, in addition to the material and geometry of the part. A framed-mould computer-aided design system (FMCAD) used in the autoclave moulding process is proposed in this paper. A function model of the software is presented, in which influence factors such as part structure, mould structure, and process parameters are considered; a design model of the software is established using object oriented (O-O) technology to integrate the stiffness calculation, temperature field calculation, and deformation field calculation of mould in the design, and in the design model, a hybrid model of mould based on calculation feature and form feature is presented to support those calculations. A prototype system is developed, in which a mould design process wizard is built to integrate the input information, calculation, analysis, data storage, display, and design results of mould design. The selection of phase change material(PCM)plays an important role in developing high-efficient thermal energy storage(TES)processes.Ionic liquids(ILs)or organic salts are thermally stable,non-volatile,and non-flammable.Importantly,researchers have proved that some ILs possess higher latent heat of fusion than conventional PCMs.Despite these attractive characteristics,yet surprisingly,little research has been performed to the systematic selection or structural design of ILs for TES.Besides,most of the existing work is only focused on the latent heat when selecting PCMs.However,one should note that other properties such as heat capacity and thermal conductivity could affect the TES performance as well.In this work,we propose a computer-aided molecular design(CAMD)based method to systematically design IL PCMs for a practical TES process.The effects of different IL properties are simultaneously captured in the IL property models and TES process models.Optimal ILs holding a best compromise of all the properties are identified through the solution of a formulated CAMD problem where the TES performance of the process is maximized.[MPyEtOH][TfO]is found to be the best material and excitingly,the identified top nine ILs all show a higher TES performance than the traditional PCM paraffin wax at 10 h thermal charging time. 展开更多

Based upon characteristic movement features of the overlying strata in solid backfill mining and in-situ observations,an associated model representing a roadway support system has been developed.Based on the Winkler foundation and beam model,the current study presents a static analysis of the model,thus permitting acquisition of a theoretical formula pertaining to roof convergence.Through use of working face 6304-1(Jisan Colliery) as the research setting,the association between roof convergence magnitude and both packwall strength and width have been elucidated.Based upon observed conditions at the working face,realistic packwall parameters have been formulated,with numerical simulation results and field application results indicating that design parameters garnered from the developed formula successfully adapted to local geological movement and deformation.Accordingly,roadway deformation was shown to be within the permissible range,thus satisfying mine production requirements.The proposed method in the current study may give a design basis for pack design in the context of SBM under similar conditions. 展开更多

In this article, the mathematical foundations of the so called Criterion of Optimization by Compensation for designing commercial bottles with a straight section along its silhouette and with lateral surfaces of revolution is presented. Such mathematical model uses as main tools, Lagrange polynomial interpolation and Newton’s Method for Nonlinear Systems being first necessary to formulate and demonstrate a theorem. It was redesigned and manufactured a bottle of a half-liter of Fanta soda of the well-known Coca Cola Company, which uses 18.86% more material that such criterion establishes. It was expected that the redesigned bottle use 4.91% more of material with respect to what is established by the Criterion of Optimization by Compensation. However, it was reported a 13% of mistake due to important limitations that must be overcome. 展开更多

The landfill design is necessary to be implemented in various regions to protect public human health and the factors of environment. The suggested design of landfill was performed in the arid areas, where that Babylon Governorate, Iraq was selected as a case study. Babylon Governorate is located in the middle of Iraq. The suggested design for the selected sites for landfill in the arid areas was consisted of the base liner and final cover systems. The HELP 3.95D model was applied on both systems to check if there is any leakage by leachate from the suggested soil layers of landfill base on the water balance in Babylon Governorate for the years 2005-2016. The suggested design of final cover system was implemented based on weather parameters in the arid areas through storing water that coming from the surface within upper layers that have fine particles and over the top barrier without leakage into the waste body, thereby preventing leachate generation. This is allowing to the stored water to evaporate from the surface of soil or transpire through vegetation due to the high temperature during the most months in the study area. The results showed there was no percolation of leachate through the base liner system. The design of final cover system was acted to reduce the runoff on the surface and increase the actual evaporation. 展开更多

A novel method to extract conic blending feature in reverse engineering is presented. Different from the methods to recover constant and variable radius blends from unorganized points, it contains not only novel segmentation and feature recognition techniques, but also bias corrected technique to capture more reliable distribution of feature parameters along the spine curve. The segmentation depending on point classification separates the points in the conic blend region from the input point cloud. The available feature parameters of the cross-sectional curves are extracted with the processes of slicing point clouds with planes, conic curve fitting, and parameters estimation and compensation, The extracted parameters and its distribution laws are refined according to statistic theory such as regression analysis and hypothesis test. The proposed method can accurately capture the original design intentions and conveniently guide the reverse modeling process. Application examples are presented to verify the high precision and stability of the proposed method. 展开更多

固体氧化物燃料电池(solid oxide fuel cell, SOFC)因具有转换效率高、无污染物排放、运行噪声低等特点被视为前景广阔的绿色发电技术之一,其被广泛应用于电力系统和交通运输等领域。针对SOFC稳态模型的参数优化设计问题,提出了一种基... 固体氧化物燃料电池(solid oxide fuel cell, SOFC)因具有转换效率高、无污染物排放、运行噪声低等特点被视为前景广阔的绿色发电技术之一,其被广泛应用于电力系统和交通运输等领域。针对SOFC稳态模型的参数优化设计问题,提出了一种基于混沌博弈优化(chaosgameoptimization, CGO)方法的SOFCs参数提取框架。同时,利用芬兰燃料电池技术公司Elcogen生产的陶瓷阳极支撑型平板式低温单体燃料电池(ASC-400B)工作于两种不同温度(即600℃和700℃)下的实验数据以及美国蒙大拿州立大学开发的基于物理模型的5 kW级管式SOFC电池堆栈模型在两种不同温度(即850℃和950℃)下的仿真数据,分别对所提框架、蒲公英优化器(dandelion optimizer, DO)、平衡优化器(equilibrium optimizer, EO)、粒子群优化(particle swarm optimization, PSO)算法和白鲨优化器(white shark optimizer, WSO)的参数提取的性能进行了深入的研究和分析。测试结果表明:相比于DO、EO、PSO和WSO,CGO能够准确、稳定且快速地提取上述各种SOFCs的模型未知参数,为SOFCs的系统建模提供了一种高效的方法。 展开更多

建立滚子包络环面蜗杆传动副的数学模型和三维精确实体模型,在传动比和中心距确定的情况下,分析不同蜗杆喉部最小直径、滚子直径对传动副的齿面接触特性,探讨中心距误差、蜗杆轴向误差、蜗轮轴向误差和轴交角误差4类装配误差对传动副齿... 建立滚子包络环面蜗杆传动副的数学模型和三维精确实体模型,在传动比和中心距确定的情况下,分析不同蜗杆喉部最小直径、滚子直径对传动副的齿面接触特性,探讨中心距误差、蜗杆轴向误差、蜗轮轴向误差和轴交角误差4类装配误差对传动副齿面啮合侧隙的影响规律。结果表明,蜗杆喉部最小直径、滚子直径的变化会影响齿面等效应力,最大等效应力随蜗杆喉部最小直径的变化呈“V”字形;中心距误差、蜗杆轴向误差会导致传动副齿面法向出现啮合间隙或过盈情况。蜗轮轴向误差、轴交角误差对传动副的齿面啮合区影响不大,但会出现一侧过盈增加、一侧过盈减少的现象,因此应将装配误差控制在一定范围内。 展开更多
