Material,energy and spatial fields for metallogenic prediction:Theory and practice An example:Limu Sn polymetallic crisis mines

The Limu tin deposits located in the Nanling tin and tungsten-polymetallic ore belt are now facing resource depletion after decades of exploitation.Peripheral mineral exploration therefore has become an urgent task.Using mineral exploration around the Limu crisis mines as an example,we introduce a breakthrough method of how the three-field theory,i.e.,the material,energy and spatial fields,is applied to intensively studies areas,a history of years of mineral exploitation and complex ore-forming systems.Taking a cue from Limu regional metallogeny,we based our investigation on the metallogenic information from geology,geophysics,geochemistry and remote sensing.We conducted our study of the three-field integrated information system,associated with metallogenic prognoses from deposits,with assignments and calculations which correct and allocate synthetic metallogenic prognosis by relying on GIS.We submitted a synthetic metallogenic prognosis map of tin in Limu where we delineated three ore target areas.A breakthrough was achieved by finding about 4785 t of tin metal outside the Shiziling deposit,which has been confirmed by drilling.The successful application in Limu shows that this three-field theory is of scientific and practical importance and deserves to be extended to utilization. 展开更多

We theoretically study the selection of the quantum path in high-order harmonics(HHG) and isolated attosecond pulse generation from a one-dimensional(1D) model of a H_2~+ molecule in few-cycle inhomogeneous laser fields.We show that the inhomogeneity of the laser fields play an important role in the HHG process.The cutoff of the harmonics can be extended remarkably,and the harmonic spectrum becomes smooth and has fewer modulations.We investigate the time-frequency profile of the time-dependent dipole,which shows that the short quantum path is enhanced and the long quantum path disappears in spatially inhomogeneous fields.The semi-classical three-step model is also applied to illustrate the physical mechanism of HHG.The influence of driving field carrier-envelop phase(CEP) on HHG is also discussed.By superposing a series of properly selected harmonics,an isolated attosecond pulse(IAP) with duration 53 as can be obtained by a 15-fs,1600-nm laser pulse with the parameter ε = 0.0013(e is the parameter that determines the order of inhomogeneity of the laser field). 展开更多

This paper systematically studies the flashover probability of wind turbine blade lightning arrester and the impact of strong electromagnetic pulses on the local and surrounding wind turbines during lightning strikes.The research results indicate that the flashover probability of direct lightning strikes by the wind turbine blade lightning arrester is almost negligible,and the strong electromagnetic pulse of wind turbine blade during lightning strikes has a serious impact on the electronic equipment of the machine,while the impact on the surrounding wind turbine is relatively small.At the same time,the calculation formula for the reflection of lightning current on the carbon brush between the wind turbine hub and the engine compartment during the flashing of the wind turbine blades is provided,and the calculation method for calculating the spatial gradient distribution of electromagnetic field intensity using Biot-Savart Law theorem is applied.The limitations of using wind turbine blades for lightning protection are pointed out,and a technical route for achieving wind turbine lightning safety is proposed,which can be used as a reference for wind turbine lightning protection technicians. 展开更多

The effect of multiple rescattering processes on the harmonic emission from He atom in a spatially inhomogeneous field is discussed by solving the one-dimensional time-dependent Schrtdinger equation and the classical equation of motion. By establishing the physical model of the harmonic emission in the inhomogeneous field, we discuss the related characters of the multiple rescatterings process in the harmonic generation process. It shows that the second rescattering rather than the first rescattering tends to determine the harmonic cutoff energy when the inhomogeneous parameter is larger than 0.0055. Additionally, with the classica/simulation, the underlying physical mechanism of the continuum-continuum harmonics is also revealed. Moreover, this work may provide new physical insight into the harmonic generation in an inhomogeneous field, and is beneficial to further extract the harnaonic emission from molecular systems. 展开更多

The horizontal-longitudinal correlation of acoustic field for the receiver near the bottom is analyzed by using nu- merical modeling. An approximate analytical solution of horizontal-longitudinal correlation coefficient is derived based on the ray method. Combining the characteristic of Lloyd's mirror interference pattern, the variability of acoustic field and its effect on horizontal-longitudinal spatial correlation are discussed. The theoretical pre- diction agrees well with the numerical results. Experimental results confirm the validity of analytical solution. Finally, the applicability of the analytical solution is summarized. The conclusion is beneficial for the design of bottom-moored array and the estimation of integral time for moving source localization. 展开更多

The grid drop concept is introduced and used to develop a micromechanism-based methodology for calculating watershed flow concentration. The flow path and distance traveled by a grid drop to the outlet of the watershed are obtained using a digital elevation model (DEM). Regarding the slope as an uneven carpet through which the grid drop passes, a formula for overland flow velocity differing from Manning's formula for stream flow as welt as Darcy's formula for pore flow is proposed. Compared with the commonly used unit hydrograph and isochronal methods, this new methodology has outstanding advantages in that it considers the influences of the slope velocity field and the heterogeneity of spatial distribution of rainfall on the flow concentration process, and includes only one parameter that needs to be calibrated. This method can also be effectively applied to the prediction of hydrologic processes in un-gauged basins. 展开更多

In this work,laser induced tungsten plasma has been investigated in the absence and presence of 0.6 T static transverse magnetic field at atmospheric pressure in air.The spectroscopic characterization of laser induced tungsten plasma was experimentally studied using space-resolved emission spectroscopy.The atomic emission lines of tungsten showed a significant enhancement in the presence of a magnetic field,while the ionic emission lines of tungsten presented little change.Temporal variation of the optical emission lines of tungsten indicated that the atomic emission time in the presence of a magnetic field was longer than that in the absence of a magnetic field,while no significant changes occurred for the ionic emission time.The spatial resolution of optical emission lines of tungsten demonstrated that the spatial distribution of atoms and ions were separated.The influence of a magnetic field on the spatial distribution of atoms was remarkable,whereas the spatial distribution of ions was little influenced by the magnetic field.The different behaviors between ions and atoms with and without magnetic field in air were related to the various atomic processes especially the electrons and ions recombination process during the plasma expansion and cooling process. 展开更多

In this paper, we establish a mathematical model of the forest fire spread process based on a partial differential equation. We describe the distribution of time field and velocity field in the whole two-dimensional space by vector field theory. And we obtain a continuous algorithm to predict the dynamic behavior of forest fire spread in a short time. We use the algorithm to interpolate the fire boundary by cubic non-uniform rational B-spline closed curve. The fire boundary curve at any time can be simulated by solving the Eikonal equation. The model is tested in theory and in practice. The results show that the model has good accuracy and stability, and it’s compatible with most of the existing models, such as the elliptic model and the cellular automata model. 展开更多

The array spatial light field is an effective means for improving imaging speed in single-pixel imaging.However,distinguishing the intensity values of each sub-light field in the array spatial light field requires the help of the array detector or the time-consuming deep-learning algorithm.Aiming at this problem,we propose measurable speckle gradation Hadamard single-pixel imaging(MSG-HSI),which makes most of the refresh mechanism of the device generate the Hadamard speckle patterns and the high sampling rate of the bucket detector and is capable of measuring the light intensity fluctuation of the array spatial light field only by a simple bucket detector.The numerical and experimental results indicate that data acquisition in MSG-HSI is 4 times faster than in traditional Hadamard single-pixel imaging.Moreover,imaging quality in MSG-HSI can be further improved by image stitching technology.Our approach may open a new perspective for single-pixel imaging to improve imaging speed. 展开更多

The cultivation and development of modern metropolitan areas with the aim of establishing new regional centers with competitive edge is a key objective for the new-type urbanization directions in China.The construction of the Lhasa Metropolitan Area is of great significance for the promotion of the South Asia Channel,the‘Belt and Road’initiative,the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor,the Himalaya Economic Cooperation Zone,and for rapid development and long-term stability of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.This paper examines the scope of the Lhasa Metropolitan Area including Chengguanqu(Chengguan District),Doilungdeqen,Dagze,Lhunzhub,Damxung,Nyemo,Quxu,Maizhokunggar,Samzhubze Qu(Samzhubze District),Gyangze,Rinbung,Bainang,Nedong,Gonggar,and Zhanang using a spatial field energy model that combines nodality and accessibility indices and considers multiple indicators including traffic flow between cities.By combining factors such as the natural background,population agglomeration,the social economy,infrastructure construction,and the urban spatial structure of the Lhasa Metropolitan Area,it is proposed to build a bow-and-arrow-shaped urban system with‘one core,two centers,one axis,and two wings’along the valleys and the transportation trunk lines of the area.The study advocates the construction of a pure land industrial system comprising a green cultural and tourism-oriented plateau. 展开更多

According to the anti-phase sine current superposition theorem, the orientation, the magnetic flux density, the angular speed and the rotational direction of the spatial universal rotating magnetic field (SURMF) can be controlled within the tri-axial orthogonal square Helmholtz coils (TOSHC). Nevertheless, three coupling direction angles of the normal vector of the SURMF in the Descartes coordinate system cannot be separately controlled, thus the adjustment of the orientation of the SURMF is difficult and the flexibility of the robotic posture control is restricted. For the dimension reduction and the decoupling of control variables, the orthogonal transformation operation theorem of the SURMF is proposed based on two independent rotation angular variables, which employs azimuth and altitude angles as two variables of the three-phase sine current superposition formula derived by the orthogonal rotation inverse transformation. Then the unique control rules of the orientation and the rotational direction of the SURMF are generalized in each spatial quadrant, thus the scanning of the normal vector of the SURMF along the horizontal or vertical direction can be achieved through changing only one variable, which simplifies the control process of the orientation of the SURMF greatly. To validate its feasibility and maneuverability, experiments were conducted in the animal intestine utilizing the innovative dual hemisphere capsule robot (DHCR) with active and passive modes. It was demonstrated that the posture adjustment and the steering rolling locomotion of the DHCR can be realized through single variable control, thus the orthogonal transformation operation theorem makes the control of the orientation of the SURMF convenient and flexible significantly. This breakthrough will lay a foundation for the human-machine interaction control of the SURMF. 展开更多

This is called the chiral electric separation effect. The strong electromagnetic field and the QCD vacuum can both be completely produced in off-central nuclear-nuclear collision. We use the Woods-Saxon nucleon distribution to calculate the electric field distributions of off-central collisions. The chiral electric field spatial distribution at Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) and Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energy regions are systematically studied in this paper. The dependence of the electric field produced by the thermal quark in the central position with different impact parameters on the proper time with different collision energies in the RHIC and LHC energy regions are studied in this paper. 展开更多
