Applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in Information Technology System to Evaluate the Adoption of Decision Support System

With the beginning of the information systems’ spreading, people started thinking about using them for making business decisions. Computer technology solutions, such as the Decision Support System, make the decision-making process less complex and simpler for problem-solving. In order to make a high-quality business decision, managers need to have a great deal of appropriate information. Nonetheless, this complicates the process of making appropriate decisions. In a situation like that, the possibility of using DSS is quite logical. The aim of this paper is to find out the intended use of DSS for medium and large business organizations in USA by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Different models were developed in order to understand and predict the use of information systems, but the information systems community mostly used TAM to ensure this issue. The purpose of the research model is to determine the elements of analysis that contribute to these results. The sample for the research consisted of the target group that was supposed to have completed an online questionnaire about the manager’s use of DSS in medium and large American companies. The information obtained from the questionnaires was analyzed through the SPSS statistical software. The research has indicated that, this is primarily used due to a significant level of Perceived usefulness and For the Perceived ease of use.

基于LSTM-Informer模型的液压支架压力时空多步长预测

目前多步液压支架压力预测大多为单步液压支架压力的累计预测,单步累计次数越多,累计误差就越大,影响预测精度。针对该问题,提出了一种基于长短时记忆(LSTM)-Informer模型的液压支架压力时空多步长预测方法。采用卡尔曼滤波消除液压支架压力数据中的振动噪声后,在工作面端部和中部各选取相邻的5台液压支架压力数据建立2个时空数据集(数据集1和数据集2),并对时空数据进行标准化预处理。将时空数据输入LSTM模型提取时空特征,并将提取的时空特征输入Informer模型的编码器,经过位置编码后利用多头概率稀疏自注意力来关注压力序列的变化特征,经过最大池化和一维卷积消除最终输出特征图的冗余组合。利用多头概率稀疏自注意力来关注压力序列的变化特征,将Informer模型的解码器改为全连接层,得到液压支架压力的预测结果。实验结果表明:与基于门控循环单元(GRU)、LSTM和Informer模型的预测方法相比,基于LSTM-Informer模型的预测方法在预测6,12,24步长液压支架压力时的均方根误差(RMSE)和平均绝对误差(MAE)均最小;其中基于数据集1预测的6步长液压支架压力的RMSE分别降低了41.63%,49.74%,11.85%,MAE分别降低了41.75%,50.00%,12.00%;基于数据集2预测的6步长液压支架压力的RMSE分别降低了48.15%,59.86%,19.88%,MAE分别降低了49.87%,54.90%,13.16%。

Location Service Information Supporting System Based on Ontology

In order to solve the problem of how to collect and manage large amount of location information and improve the accuracy of location service, interactive information supporting system based on ontology and location service is presented in this paper. It can transmit special information about users＇ location to front-end instantaneously, so it is very convenient for their daily life. It makes full use of the available wireless communication, which is easy to arrange and convenient for users.

Design of Distributed Authentication Mechanism for Equipment Support Information Network

Considering the secure authentication problem for equipment support information network,a clustering method based on the business information flow is proposed. Based on the proposed method,a cluster-based distributed authentication mechanism and an optimal design method for distributed certificate authority( CA)are designed. Compared with some conventional clustering methods for network,the proposed clustering method considers the business information flow of the network and the task of the network nodes,which can decrease the communication spending between the clusters and improve the network efficiency effectively. The identity authentication protocols between the nodes in the same cluster and in different clusters are designed. From the perspective of the security of network and the availability of distributed authentication service,the definition of the secure service success rate of distributed CA is given and it is taken as the aim of the optimal design for distributed CA. The efficiency of providing the distributed certificate service successfully by the distributed CA is taken as the constraint condition of the optimal design for distributed CA. The determination method for the optimal value of the threshold is investigated. The proposed method can provide references for the optimal design for distributed CA.

Prediction of Ground Vibration Induced by Rock Blasting Based on Optimized Support Vector Regression Models

Accurately estimating blasting vibration during rock blasting is the foundation of blasting vibration management.In this study,Tuna Swarm Optimization(TSO),Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),and Cuckoo Search(CS)were used to optimize two hyperparameters in support vector regression(SVR).Based on these methods,three hybrid models to predict peak particle velocity(PPV)for bench blasting were developed.Eighty-eight samples were collected to establish the PPV database,eight initial blasting parameters were chosen as input parameters for the predictionmodel,and the PPV was the output parameter.As predictive performance evaluation indicators,the coefficient of determination(R2),rootmean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and a10-index were selected.The normalizedmutual information value is then used to evaluate the impact of various input parameters on the PPV prediction outcomes.According to the research findings,TSO,WOA,and CS can all enhance the predictive performance of the SVR model.The TSO-SVR model provides the most accurate predictions.The performances of the optimized hybrid SVR models are superior to the unoptimized traditional prediction model.The maximum charge per delay impacts the PPV prediction value the most.

An Integrated Information Retrieval Support System for Campus Network

This paper presents a new integrated information retrieval support system （IIRSS） which can help Web search engines retrieve cross-lingual information from hereto geneous resources stored in multi-databases in Intranet. The IIRSS, with a three-layer architecture, can cooperate with other application servers running in Intranet. By using intelligent agents to collect information and to create indexes on the-fly, using an access control strategy to confine a user to browsing those accessible documents for him/her through a single portal, and using a new cross-lingual translation tool to help the search engine retrieve documents, the new system provides controllable information access with different authorizations, personalized services, and real-time information retrieval.

Improvement of the nutritional support management system for patients in intensive care units

BACKGROUND Nutritional support for patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit(ICU)is an important part of clinical treatment and care,but there are significant implementation difficulties.AIM To introduce a modified nutritional support management system for ICU patients based on closed-loop information management and psychological counseling.METHODS The division of functions,personnel training,system construction,development of an intelligent decision-making software system,quality control,and improvement of the whole process were carried out to systematically manage nutritional support for ICU patients.RESULTS Following the implementation of the whole process management system,the scores of ICU medical staff’s knowledge,attitudes/beliefs,and practices regarding nutritional support were comprehensively enhanced.The proportion of hospital bed-days of total enteral nutrition(EN)in ICU patients increased from 5.58%to 11.46%,and the proportion of EN plus parenteral nutrition increased from 42.71%to 47.07%.The rate of EN initiation within 48 h of ICU admission increased from 37.50%to 48.28%,and the EN compliance rate within 72 h elevated from 20.59%to 31.72%.After the implementation of the project,the Self-rating Anxiety Scale score decreased from 61.07±9.91 points to 52.03±9.02 points,the Self-rating Depression Scale score reduced from 62.47±10.50 points to 56.34±9.83 points,and the ICU stay decreased from 5.76±2.77 d to 5.10±2.12 d.CONCLUSION The nutritional support management system based on closed-loop information management and psychological counseling achieved remarkable results in clinical applications in ICU patients.

PROBLEM-ORIENTED INFORMATION RETRIEVAL DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS

Decision Support Systems(DSS)are man-machine interaction systems,which support the de-cision-makers to solve the unstructured and semi-structured decisions,this paper advances that thefunction of problem-oriented information retrieval DSS can meet the needs of enterprise’s topmanagement effectively in comparison with other information retrieval functions,in accordancewith the features of supporting information for decision.An architecture of this system is presented,which dissolves a problem put forward or recognized by the user into the problem recognized by thecomputer,forming retrieval tactics and searching the data the user needs.Designed and developedaccording to the architecture of this system,a prototype system is introduced,which is CF Econom-ic Environment Information Retrieval DSS.

Accurate performance estimators for information retrieval based on span bound of support vector machines

Support vector machines have met with significant success in the information retrieval field, especially in handling text classification tasks. Although various performance estimators for SVMs have been proposed, these only focus on accuracy which is based on the leave-one-out cross validation procedure. Information-retrieval-related performance measures are always neglected in a kernel learning methodology. In this paper, we have proposed a set of information-retrieval-oriented performance estimators for SVMs, which are based on the span bound of the leave-one-out procedure. Experiments have proven that our proposed estimators are both effective and stable.

Distribution area demarcation for logistic centers under geographical information system decision support system

Demarcating distribution area of goods is often guided by the rule of thumb by business proprietors. However, this method seems to be unsuitable when the demand points increase to a certain large extent. The present work attempted to convert the problem of distribution area demarcation into a localized problem of warehouseing and networking, and tried to establish district-based planning mode based on location based heuristic (LBH). Two methods were used in this study: 1) the manual method to construct the mathematical model and conduct simulation; 2) the automatic method using TransCAD software of geographical information system (GIS) for simulation. By comparing the effects of the two methods, the research provides theoretical support for business proprietors to demarcate the distribution area rationally with the application of GIS system. The results show that GIS has very good graphics construction function to replace complex text, and the automatic demarcating mode with human-machine interaction provides a good business decision-making support.

Improving Information Technology Infrastructure Library Service Delivery Using an Integrated Lean Six Sigma Framework: A Case Study in a Software Application Support Scenario

Increasing competition in service businesses (eg: Information Technology, Healthcare, Education, Logistics, Distribution, Hospitality Financial and other services) is compelling corporates to adopt business improvement philosophies and methodologies for addressing customer demands for better quality service and organizational demands for improving the profit margins through cost reduction. Many companies around the world have already implemented Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) as a way to manage and control their Information Technology (IT) Departments more effectively. These companies are now willing to improve their ITIL processes in order to become even more efficient. Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that has been suggested as a means to resolve these problems, reducing costs and improving quality. Its application in the IT Services area is becoming increasingly popular among researchers and academicians and can be used to conduct these improvements. Despite the application of lean six sigma approaches to different contexts in the service sector, the application of Lean Six Sigma approaches in service delivery specific to Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) remains largely untested. The purpose of this paper is to implement Integrated Lean Six Sigma for Software application support services and evaluate the benefits of continual service improvement over ITIL.

Information Security Service Support-Helping End-Users Cope with Security

Organizations implement an information security program for the protection of their information assets. The success of such a program depends primarily on the effective implementation and execution of associated information security policies and controls. These policies and controls depend directly upon the resultant behavior and actions of end-users. Hence, end-users play a critical role in the effective implementation and running of an information security program in any organization. However, end-users are often unable to navigate and comprehend the various policies, controls and associated issues. Support to end-users is therefore a vital element, but is often neglected by present information security management systems. In the service industry, support to customers is established as an important determinant of customer perceived service quality. This paper applies the same philosophy to provide support to end-users, who are the customers of the Information Security Service.

An Examination on the Support of Library Information to the Construction of National Research Organizations

The country’s economic development determines the political and cultural status.At the present time,China’s rapid economic development has greatly improved the country’s international prominence.Although China has high economic and political achievements,China’s cultural soft power is still in a weak position.Cultural soft power is of great significance in improving the country’s overall national strength and international competitiveness.Research organizations are an important part of the country’s soft power and are of great significance to the strengthening of national soft power.Research organizations are the“peripheral brain”in the decision-making process of the government.National government agencies need democratic science in making decisions,and the adopted policy methods must have positive and effective outcomes on the people.Therefore,the national government agencies cannot achieve this without the help of research organizations.This resulted in the development and rising construction of research organizations.With the comprehensive development and construction of research organizations,whilst making progress,has also exposed several shortcomings.The construction of China’s research organizations requires various supports;especially the intelligence agencies and access to library information,which has a unique advantage in promoting the construction of research organizations[1].This paper first introduces the definition,classification and characteristics of a research organization.It will also provide a preliminary understanding of research organizations.The paper will then highlight and analyze the problems encountered by the research organization.Finally,through the grasp of the advantages of the library and intelligence agencies,a solution is proposed.

The Concept of Information Support for Bi-oresource and Ecosystem Research in the North-West Pacific: Theory and Practical Implementation

The first part of the article provides an overview of the theoretical evidence, the main provisions, and the implementation strategy of information support for bioresource and ecosystem research in the north-west Pacific, which has been conducted over the past 20 years in the Russian Far East Research Institute TINRO-Center. In short, the concept consists of a combination of the following four assertions: 1) For the steady and sustainable development of the Russian Far East, the entire Russian Federation and the Asia-Pacific Region in general, environmental, food, economic, and other security is required, which cannot be achieved without the rational use of bioresources based on the ecosystem approach to the management of aquatic bioresources. 2) For the inventory, appraisal, monitoring, forecasting of the state of and management the natural water resources when applying this approach, statistically relevant quantitative information is required on the greatest possible number of constituents of marine biocenosis of the north-western Pacific for the longest possible period of time, which is only available at the TINRO-Center. 3) This valuable data should be organized into databases, based on which geo-information and other electronic information systems are prepared, and based on these map atlases and reference books on natural water resources, using automated workplaces created especially for this. 4) The resulting unique information support will be of great value not only for practical purposes, but also for science, both applied and fundamental. Next comes a summary of the many years of work on the practical implementation of this concept and the key achievements in this field obtained by the TINRO-Center by the end of 2015 are reviewed. At the end, some plans for the near future are outlined.

Designing a Teaching Website for Early Warning Technology Support Specialty Based on Information Architecture

With the advancement of education informatization,learning through the internet has become a very important approach.Existing teaching websites generally have problems such as low accuracy of information grouping and obvious disconnection between the navigation system and content.Based on information architecture,a teaching website for early warning technical support specialty is designed in this paper from four aspects:content organization,identification,navigation,and interaction.The unification of information processing and information requirements is achieved using this method,which improves the quality of professional course construction for early warning technology support specialty.

Mining association rules in incomplete information systems

Based on the rough set theory which is a powerful tool in dealing with vagueness and uncertainty, an algorithm to mine association rules in incomplete information systems was presented and the support and confidence were redefined. The algorithm can mine the association rules with decision attributes directly without processing missing values. Using the incomplete dataset Mushroom from UCI machine learning repository, the new algorithm was compared with the classical association rules mining algorithm based on Apriori from the number of rules extracted, testing accuracy and execution time. The experiment results show that the new algorithm has advantages of short execution time and high accuracy.

Information acquisition technology for small hydropower stations in remote areas based on high-and low-orbit satellites

With a lack of coverage in private and public power communication networks,especially for collection of information from hydropower stations in remote areas,communication coverage is a significant issue.Satellite communication provides a large coverage area suitable for a variety of services and is less affected by geographical factors;moreover,the costs are independent of the communication distance.This study investigates information acquisition technology for small hydropower stations in remote areas using high-and low-orbit satellites.The information collection needs of small hydropower stations in remote areas are analyzed,and an information acquisition system is designed using high-and low-orbit satellites.For network security protection,network anomaly detection technology based on a support vector machine algorithm is proposed.The effectiveness of information collection was evaluated and verified for small hydropower plants in remote areas.The system provides technical support for“full coverage,full collection,and full monitoring”of the measurement automation information acquisition system.
