Nick is a thirty-something lawyer working in Moscow to broker huge deals between banks, oil companies and property developers. His project on a major loan to a subsidiary of an energy company is underway, and meanwhile, he comes across an enchanting girl, Masha and soon becomes involved with Masha's world, psychologically. This thesis tries to analyze the tension of the conflict between the corrupted native and the nave foreigner, and the sophisticated disposition of the narrator and the other innocent part. And thorough analyzing the tension reflected from other characters, the reason for Nick's tragedy is revealed.展开更多

There exists four main problems which are as follows: 1. Management thought is not advanced, and there is short of systematic plan. 2. Technical measures are backward, and work starting point is not high. 3. The level of personnel is low, and the development is restricted. 4. The contents of equipment are not good enough, and the funds of construction are insufficient. This paper gives the proposals on how to construct and develop equipment in colleges and universities in the future and describes the objective of the struggle, the channels to realize this objective, and the three problems to be noticed which are: 1. Adhere to integration of theory with practice. 2. Work in coordination with each other in all aspects. 3. Ensure the scientific decision. The paper also discusses some other specific problems such as management decision making, purchase of equipment, use of equipment, maintenance, modification, renewal of equipment, computerized management, etc..展开更多

There is normally a toxicological evaluation—in addition to other considerations—behind sales and use permissions and the levels that are accepted in food, air, water, etc. How does legislation affect toxicology? If there is no legislation, then clinical and forensic toxicology will be the most used toxicological disciplines (accidents and other cases of poisoning). The more sophisticated and restrictive the legislation becomes, the more toxicology is used not only to permit the use of chemicals but also to ban them. In addition, legislation for the protection of experimental animals has a profound influence in toxicology and accelerates the use of in vitro and other alternative methods. This paper discusses whether countries in the 'developed' world are overdoing it, thereby maybe hampering the essential use of chemicals in the developing countries. 1989 Academic Press, Inc.展开更多

The model, consisting of a time spectrum, can well fit the steady shear viscosities of the waxy crude oil over the whole experimental shear rate region from 10-4 to 102 s- 1. Two other experiments on complex fluids reported recently in the literature are also well described by this model demonstrating the applicability and accuracy of the model.展开更多

To tackle those limitations,a novel android smartphone application was developed based on a colorimetric analysis method using unmodified gold nanoparticles( AuNPs)aptamer probes to quantitatively detect Ibu. Under optimal conditions,it could detect Ibu as low as 0. 25 ng/mL with high selectivity. The determination of Ibu in real water samples was also carried out to confirm the practicability of the application.展开更多
