By way of combining statistic damage model and viscoelastic model, uni-axial and multi-axial constitutive models of statically loaded rock experiencing dynamic load (static-dynamic coupling constitutive model) under intermediate strain rate are established. The verification experiment on 2D constitutive model under different static stress and dynamic stress with different frequencies is designed and performed. It is found that there is a good agreement between the experimental stress-strain curves and the theoretical stress-strain curves.展开更多

The commonly encountered concrete models such as Modified Kent-Park, Saatçioğlu-Razvi, and Mander are considered. Two moment-resisting frames designed according to thepre-modern code are taken into consideration to reflect the example of an RC moment-resisting frame in thecurrent building stock. The building is in an earthquake-prone zone located on Z3 Soil Type. The inelasticresponse of the building frame is modelled by considering the plastic hinges formed on each beam and columnelement for different concrete classes and stirrups spacings. The models are subjected to non-linear static analyses. The differences between confined concrete models are comparatively investigated at both reinforced concretemember and system levels. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, it is revealed that the column behaviouris mostly influenced by the choice of model, due to axial loads and confinement effects, while the beams areless affected, and also it is observed that the differences exhibited in the moment-curvature response of columncross-sections do not significantly affect the overall behaviour of the global system. This highlights the critical roleof model selection relative to the concrete strength and stirrup spacing of the member.展开更多

In this study, an algorithm, named spherical core stratification algorithm, for three-dimensional modeling of spherical aluminum foam was proposed, and by using this algorithm, a three-dimensional model for sphere aluminum foam with random pores has been successfully constructed. The constructed model not only has a high similarity with the real structure of spherical open cell aluminum foam, but also can match its pore size and thickness by adjusting the size and number of holes in the random pore. In order to verify the feasibility of the modeling method, firstly, the three-dimensional model of the cylindrical spherical aluminum foam with a size of Φ35 mm × 20 mm and pore diameter of 5 mm has been generated by using the new algorithm. Secondly, taking the influence of relative density and shape function on the compressive properties of spherical open cell aluminum foams into consideration, a quasi-static constitutive model suitable for the material has been established based on the Sherwood-Frost classical compression constitutive model, which provides material parameters for quasi-static compression simulation. The comparison results show that the established constitutive equation has a good fit with the experiment, with a fitting correlation coefficient of above 0.99. Finally, the quasi-static compression simulation was carried out by ABAQUS, and the simulated nominal stress-strain curve was obtained. The simulation results indicate that the simulated stressstrain curve had the same trend with the one obtained by the quasi-static compression experiment with a small deviation.展开更多

Further, it is investigated that in a non-linear duopoly with differentiated goods and two different policies, firms may earn more profit if they choose a quantity policy in a stable economy when the marginal production cost of both the firms is the same. If the production cost of both firms is different, then the price policy is better only when the firm is efficient.展开更多
