Limit point buckling of a finite beam on a nonlinear foundation

In this paper, we consider an imperfect finite beam lying on a nonlinear foundation, whose dimensionless stiffness is reduced from 1 to k as the beam deflection increases. Periodic equilibrium solutions are found analytically and are in good agreement with a numerical resolution, suggesting that localized buckling does not appear for a finite beam. The equilibrium paths may exhibit a limit point whose existence is related to the imperfection size and the stiffness parameter k through an explicit condition. The limit point decreases with the imperfection size while it increases with the stiffness parameter. We show that the decay/growth rate is sensitive to the restoring force model. The analytical results on the limit load may be of particular interest for engineers in structural mechanics. 展开更多

在传统连续潮流算法中,发电机无功限制采用定上、下限值来处理,随着有功负荷增加,无功限值通常不变,得到的电压稳定裕度偏大。根据同步发电机的无功出力特性,提出同时计及发电机励磁电流约束和电枢电流约束的连续潮流模型和方法。当相... 在传统连续潮流算法中,发电机无功限制采用定上、下限值来处理,随着有功负荷增加,无功限值通常不变,得到的电压稳定裕度偏大。根据同步发电机的无功出力特性,提出同时计及发电机励磁电流约束和电枢电流约束的连续潮流模型和方法。当相应参数越限时,将发电机节点转换为励磁恒定模型或者电枢电流恒定模型进行计算。所提PV、PEq、PIa节点类型双向转换逻辑可在潮流迭代内进行发电机限制模式的转换,模拟实际系统无功能力的变化。分岔点类型识别模块可以识别崩溃点类型及关键约束。通过新英格兰39节点算例的仿真,证明所提算法是有效的。 展开更多

In the framework of inductive limits of partially ordered locally convex spaces, the notions of lastingly efficient points, lastingly weakly efficient points and lastingly globally properly efficient points are introduced. For several ordering cones, the notion of non-conflict is introduced. Under the requirement that the sequence (Sn)n∈N of ordering cones is non-conflicting, an existence theorem on lastingly weakly efficient points is presented. Both the long-life and multi-mode versions of LIPS-200 ion thruster are under investigation in LIP(Lanzhou Institute of Physics).To confirm the feasible ranges of the beam current and accel(abbreviation for accelaration)grid potential to apply to the thruster,the wide-range beam perveance(the state of beam focus)and saddle point potential(the lowest potential along beamlet centerline)characteristics of LIPS-200 are studied with a test-verified PIC-MCC(Particle in Cell-Monte Carlo Collisions)model.These characteristics are investigated with both the initial and the eroded states of the accel grid aperture diameter.The results show that the feasible ranges of these parameters with respect to perveance/crossover(overfocused)limit extend as the operating time accumulates,while the feasible range of accel grid potential narrows due to a reduced EBSF(electron backstreaming failure)margin.The feasible ranges determined by the initial condition are:(i)the beam current up to 0.981 A,and(ii)the accel grid potential up to−85 V.A 23%enlargement of the aperture diameter would bring up to 48 V of EBSF margin loss. 展开更多

Sparrow criterion of resolution is used for assessment of the resolution of two object points of apodized optical systems under incoherent illumination of light. Semicircular arrays of circular aperture with discrete asymmetric apodization have suppressed side-lobes and a narrower central peak in the image plane termed as PSF good side on alternatively the right and left of the strong spectral point facilitates to detect the presence of weak spectral point in the vicinity of bright spectral point. The results of investigations on optimum discrete pupil function with semicircular arrays on the intensity distributions in the composite image of two object points with widely varying in their intensities under various degree of coherence of illumination have been studied. Sparrow resolution limits and the dip in central intensity as function of degree of coherence of the illumination (γ), intensity ratio (α), degree of asymmetric apodization (b) and number of discrete elements in semicircular array (n). The efficiency of aperture functions is discussed in terms of these parameters. Pupil function capabilities in redistribution of energy in composite image of two object points in close vicinity have been verified for different considerations. Current study has found an improvement in two-point resolution characteristics compared to their unapodized counter part. Fourier analytical properties of an optical system are presented for evaluation of this practical problem. 展开更多

A PI control strategy based on fuzzy set-point weighting following was proposed for the active damping control of a hydraulic crane boom system (HCBS). Two valve-controlled PI controllers, which include a proportional feedforward controller based on fuzzy set-point weighting following and a limited semi-integrator(LSI), are designed respectively. LSI is used to limit output signal and to prevent wind up at the low frequency of the spectrum. By using a range camera and an electronic feedback control, the tip damping on the HCBS can be adjusted artificially. A collaborative control simulation technique of HOPSAN and MATLAB/SIMULINK is applied to the controller design. Simulation results show that the proposed PI control system has less overshoot as well as faster response. The tip damping on the HCBS during operation is improved. 展开更多

开展岩质边坡三维稳定性分析方法研究具有重要的理论意义和工程应用前景。常规的等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数来分析岩质边坡的稳定性,不能准确反映岩体材料强度包线呈非线性分布的特征,计算结果偏于保守。建议了一种逐点等效Mohr-Coulomb... 开展岩质边坡三维稳定性分析方法研究具有重要的理论意义和工程应用前景。常规的等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数来分析岩质边坡的稳定性,不能准确反映岩体材料强度包线呈非线性分布的特征,计算结果偏于保守。建议了一种逐点等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数替代常规的等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数,通过构造滑面上的正应力分布,滑面上各点的等效黏聚力和等效内摩擦角则随着滑面正应力分布而逐点变化。在此基础上,将逐点等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数方法和基于滑面正应力修正的极限平衡法相结合,提出了一种基于构造滑面正应力分布的岩质边坡三维稳定性分析方法。算例表明该方法计算结果与已有方法相印证,适用于任意空间滑面形态。与常规等效Mohr-Coulomb强度参数相比,该方法得到稳定性系数显著偏低。进一步将该方法应用于某露天矿边坡的整体稳定性评价,效果理想,并被工程单位所采纳。该方法结果可靠,计算过程简单且易于编程,可为岩质边坡工程稳定性评价提供理论参考。 展开更多

基于零模型的腾格里沙漠东南缘固定沙地种群点格局分析

植物种群空间分布格局是种群生物学特性、种内或种间关系以及与环境因子综合作用的结果。明确植物空间分布格局对认识植物生态适应性与多样性维持机制具有重要意义。本研究选择腾格里沙漠东南缘30~40年固定沙地,基于点格局的完全空间随... 植物种群空间分布格局是种群生物学特性、种内或种间关系以及与环境因子综合作用的结果。明确植物空间分布格局对认识植物生态适应性与多样性维持机制具有重要意义。本研究选择腾格里沙漠东南缘30~40年固定沙地,基于点格局的完全空间随机模型、泊松聚块模型和嵌套双聚块模型分析并检验了小画眉草、狗尾草、虎尾草、猪毛菜、雾冰藜5种常见植物种群空间分布格局。结果表明:种群密度大小排序为:小画眉草>狗尾草>虎尾草>雾冰藜>猪毛菜。完全空间随机模型下,小画眉草种群在0~1000 cm尺度呈现出从聚集分布过渡到均匀分布,再转换为聚集分布的变化规律;其余4个物种在0~295 cm尺度表现为聚集分布,且聚集分布尺度随种群密度降低而降低。泊松聚块模型下,小画眉草、雾冰藜和猪毛菜物种在0~35 cm尺度内表现为聚集分布,其他尺度为随机分布;而狗尾草和虎尾草种群分别在0~55 cm、405~835 cm和0~75 cm、465~945 cm尺度表现为聚集分布,其他尺度均随机分布。嵌套双聚块模型下,5个物种在0~1000 cm尺度基本呈现随机分布,即在大聚块中都分布着小聚块。综合3种模型的检验结果,种子扩散限制、灌木的“沃岛”效应和藻结皮特性引起的微生境异质性共同决定了腾格里沙漠东南缘30~40年固沙区植被空间多聚块分布特征。 展开更多

极限分析的高效数值计算方法在结构设计和安全评定中具有非常重要的作用.为了更加有效地求解极限分析问题,将区域光滑径向点插值法与二阶锥规划相结合,提出了理想弹塑性结构极限下限分析的一种新方法.将问题域离散为简单的三角形背景单... 极限分析的高效数值计算方法在结构设计和安全评定中具有非常重要的作用.为了更加有效地求解极限分析问题,将区域光滑径向点插值法与二阶锥规划相结合,提出了理想弹塑性结构极限下限分析的一种新方法.将问题域离散为简单的三角形背景单元,每个单元进一步划分成若干个光滑域.为了将复杂的域积分转化为简单的边界积分,并且避免计算形函数的导数,采用广义梯度光滑技术对每个光滑域进行应变光滑处理.由于径向点插值法构造的形函数满足Kronecker delta性质,本质边界条件可以直接施加.依据下限定理,在满足以等效积分弱形式表达的自平衡应力场平衡条件的基础上,用二阶锥规划成功构建了极限分析下限法的计算模型,从而可方便地通过基于原始-对偶内点法的数学规划求解器MOSEK直接求解该问题.数值算例结果表明,本文所提方法有效地克服了维数障碍问题,具有较高的计算精度,并且计算结果对网格畸变十分不敏感. 展开更多
