It is explicitly demonstrated that the universe expansion history (transition from inflation to decelerationepoch to acceleration and effective quintessence era) may naturally occur in such unified theory for some classes of inversescalar potentials. Besides a decaying effective cosmological constant, the model incorporates an increasing black holemass, an increasing Maxwellian electrical charge with cosmic time and a time-dependent brane tension. The cosmologicalmodel exhibits several features of cosmological and astrophysical interest for both the early and late universe consistentwith recent observations, in particular the ones concerned with the gravitational constants, black holes masses andcharges and variation of the gauge coupling parameters with cosmic time. One interesting mark of the constructedmodel concerns the fact that a black hole mass surrounded by quintessence energy may increase with time even if thehorizon disappears.展开更多

The ...Novelthree-dimensionalstring and ball-like titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide, TiO_2/rGO(STG) composites were prepared using a one-step hydrolysis process followed by a low-temperature hydrothermaltreatment. The STG composites exhibited excellent photo-catalytic degradation performance for methylene blue owing to a good synergistic effect between TiO_2 and rGO. The STG composites with 1.0 wt% of rGO loading exhibited the highest removalrate of 86.0% for methylene blue and its reaction rate constant(5.27 × 10^(-3) min^(-1)) was much higher than those of pure string and ball-like TiO_2(ST). In addition, the STG composites also showed an outstanding capability for the photo-catalysis degradation of other cationic dyes. In addition, a possible photo-catalytic degradation mechanism for the STG composite was postulated, in which~?O_2^- and~·OH were the main oxidizing groups. This work of fers new insights into a better design and preparation of novelcomposite materials for the removalof organic dyes.展开更多
With the drill string hole being regarded as an ultra-long irregular lossy cylindrical waveguide, the optimal frequency point for microwave transmission was calculated according to the electromagnetic wave coupling th...With the drill string hole being regarded as an ultra-long irregular lossy cylindrical waveguide, the optimal frequency point for microwave transmission was calculated according to the electromagnetic wave coupling theory, the attenuation law and efficient transmission distance of microwave channel were obtained and the microwave mode in the waveguide was analyzed. Furthermore, the channel model and signal attenuation model were established by the microwave transmission equivalent circuit method. The power attenuation coefficient per unit of length was proposed to simplify the analysis on effective transmission distance for the ultra-long drill string. The optimal frequency points of 139.7 mm(5.5 in) and 127 mm(5 in) API drill pipes are 2.04 GHz and 2.61 GHz, respectively, and there are several inner diameter varying sections and break points in the drill string hole along the axial direction. The microwave transmission suffers a lot of reflections. The channel impedance change is a key factor affecting the transmission quality. The lab and field tests reveal that the attenuation model established in this paper is accurate, and it is applicable to the design of microwave transmission measurement while drilling system.展开更多

Quantum theory with conjecture of fractional charge quantization (quantum dipole moment), eigenfunctions for fractional charge quant...The quantum electrodynamic (QED) behaviour is studied for quantum Hall effect (QHE). Quantum theory with conjecture of fractional charge quantization (quantum dipole moment), eigenfunctions for fractional charge quantization at the surface of a twisted and twigged electron quanta and above its surface, fractional Fourier transform and Hermite function for fractional charge quantization is developed. With energy eigen value equation for QHE and with energy operator on an eigenfunction of a twisted and twigged electron quanta, the corresponding eigenfunctions are normalized with Schrodinger’s quantum wave mechanical equation for electric scalar and magnetic potentials, respectively (QED behavior). The fractional electric and magnetic fields with their corresponding potentials for the quantized fractional states in semiconducting hereto structures are theoretically calculated. Such mathematical expressions are in good agreement with experimental results of Nobel Prize winning scientists Klitzing, Haroche, Peter and Gruebber. Our results can also explain the hybridized states of orbits with emphasis on sigma and pi bonding and their corresponding antibonding orbitals as a manifestation of electrophilic and nucleophilic chemical reactions.展开更多
