The aims of the study were to survey the views on spoken grammar in English (SGE) teaching of researchers, and to determine the importance of SGE teaching as well as the efficient ways to teach SGE. The difference between written and spoken grammar was identified and the linguistic features of spoken English that were analyzed were from the Cambridge Grammar of English Corpus. Findings from this study could raise the English language teachers’awareness of teaching SGE and help teachers to identify appropriate strategies to facilitate the learning of spoken English by Chinese learners.展开更多
