ART can help the astronauts to carry out the bench press training in the microgravity environment. Firstly, a dynamic model of cable driven unit(CDU) was established whose accuracy was verified through the model identification. Secondly, to improve the accuracy and the speed of the active loading, an active loading hybrid force controller was proposed on the basis of the dynamic model of the CDU. Finally, the actual effect of the hybrid force controller was tested by simulations and experiments. The results suggest that the hybrid force controller can significantly improve the precision and the dynamic performance of the active loading with the maximum phase lag of the active loading being 9° and the maximum amplitude error being 2% at the frequency range of 10 Hz. The controller can meet the design requirements.展开更多

This paper proposes a new theory of the structure of matter and the unification of the four forces. A correct understanding of the logic of material structure will enable atomic energy and nuclear physics to generate new manufacturing ideas. The dissertation expounds the natural distribution of dynamics and forces in space and the new deterministic theory of dynamic relationship. This theory solves problems such as the unity of the four forces and the dynamic laws of the material structure. In practical applications, it can provide new theoretical guidance for industrial manufacturing such as nuclear energy, fusion engineering, new energy, new materials, battery energy storage, new-generation reactors, etc., and then adopt effective means in line with the laws of natural power to make the substances needed by human beings. The supply of resources and energy is perfectly satisfied. Applying this theoretical model of material structure to all aspects of the manufacturing industry will surely open up a new era of material civilization for human beings.展开更多

This spacing often scales with layer thickness, and it decreases as extension increases until fracture saturation is reached. To increase the understanding of how these opening-mode fractures form in layered rocks, a series of 2D numerical simulations are performed to investigate the infilling process of fractures subjected to different driving forces. Numerical results illustrate that any one of the following could be considered as a driving force behind the propagation of infilling fractures: thermal effect, internal fluid pressure, direct extension loading, or pure compressive loading. Fracture spacing initially decreases with loading process, and at a certain ratio of fracture spacing to layer thickness, no new fractures nucleate (saturated). Both an increase in the opening of the infilled fractures and interface delamination are observed as mechanisms that accommodate additional strain. Interface debonding stops the transition of stress from the neighboring layers to the embedded central layer, which may preclude further infilling of new fractures. Whatever the driving force is, a large overburden stress and a large elastic contrast between the stiff and soft layers (referred to as a central or fractured layer and the top and bottom layers) are key factors favoring the development of tensile stress around the infilled fractures in the models. Fracture spacing is expected to decrease with increasing overburden stress. Numerical results highlight the fracturing process developed in heterogeneous and layered sedimentary rocks which provides supplementary information on the stress distribution and failure-induced stress redistribution., It also shows, in detail, the propagation of the fracture zone and the interaction of the fractures, which are impossible to observe in field and are difficult to consider with static stress analysis approaches.展开更多

For better understanding, the coupling elements of a beam matrix are interpreted in special forms that are products of a term defined by the Larmor rotation angle and another by the difference between the beam matrix elements in the two transverse planes. The coupling form originally derived from the rotationally symmetric field in solenoids still holds when taking into account the rotationally asymmetric space charge forces that are due to the unequal emittance in the two transverse planes. It is shown in this paper that when an LEBT mainly comprising solenoids transports a beam having unequal emittance in the two transverse planes and the linear space charge force is taken into account, the initial Twiss parameters can be modified to obtain the minimum and equal emittance at the LEBT exit. The TRACE3D calculations also prove the principle. However, when quadrupoles that are also rotationally asymmetric are involved in between solenoids, the coupling between the two transverse planes becomes more complicated and the emittance increase is usually unavoidable. A matching example using the CSNS (China Spallation Neutron Source) LEBT conditions is also presented.展开更多
