The proposed scheme is implemented physically by using Ganssian-modulated squeezed states. The deterministic char- acteristic, i.e., no basis reconciliation between two parties, leads a nearly two-time efficiency comparing to the standard quantum key distribution schemes. Especially, the separate control mode does not need in the proposed scheme so that it is simpler and more available than previous ping-pong schemes. The attacker may be detected easily through the fidelity of the transmitted signal, and may not be successful in the beam splitter attack strategy.展开更多

Our system consists of a nanomeehanical resonator, a superconducting flux qubit, and a superconducting transmission line resonator. Using our proposal, one can easily generate the squeezed states of the nanomechanical resonator. In our scheme, the nonlinear interaction between the nanomechanical resonator and the superconducting transmission line resonator can be implemented by the flux qubit as 'nonlinear media' with a tunable Josephson energy. The realization of the nonlinearity does not need any operations on the flux qubit and just needs to adiabatically keep it at the ground state, which can greatly decrease the effect of the decoherenee of the flux qubit on the squeezed ef^ciency.展开更多

Some new completeness relations about these squeezed states composed of the bra and ket which are not mutually Hermitian conjugates are obtained. Furthermore, the antibunching effects of the two-mode squeezed vacuum state S's(τ) │00) are investigated. It is found that, in different ranges of the squeezed parameter τ, both modes of the state exhibit the antibunching effects and the two modes of the state are always nonclassical correlation.展开更多

In the scheme a sequence of three-level -type atoms interacts with a cavity field, displaced by a classical source, in a Raman manner. Then the atomic states are measured. By this way the cavity field may collapse onto a superposition of several coherent states, which exhibits strong squeezing. The scheme can also be used to prepare superpositions of many two-mode coherent states for two cavity fields. The coherent states in each mode are on a straight line. This is the first way for preparing multi-component entangled coherent states of this type in cavity QED.展开更多

The nonlinear interaction between the STLR and the CPB can be implemented by setting the external biased flux of the CPB at some certain points. The interaction Hamiltonian between the STLR and the NMR is derived by performing Fr ohlich transformation on tile total Hamiltonian of tile combined system. Just by adiabatically keeping the CPB at the ground state, we get the standard parametric down-conversion Hamiltonian, and the squeezed states of the STLR can be easily generated, which is similar to the three-wave mixing in quantum optics.展开更多
