[Objectives]The extraction conditions of formula oolong tea were investigated by an orthogonal experiment.[Methods]The technical conditions were optimized by the 4C method,and the application of formula oolong tea extract in cigarettes was studied.[Results]①In the experimental range,the best sensory evaluation effect of formula oolong tea extract was obtained with extraction conditions of 70%ethanol as extraction solvent,extraction time h,extraction temperature 25℃,and ultrasonic frequency 80 kHz,and follow-up low-temperature concentration,low-temperature sedimentation and low-temperature centrifugation.②The effects of different centrifugal speeds on the quality of formula oolong tea extract were explored.The formula oolong tea extract obtained under the conditions of 3000 r/min and centrifugal time of 10 min showed the best evaluation effect with soft and delicate smoke,rich smoke fragrance,good comfort and refreshing mouthfeel.③The effective aroma components in the formula oolong tea extract were qualitatively analyzed by GC-MS.[Conclusions]This study provides high-quality raw materials and a theoretical basis for the research of independent flavor blending in cigarette industry enterprises. 展开更多

Objective:The transanal approach to specimen collection,combined with the prolapsing technique,is a wellestablished and minimally invasive surgery for treating rectal cancer.However,reports on outcomes for this approach are sparse.We compared short-and long-term outcomes of conventional laparoscopic surgery(CLS)vs.transanal natural orifice specimen extraction(NOSE)using the prolapsing technique for patients with middle-to low-rectal cancer.Methods:From January 2013 to December 2017,we enrolled consecutive patients with middle-to low-rectal cancer undergoing laparoscopic anterior resection.Totally,50 patients who underwent transanal NOSE using the prolapsing technique were matched with 50 patients who received CLS.Clinical parameters and survival outcomes between the two groups were compared.Results:Estimated blood loss(29.70±29.28 vs.52.80±45.09 mL,P=0.003),time to first flatus(2.50±0.79 vs.2.86±0.76,P=0.022),time to liquid diet(3.62±0.64 vs.4.20±0.76 d,P<0.001),and the need for analgesics(22%vs.48%,P=0.006)were significantly lower for the NOSE group compared to the CLS group.The incidences of overall complications and fecal incontinence were comparable in both groups.After a median follow-up of 44.52 months,the overall local recurrence rate(6%vs.5%,P=0.670),3-year disease-free survival(86.7%vs.88.0%,P=0.945)and 3-year overall survival(95.6%vs.96.0%,P=0.708),were not significantly different.Conclusions:For total laparoscopic rectal resection,transanal NOSE using the prolapsing technique is effective and safe,and associated with less trauma and pain,a faster recovery,and similar survival outcomes compared to CLS. 展开更多

Four techniques, Soxhlet extraction (SOX), ultrasonic extraction (USE), fluidized-bed extraction (FBE) and acce-lerated solvent extraction (ASE) with different solvents (methanol, hexane/acetone and acetonitrile) were used for theextraction of DDT analogues in sediments. Results revealed that the four extraction techniques had high recoveries (>86.0%) with low standard deviations (< 12.0%) for most of DDT analogues, meaning that they could all successfully extractDDT analogues in sediments. Accelerated solvent extraction using methanol and hexane/acetone (1:1), fluidized-bedextraction using hexane/acetone (1:1) and the ultrasonic extraction using hexane/acetone (1:1) were comparable or betterthan Soxhlet extraction using hexane/acetone (1:1). Considering solvent- and time-consumption, level of automation,and environmental risk, accelerated solvent extraction with hexane/acetone (1:1) was better than the other extractiontechniques. 展开更多

In recent years, photosynthetic microalgae regained attention for biodiesel production. For efficient utilization of microalgae, a number of criteria including a strain with high biomass and lipid productivities and employment of effective and reliable methods for oil extraction from the obtained biomass should be met. Recently, we have isolated and identified three thermo-resistant green microalgae strains, namely;Scenedesmus sp. ME02, Hindakia tetrachotoma ME03 and Mic-ractinium sp. ME05. In this study, we compared percent lipid content of thermos-tolerant mic-roalgal strains using the following solvent extraction methods: Soxhlet, Bligh and Dyer and Folch methods with or without assisted cell disruption techniques including lyophilization, homogenization, ultrasonication, bead and microwave-assisted. The highest increase in lipid yield was obtained with a combination of lyophilization and ultrasonication techniques together with Soxhlet method: 27% of total dry weight for Micractinium sp. ME05. We conclude that lyophilization and ultrasonication are effective assistance methods for lipid extraction from thermo-resistant microalgae. 展开更多

A series of changes occur in the remaining alveolar process after whole tooth extraction.The basic question is,why do the bony walls(especially the labial/buccal)get resorbed immediately after the tooth is removed?This could be because,with cementum of the concerned tooth and its periodontal ligament,the supporting bundle bone is dependent on the presence of the tooth.This loss can be compensated using numerous techniques,such as socket grafting using various biomaterials to preserve the alveolar bone and buccal grafting with guided tissue regeneration to increase the thickness of buccal bone or placement of implant immediately.However,none of these techniques prevent the modelling of the alveolar bone post-extraction.Few studies have demonstrated that preservation of the roots in the alveolar process maintains the bone volume and facilitates vertical bone growth.A histological study in animals and humans has shown that the retained root shell does not pose any interference in the osseointegration of the implant(if placed simultaneously).Although various names have been proposed to describe the concept of retaining full or part of the root to prevent the resorption of the ridge,socket-shield and pontic-shield are the two most commonly used terms worldwide.The extraction of the whole tooth might be the choice of therapy when socket-shield or pontic-shield is not possible due to anatomical variations,infections,or lack of clinical expertise.Irrespective of the size,when a whole root or a root fragment(is left in situ),it is the dentist’s ethical duty to advise/inform the patient and ensure repeated clinical and radiographic follow-up.The present study aimed to highlight the current status of these techniques,their benefits,and possible complications and address whether the paradigm of the teeth extraction methods should be altered. 展开更多

Background: The over-ambitious use of surgical drills for almost every case of third molar impaction is on the increase in most established oral surgery centers. The purpose of this study was to assess and compare the severity of post operative symptoms of swelling and pain that accompany the use of surgical drill in the buccal guttering technique and the non application of drill in an alveolar expansion technique. Methods: Consecutive patients with bilateral impacted lower third molars not associated with pericoronitis were included in the study, a total of 10 patients were included in the study. Extraction of both impacted third molars was done consecutively on the same day under local anaesthesia. Post operative morbidities that were assessed clinically are swelling and pain. Results: A total of 10 patients, 70% were females and males were 30%. Age range was 27 - 35 yrs.Out of the eight patients that had the two different techniques, 7 preferred the use of the alveolar expansion technique in which drill was not used. There were statistically significant differences in swellings between these two techniques, (p 0.01). Conclusions: To avoid excessive swelling and pain from over-ambitious cut-ting of soft tissues and drilling of bone, alveolar expansion technique should be considered first in pa-tients with less dense bone. 展开更多

The data for the two decades, DNA Extraction from Insects by Using Different Techniques was compiled through a thorough review of many research articles published in various journals of international repute. Insects are very important economically and ecologically for human due to their various roles, as pests, decomposer in nutrition cycle, vector for the transmission of certain diseases and a source of medically and economically important products. To identify insect, and for research on their role, different molecular techniques are used. For each molecular technique, high quality DNA is required, which is extracted from the insects by different techniques. The selection of DNA extraction technique is depended upon specimen under study, time required for extraction, economical stander of technique due to reagents and equipment used for extraction and most importantly extracted DNA quality. In this paper, most frequently used techniques for DNA extraction from insect with different size and condition are outlined. A direct analysis method combining an iminodiacetate extraction disk (IED) with graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry was developed for the determination of Co, Ni, Cu, Cd, Sn, Pb, and Bi at sub-ppb levels in water. A 100 mL water sample was adjusted to pH 5.6 with nitric acid and a 1 mol?L–1 ammonium acetate solution, and then passed through an IED (diameter, 47 mm;effective filtering diameter, 35 mm) at a flow rate of 80 - 100 mL?min–1 to preconcentrate seven analytes. The IED was dried at 100?C for 20 min in an electric oven, and 110 - 145 small disks, each 2 mm in diameter, were punched out from the IED. A small disk was introduced into the graphite furnace and atomized according to a heating program. For Cd, Sn, Pb, and Bi measurements, Pd was used as a chemical modifier to enhance the absorbances. Calibration was performed using aqueous standard solutions. The detection limits, corresponding to three times the standard deviation (n = 5) of the blank values, were 0.092 μg·L–1 for Co, 0.12 μg·L–1 for Ni, 0.40 μg·L–1 for Cu, 0.077 μg·L–1 for Cd, 0.92 μg·L–1 for Sn, 0.61 μg·L–1 for Pb, and 0.80 μg·L–1 for Bi with an enrichment factor of 140 using a 100-mL water sample. A spike test for the seven analytes in tap water, rainwater, river water, and mineral drinking water showed quantitative recoveries (93% - 108%). 展开更多

Testicular sperm extraction is a common procedure used to find spermatogenic cells in men with nonobstructive azoospermia. The laboratory processing of biopsied testicular tissues needs to be performed meticulously to acquire a high yield of cells. In this study, the effectiveness of mincing the tissues after testicular biopsy was assessed using histological evaluation, as was the possible adverse effect of residual tissue on the migration of spermatogenic cells during density gradient centrifugation. Our results indicate that testicular residual tissue, when laid on the density gradient medium along with the sperm wash, hinders the spermatogenic cells' forming a pellet during centrifugation, and therefore impairs the intracytoplasmic sperm injection procedure. Whereas the mean number of recovered cells from the sperm wash medium (SWM) with residual tissue is 39.435 ~ 24.849, it was notably higher (60.189 ~ 28.214 cells) in the SWM without minced tissues. The remaining tissue contained no functional seminiferous tubules or spermatogenic cells in histological sections. In conclusion, the remaining residual tissue after mincing biopsied testicular tissue does not add any functional or cellular contribution to spermatogenic cell retrieval; in fact, it may block the cellular elements in the accompanying cell suspension from migrating through the gradient layers to form a pellet during centrifugation and cause loss of spermatogenic cells. 展开更多

Image steganography is a technique of concealing confidential information within an image without dramatically changing its outside look.Whereas vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs),which enable vehicles to communicate with one another and with roadside infrastructure to enhance safety and traffic flow provide a range of value-added services,as they are an essential component of modern smart transportation systems.VANETs steganography has been suggested by many authors for secure,reliable message transfer between terminal/hope to terminal/hope and also to secure it from attack for privacy protection.This paper aims to determine whether using steganography is possible to improve data security and secrecy in VANET applications and to analyze effective steganography techniques for incorporating data into images while minimizing visual quality loss.According to simulations in literature and real-world studies,Image steganography proved to be an effectivemethod for secure communication on VANETs,even in difficult network conditions.In this research,we also explore a variety of steganography approaches for vehicular ad-hoc network transportation systems like vector embedding,statistics,spatial domain(SD),transform domain(TD),distortion,masking,and filtering.This study possibly shall help researchers to improve vehicle networks’ability to communicate securely and lay the door for innovative steganography methods. 展开更多

基于响应面法优化芡实多糖提取工艺及其体外抗氧化研究

采用单因素实验和响应面法对芡实多糖的浸提工艺进行优化,并探讨其体外抗氧化活性。以芡实多糖提取率为指标,分别考察浸提温度、浸提时间、料液比、pH和乙醇浓度5个单因素对芡实多糖提取率的影响。通过响应面法对4个主要工艺参数进行优... 采用单因素实验和响应面法对芡实多糖的浸提工艺进行优化,并探讨其体外抗氧化活性。以芡实多糖提取率为指标,分别考察浸提温度、浸提时间、料液比、pH和乙醇浓度5个单因素对芡实多糖提取率的影响。通过响应面法对4个主要工艺参数进行优化,得到芡实多糖最佳提取工艺条件为浸提温度95℃,浸提时间5.3 h,料液比1∶24 g/mL,乙醇浓度93%。在最佳提取工艺条件下,芡实多糖提取率为0.65%。体外抗氧化活性结果表明,在0.1~10.0mg/mL范围内,芡实多糖具有较好的体外抗氧化性能,芡实多糖对DPPH自由基、超氧阴离子和羟基自由基的最大清除能力分别为82.10%、58.91%和71.07%,芡实多糖也具有较好的总还原力。该研究结果可为创制以芡实多糖为主要原料的功能食品和营养补充剂提供理论基础。 展开更多
