Design: systematic review, (a type of secondary research design) aiming to summarize the results of prior primary research studies on available evidence Community type 2 diabetes structured education (CT2DSHE). Methods: Research question: Type 2 diabetic structured health education within a community how effective is it? Qualitative Systematic review, defined as a way to get reliable and objective picture of current available evidence on the specific topic—(CT2DSHE), (Denscombe, 2021) through reflexivity synthesis of available data as an example. This is valuable in time constraints such as project assignments that must be met within specific time and also to bring together available evidence together [1]. Results: This review has shown that CT2DSHE is effective with seven out of the eleven authors supporting, three authors against and one was neutral, further showed that knowledge and skills acquired can last longer with patient activation improved among T2DM patients ideal for sustaining their self-management of T2DM. Conclusion: This research provides suggestive answers to the research question: “Type 2 diabetic structured health education within a community how effective is it?”, This has demonstrated CT2DSHE effectiveness in knowledge acquisition and improving T2DM awareness among T2DM patients, whilst evidencing long effects beyond the study times of 3 - 9 months period in relation to patient activation. Also Identified diabetes education self-management on newly diagnosed (DESMOND) patient as CT2DSHE program for recommendation. Objective:To explore the application effect of structured healthcare education in patients with brittle diabetes mellitus.Methods:188 brittle diabetic patients admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 w...Objective:To explore the application effect of structured healthcare education in patients with brittle diabetes mellitus.Methods:188 brittle diabetic patients admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into the control group(n=94)and the observation group(n=94)according to the random number table method.The control group used conventional nursing intervention and the observation group used structured healthcare education.The general information,glycemic indexes,self-efficacy,compliance,and nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were observed.Results:There was no statistical significance in the basic information of the two groups of patients(P>0.05);after the intervention,the fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,and HbA1c of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.001);after the intervention,the self-efficacy scores of the patients in the two groups increased,and the scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.001);the total adherence rate of the patients in the observation group(90/95.75%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(80/90.10%)(χ^(2)=6.144,P<0.05);and the total satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group(92/97.87%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(78/82.98%)(χ^(2)=12.042,P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with brittle diabetes mellitus,structured healthcare education can effectively control patients’blood glucose levels,improve patients’self-efficacy and adherence,and enhance patient satisfaction.展开更多

BACKGROUND 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT is a commonly used examination method in nuclear medicine.However,patients receiving 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT have insufficient knowledge of this method and worry about the examination re...BACKGROUND 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT is a commonly used examination method in nuclear medicine.However,patients receiving 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT have insufficient knowledge of this method and worry about the examination results.AIM To investigate the effect of teach-back health education combined with structured psychological nursing on adverse emotion and cooperation in patients undergoing 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT examination.METHODS Ninety patients undergoing 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT examinations were divided into a study group and a control group using a simple random number table,and 45 cases were allocated to each group.Routine nursing was provided to the control group,and teach-back health education combined with structured psychological nursing was provided to the study group on the basis of the control group.Heart rate,diastolic blood pressure,systolic blood pressure,self-rating depression scale(SDS),and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)were assessed before and after the intervention,and examination cooperation and intervention satisfaction were assessed in the two groups before,during,and after the examination.RESULTS Before the examination,heart rate,diastolic blood pressure,and systolic blood pressure in the study group were not significantly different from the values of the control group(P>0.05).The results of the study group before and after the examination were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Before the intervention,SDS and SAS scores in the study group were not significantly different from those in the control group(P>0.05).After the intervention,SDS and SAS scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The degree of cooperation was higher in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate with the intervention was higher in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Teach-back health education combined with structured psychological nursing can help maintain the stability of blood pressure and heart rate,relieve negative emotions,and improve the satisfaction and cooperation of patients undergoing 99mTc-3PRGD2.SPECT/CT examinations.展开更多
Objective:This study was conducted to compare the effect of structured education program versus traditional diabetes education on insulin injection technique as well as physiologically and psychosocially related outco...Objective:This study was conducted to compare the effect of structured education program versus traditional diabetes education on insulin injection technique as well as physiologically and psychosocially related outcomes in adults with Type 2 diabetes.Materials and Methods:This study was a randomized controlled trial.Totally,71 Type 2 diabetes patients of using the insulin pen were enrolled and randomly divided into the intervention group(n=36)and the control group(n=35)according to random number table method.Patients in the intervention group received structured education program,while patients in the control group received traditional diabetes education.The levels of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),blood glucose,and lipids were monitored before and 3 months after intervention,and the insulin injection techniques,diabetes distress,and diabetes self-management skills between groups were assessed after 3 months.Results:Finally,65 participants(intervention group:n=33,control group:n=32)finished the study.After the intervention,HbA1c was lower(7.42±0.80 vs.8.35±1.40,P=0.002),fasting blood glucose(FBG)was lower(7.27±1.06 vs.9.40±3.16,P<0.001),and postprandial blood glucose(PBG)was lower(10.33±2.20 vs.12.77±4.94,P=0.012)in the intervention group than in the control group.No statistically significance was identified between the two groups in scores of Diabetes Distress Scale and summary of diabetes self-care activities.Conclusion:Patients with Type 2 diabetes received structured education program,with greater improvements achieved in HbA1c,FBG,PBG,and measures about insulin injection techniques compared to the traditional education group,but there was no significant difference in diabetes distress or self-management behavior between groups.展开更多

The updated program includes dynamic analysis, which incorporates inertial and damping effects, time-dependent load conditions, and a transient solver with multiple time integration schemes. The software assumes small displacements and linear-elastic material behavior. The paper briefly explains the theoretical basis for these developments and the reorganization of the source code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The updated Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows interactive use of dynamic analysis features and displays new results such as animations, envelope diagrams of internal forces, phase portraits, and the response of degrees-of-freedom in time and frequency domain. The new version was used in a structural dynamics course, and new assignments were elaborated to improve students’ understanding of the subject.展开更多

In gastroenterology training programs, the assessment of SBP is difficult due to high volume, high acuity inpatient care, as well as inconsistent direct supervision. Nevertheless,structured assessment is required for training programs. We hypothesized that objective structured clinical examination(OSCE) would be an effective tool for assessment of SBP.AIM To develop a novel method for SBP milestone assessment of gastroenterology fellows using the OSCE.METHODS For this observational study, we created 4 OSCE stations: Counseling an impaired colleague, handoff after overnight call, a feeding tube placement discussion, and giving feedback to a medical student on a progress note. Twentysix first year fellows from 7 programs participated. All fellows encountered identical case presentations. Checklists were completed by trained standardized patients who interacted with each fellow participant. A report with individual and composite scores was generated and forwarded to program directors to utilize in formative assessment. Fellows also received immediate feedback from a faculty observer and completed a post-session program evaluation survey.RESULTS Survey response rate was 100%. The average composite score across SBP milestones for all cases were 6.22(SBP1), 4.34(SBP2), 3.35(SBP3), and 6.42(SBP4)out of 9. The lowest composite score was in SBP 3, which asks fellows to advocate for cost effective care. This highest score was in patient care 2, which asks fellows to develop comprehensive management plans. Discrepancies were identified between the fellows’ perceived performance in their self-assessments and Standardized Patient checklist evaluations for each case. Eighty-seven percent of fellows agreed that OSCEs are an important component of their clinical training,and 83% stated that the cases were similar to actual clinical encounters. All participating fellows stated that the immediate feedback was "very useful." One hundred percent of the fellows stated they would incorporate OSCE learning into their clinical practice.CONCLUSION OSCEs may be used for standardized evaluation of SBP milestones. Trainees scored lower on SBP milestones than other more concrete milestones. Training programs should consider OSCEs for assessment of SBP.展开更多

There is a good reason to believe that bilingualism is the norm for the majority of people in the world, because 70% of the earth's population are supposed to be bilingual or multilingual. Our purpose of the study was to determine the participants' awareness of using true and false cognate words of L 1 (the first language) & L2 (the second language) in learning English. Three hundred and eighty-five selected people from 3,789 statistical population participated in 2014--2015 at three levels of A.D., B.A., and M.A. of Islamic Azad University as well as teachers of English in English educational institutions in Zanjan (Iran). Each educational level was considered as one category with the total sample calculated by using Kokran Formula, and the amount of each category was determined by using appropriate proportion and randomized categorical sampling method. The participants' age was between from 18 to 52, with a mean age of 29 years. The materials were 45 words of true and false cognate's words from 500 words by doing CVR (content validity ratio) and CVI (content validity index) (Lawshe's table with the index of 88% and 82% respectively) for being reliable and valid. ANOVA (Analysis of variance) was used for studying the effect of educational level on the rate of awareness. In other words, the awareness level has been compared in different educational levels. The results of Dankan test show that: There is no significant difference between the awareness of A.D., B.A., and M.A. levels, but there is a significant difference between the level of awareness of teachers group and the other groups (in true cognate words) and for false cognate words, there is no significant difference between the level of awareness of the four groups in this regard.展开更多

文摘Objective:This study was conducted to compare the effect of structured education program versus traditional diabetes education on insulin injection technique as well as physiologically and psychosocially related outcomes in adults with Type 2 diabetes.Materials and Methods:This study was a randomized controlled trial.Totally,71 Type 2 diabetes patients of using the insulin pen were enrolled and randomly divided into the intervention group(n=36)and the control group(n=35)according to random number table method.Patients in the intervention group received structured education program,while patients in the control group received traditional diabetes education.The levels of glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),blood glucose,and lipids were monitored before and 3 months after intervention,and the insulin injection techniques,diabetes distress,and diabetes self-management skills between groups were assessed after 3 months.Results:Finally,65 participants(intervention group:n=33,control group:n=32)finished the study.After the intervention,HbA1c was lower(7.42±0.80 vs.8.35±1.40,P=0.002),fasting blood glucose(FBG)was lower(7.27±1.06 vs.9.40±3.16,P<0.001),and postprandial blood glucose(PBG)was lower(10.33±2.20 vs.12.77±4.94,P=0.012)in the intervention group than in the control group.No statistically significance was identified between the two groups in scores of Diabetes Distress Scale and summary of diabetes self-care activities.Conclusion:Patients with Type 2 diabetes received structured education program,with greater improvements achieved in HbA1c,FBG,PBG,and measures about insulin injection techniques compared to the traditional education group,but there was no significant difference in diabetes distress or self-management behavior between groups.

The paper mainly focus on the necessity, importance, practical nature and relevance. Particular attention has been paid to model called "speciality plus versatility" based on advice from students, schools and society as well.
文摘With the rapid development of information technology,smart teaching platforms have become important tools for higher education teaching reform.As a core course of computer science and technology-related majors in higher education,the data structure course lays a solid foundation for students’professional learning and plays an important role in promoting their future success in technology,research,and industry.This study conducts an in-depth analysis of the pain points faced by the data structure course,and explores a teaching reform and practice of integration of theory and practice based on the system application of a smart teaching platform before class,during class,and after class.The reform practice shows that this teaching mode improves students’learning initiative,learning motivation,and practical skills.Students not only achieved better results in knowledge mastery but also significantly improved in problem analysis and solution.
文摘This paper introduces a new version of the open-source educational software, LESM (Linear Elements Structure Model), developed in MATLAB for structural analysis of one-dimensional models such as frames, trusses, and grillages. The updated program includes dynamic analysis, which incorporates inertial and damping effects, time-dependent load conditions, and a transient solver with multiple time integration schemes. The software assumes small displacements and linear-elastic material behavior. The paper briefly explains the theoretical basis for these developments and the reorganization of the source code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The updated Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows interactive use of dynamic analysis features and displays new results such as animations, envelope diagrams of internal forces, phase portraits, and the response of degrees-of-freedom in time and frequency domain. The new version was used in a structural dynamics course, and new assignments were elaborated to improve students’ understanding of the subject.
文摘Diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM)is a global pandemic that will affect 300 million people in the next decade.It has been shown that early and aggressive treatment of T2DM from the onset decreases complications,and the patient’s active role is necessary to achieve better glycemic control.In order to achieve glycemic control targets,an active attitude in patients is needed,and selfmonitoring of blood glucose(SMBG)plays a significant role.Nowadays,SMBG has become an important component of modern therapy for diabetes mellitus,and is even more useful if it is performed in a structured way.SMBG aids physicians and patients to achieve a specific level of glycemic control and to prevent hypoglycemia.In addition,SMBG empowers patients to achieve nutritional and physical activity goals,and helps physicians to optimize the different hypoglycemic therapies as demonstrated in the St Carlos study.This article describes the different ways of using this educational and therapeutic tool from the medical point of view as well as from the patient’s perspective.
文摘BACKGROUND System based practice(SBP) milestones require trainees to effectively navigate the larger health care system for optimal patient care. In gastroenterology training programs, the assessment of SBP is difficult due to high volume, high acuity inpatient care, as well as inconsistent direct supervision. Nevertheless,structured assessment is required for training programs. We hypothesized that objective structured clinical examination(OSCE) would be an effective tool for assessment of SBP.AIM To develop a novel method for SBP milestone assessment of gastroenterology fellows using the OSCE.METHODS For this observational study, we created 4 OSCE stations: Counseling an impaired colleague, handoff after overnight call, a feeding tube placement discussion, and giving feedback to a medical student on a progress note. Twentysix first year fellows from 7 programs participated. All fellows encountered identical case presentations. Checklists were completed by trained standardized patients who interacted with each fellow participant. A report with individual and composite scores was generated and forwarded to program directors to utilize in formative assessment. Fellows also received immediate feedback from a faculty observer and completed a post-session program evaluation survey.RESULTS Survey response rate was 100%. The average composite score across SBP milestones for all cases were 6.22(SBP1), 4.34(SBP2), 3.35(SBP3), and 6.42(SBP4)out of 9. The lowest composite score was in SBP 3, which asks fellows to advocate for cost effective care. This highest score was in patient care 2, which asks fellows to develop comprehensive management plans. Discrepancies were identified between the fellows’ perceived performance in their self-assessments and Standardized Patient checklist evaluations for each case. Eighty-seven percent of fellows agreed that OSCEs are an important component of their clinical training,and 83% stated that the cases were similar to actual clinical encounters. All participating fellows stated that the immediate feedback was "very useful." One hundred percent of the fellows stated they would incorporate OSCE learning into their clinical practice.CONCLUSION OSCEs may be used for standardized evaluation of SBP milestones. Trainees scored lower on SBP milestones than other more concrete milestones. Training programs should consider OSCEs for assessment of SBP.

文摘The goal of this paper is to analyze and propose a reconstruction of functional possibilities and database requirements of a Web based Educational Information system. For the research the Information system of the Technology School "electronic Systems" (TUES) associated with the Technical University of Sofia is on focus. The modules for admission of students, specialty classification, and graduation of students, management of the student's work in computer classrooms and lecturers' data management have been analyzed, developed and implemented. The additionally developed modules concern mainly the management of educational process and do not affect the e-learning or the official part modules. That led to the idea that the functionality for managing educational process has to be organized in a separate module defined as module for administrative services of educational process. Such restructuring of the system will bring flexibility in further growth of the system--for example students' admission or selection for different purposes.

文摘The ability to speak two languages in the non-English-speaking countries is a remarkable achievement. There is a good reason to believe that bilingualism is the norm for the majority of people in the world, because 70% of the earth's population are supposed to be bilingual or multilingual. Our purpose of the study was to determine the participants' awareness of using true and false cognate words of L 1 (the first language) & L2 (the second language) in learning English. Three hundred and eighty-five selected people from 3,789 statistical population participated in 2014--2015 at three levels of A.D., B.A., and M.A. of Islamic Azad University as well as teachers of English in English educational institutions in Zanjan (Iran). Each educational level was considered as one category with the total sample calculated by using Kokran Formula, and the amount of each category was determined by using appropriate proportion and randomized categorical sampling method. The participants' age was between from 18 to 52, with a mean age of 29 years. The materials were 45 words of true and false cognate's words from 500 words by doing CVR (content validity ratio) and CVI (content validity index) (Lawshe's table with the index of 88% and 82% respectively) for being reliable and valid. ANOVA (Analysis of variance) was used for studying the effect of educational level on the rate of awareness. In other words, the awareness level has been compared in different educational levels. The results of Dankan test show that: There is no significant difference between the awareness of A.D., B.A., and M.A. levels, but there is a significant difference between the level of awareness of teachers group and the other groups (in true cognate words) and for false cognate words, there is no significant difference between the level of awareness of the four groups in this regard.
