High-resolution STM images give a detailed picture of the lowest unocc...The adsorption and electronic properties of isolated cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc) molecule on an ultrathin layer of NaC1 have been investigated. High-resolution STM images give a detailed picture of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of an isolated CoPc. It is shown that the NaC1 ultrathin layer efficiently decouples the interaction of the molecules from the underneath metal substrate, which makes it an ideal substrate for studying the properties of single molecules. Moreover, strong dependence of the appearance of the molecules on the sample bias in the region of relatively high bias (〉 3.1 V) is ascribed to the image potential states (IPSs) of NaCI/Cu(100), which may provide us with a possible method to fabricate quantum storage devices.展开更多
The autoionization branching ratios from Eu 4f76p1/26 d [J] autoionizing states to its 4f76s+(9So), 4f76s+(7So), and4f75d+(9Do) final ionic states are investigated with the combination of the three-step laser excitati...The autoionization branching ratios from Eu 4f76p1/26 d [J] autoionizing states to its 4f76s+(9So), 4f76s+(7So), and4f75d+(9Do) final ionic states are investigated with the combination of the three-step laser excitation and the velocity-map imaging technique. These different autoionizing states are excited via 4f76s6d8 DJ [J = 5/2, 7/2, and 9/2] intermediate states, respectively. The experimental photoelectron images are obtained, from which energy distributions of ejected electrons are achieved with the mathematical transformation. Furthermore, the energy dependence of the branching ratio is investigated within the autoionization resonance, by which population inversion is observed as an important characteristic.The J-dependence is also studied systematically. The validity of the well-known isolated core excitation technique used for obtaining the autoionization spectrum is also studied.展开更多
Based on a large amount of dissection at welded interface and quantitative microscopic examination of welded rate, the suitable limit grey scale value was determined, and the welded rate of superplastic solid state w...Based on a large amount of dissection at welded interface and quantitative microscopic examination of welded rate, the suitable limit grey scale value was determined, and the welded rate of superplastic solid state welding interface of heterogeneous steel was systematically studied by means of self made ultrasonic C scanning imaging inspection system. The experimental results show: the welded state of superplastic solid state welding interface of heterogeneous steel can be conducted to be more accurately, reliably and quickly inspected by means of this system, and the ultrasonic testing results are good consistent with actual examination results of the interface defective distribution. Within the extent of the suitble welded rate,the welded rate in 40Cr/T10A superplastic welding process tested by this system is linear with its tensile strength of joint.展开更多

In this minireview article different pancreatic imaging techniques are discussed, from the standard clinical imaging modalities and state of the art clinical magnetic resonance imaging techniques to current situations in pre-clinical pancreatic imaging studies. Regional homogeneity(ReHo)and the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation(ALFF)are two approaches to depicting different regional characteristics of resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(RS-fMRI)dat...Regional homogeneity(ReHo)and the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation(ALFF)are two approaches to depicting different regional characteristics of resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(RS-fMRI)data.Whether they can complementarily reveal brain regional functional abnormalities in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)remains unknown.In this study,we applied ReHo and ALFF to 23 medication-na ve boys diagnosed with ADHD and 25 age-matched healthy male controls using whole-brain voxel-wise analysis.Correlation analyses were conducted in the ADHD group to investigate the relationship between the regional spontaneous brain activity measured by the two approaches and the clinical symptoms of ADHD.We found that the ReHo method showed widely-distributed differences between the two groups in the fronto-cingulo-occipitocerebellar circuitry,while the ALFF method showed a difference only in the right occipital area.When a larger smoothing kernel and a more lenient threshold were used for ALFF,more overlapped regions were found between ALFF and ReHo,and ALFF even found some new regions with group differences.The ADHD symptom scores were correlated with the ReHo values in the right cerebellum,dorsal anterior cingulate cortex and left lingual gyrus in the ADHD group,while no correlation was detected between ALFF and ADHD symptoms.In conclusion,ReHo may be more sensitive to regional abnormalities,at least in boys with ADHD,than ALFF.And ALFF may be complementary to ReHo in measuring local spontaneous activity.Combination of the two may yield a more comprehensive pathophy-siological framework for ADHD.展开更多
