Based on the key function of version management in PDM system, this paper discusses the function and the realization of version management and the transitions of version states with a workflow. A directed aeyclic graph is used to describe a version model. Three storage modes of the directed acyelic graph version model in the database, the bumping block and the PDM working memory are presented and the conversion principle of these three modes is given. The study indicates that building a dynamic product structure configuration model based on versions is the key to resolve the problem. Thus a version model of single product object is built. Then the version management model in product structure configuration is built and the application of version management of PDM syster is presented as a case. 展开更多

Adapting Smallholder Agriculture to Climate Change through Sustainable Land Management Practices: Empirical Evidence from North-West Ethiopia 被引量:1

The objective of this paper was to determine the factors that influence farmers' decision to use two categories of sustainable land management (SLM) practices as adaptation strategy to climate change in the North-West Ethiopia. It was based on analysis of data collected from 734 farm household heads and employed probit regression model to analyze the determinants of adaptation to climate change through SLM measures. Based on the model result, factors, like perception of climate change, exposure to adaptation techniques, education, perception of land degradation, slope, land prone to degradation, number of parcels, crop enterprise income, land size, farm distance, economically active family size and agro-ecology are found important in determining farmers' decision to use structural land management practices. Likewise, perception of climate change, exposure to adaptation, farming experience, slope, crop enterprise income, land prone to degradation and agro-ecology are found important in affecting farmers' decision to use non-structural land management practices as adaptation measure. Therefore, in line with the findings of the analysis, any intervention that promotes use of land management practices as adaptation strategy should take into account agro-ecology specific factors that are relevant to the nature of the land management practices. Moreover, since scaling up of SLM practices as adaptation strategy is resource intensive, it requires both public and non-public investment for providing technological support and raising awareness. Failure to do so would adversely affect crop productivity and exacerbate food insecurity problems at farm household level. 展开更多

Background:Conceptual models of forest dynamics are powerful cognitive tools,which are indispensable for communicating ecological ideas and knowledge,and in developing strategic approaches and setting targets for forest conservation,restoration and sustainable management.Forest development through time is conventionally described as a directional,or "linear",and predictable sequence of stages from "bare ground" to old forest representing the "climax-state".However,this simple view is incompatible with the current knowledge and understanding of intrinsic variability of forest dynamics.Hypothesis:Overly simple conceptual models of forest dynamics easily become transformed into biased mental models of how forests naturally develop and what kind of structures they display.To be able to communicate the essential features and diversity of forest dynamics,comprehensive conceptual models are needed.For this end,Kuuluvainen(2009) suggested a relatively simple conceptual model of forest dynamics,which separates three major modes of forest dynamics,and incorporates state changes and transitions between the forest dynamics modes depending on changes in disturbance regime.Conclusions:Conceptual models of forest dynamics should be comprehensive enough to incorporate both longterm directional change and short-term cyclic forest dynamics,as well as transitions from one dynamics mode to another depending on changes in the driving disturbance regime type.Models that capture such essential features of forest dynamics are indispensable for educational purposes,in setting reference conditions and in developing methods in forest conservation,restoration and ecosystem management. 展开更多

Although there are many studies on the kinetic behavior of liquid water in the cathode flow channel, there is still a lack of literature on water transport behavior in the flow channel considering the pore structure distribution on the GDL surface. In this paper, the effect of different size liquid water inlet arrangements on the GDL surface on the water management performance of the cathode runner is investigated. The volume of fluid (VOF) model is used to simulate the gas-liquid two-phase flow phenomenon in the channel. The results show that the droplet size discharged from the cathode flow channel is basically the uniformity when the liquid water inlet is distributed in gas flow from the largest to the smallest in size. At the same time, the maximum total liquid water content achievable in the flow channel, the maximum GDL surface coverage is the smallest, and the cathode flow channel has the best water management performance. The effect of pore structure distribution on the surface of GDL should be considered when conducting the study of water transport behavior in the cathode flow channel to reveal further the transport process of liquid water in the cathode channel and the removal mechanism. </div> 展开更多

To address the discrepancy between carrier collection and light absorption of organic solar cells caused by the limited carrier mobility and optical absorption coefficient for the normally employed organic photoactive layers,a light management structure composed of a front indium tin oxide(ITO)nanograting and ultrathin Al layer inserted in between the photoactive layer and the electron transport layer(ETL)is introduced.Owing to the antireflection and light scattering induced by the ITO nanograting and the suppression of light absorption in the ETL by the inserted Al layer,the light absorption of the photoactive layer is significantly enhanced in a spectral range from 400 nm to 650 nm that also covers the main energy region of solar irradiation for the normally employed active materials such as the P3HT:PC_(61)BM blend.The simulation results indicate that comparing with the control device with a planar configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PC_(61)BM(80-nm thick)/ZnO/Al,the short-circuit current density and power conversion efficiency of the optimized light management structure can be improved by 32.86%and 34.46%.Moreover,good omnidirectional light management is observed for the proposed device structure.Owing to the fact that the light management structure possesses the simple structure and excellent performance,the exploration of such a structure can be believed to be significant in fabricating the thin film-based optoelectronic devices. 展开更多
