In this paper,a detailed description of the English curriculum for college students is offered in terms of its aim,teaching princi-ple,the question of intended and enacted experience,as well as a philosophical analysis of its key elements,including the initiative'sown philosophical underpinnings,as well as an evaluation of its values,including the centrality of experience,education in a holisticsense both on the individual level and the societal level,the values of interactivity of the education system and the negative aspects ofthe curriculum.It is argued that the curriculum is open to both progressive ideals and with its processive character it is likely that it willcontinue to evolve,which parallels the education system's hope that its students will evolve in various ways.

Cultivate Innovative and Entrepreneurial Qualities among Medical Students through Curriculum Ideology and Politics

As the main body of promoting the development of medical science and technology, medical students play an extremely important role in promoting the construction of new medical science. New medicine is a new concept based on the development of traditional medicine, breaking the discipline barrier, aiming to cultivate composite talents, taking reality as the orientation, and combining with the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence. Quality of Nursing Courses as Perceived by Students: Relationship with Their Academic Achievement in Palestine College of Nursing

The purpose of this study was to determine the Bachelor Science of Nursing (BSN), student’s perceptions of the quality of nursing courses taught at Palestine College of Nursing (PCN), which were fundamentals of nursing course, adult nursing course, pediatric nursing course, maternity nursing course, community nursing course, mental health and psychiatric nursing course and nursing management and leadership course, and its relationship with their academic achievement. The Palestine College of Nursing is governmental and Ministry of Health (MOH) affiliated. The sample included 467 nursing students registered in the college who studied the previously mentioned nursing courses. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire developed by the researcher, and guided by literature. That was to assess the included nine quality dimensions of the nursing courses as perceived by the students. Content validity and reliability tests were done for the tool. The study revealed that the total students’ perceptions of the quality of all nurses courses were within average quality level (80.42%). The nursing management course and community health nursing course were of the first two ranks of high quality level (84.54%, and 84.48%, respectively), where mental health and psychiatric nursing course, fundamentals of nursing course, adult health nursing course, pediatric nursing course and maternity health nursing course were the next ranks of average quality level. The study revealed that students’ perceptions of seven dimensions from nine were with average quality level (80.50%). The first rank was the “teacher/instructor characteristics and attributes”, dimension of high quality level (84.44%), while the last rank was “teaching methodology” dimension of average quality level (77.54%). There was a positive relationship between students’ achievement and the courses’ quality dimensions, pertaining objectives of the course, contents of the course, teacher/instructor competencies, teacher characteristics, teaching methodology, students/teacher interaction and course evaluation. The study recommended improving the quality of nursing courses for better level and to improve the quality of some dimensions like using different teaching strategies, the quality of clinical settings, and improve the quality of nursing instructors in some clinical areas. Finally the researcher recommend for further studies about concerning quality in nursing education.

Curricular Content Level of Complexity Is a Factor of Depression and Learning in Medical Students

The aim of this paper was to analyze the impact of Human Physiology curriculum on depression and academic performance of medical students. Beck instrument was applied before exams’ period to all students who voluntarily participated and the grades gotten in each of the three Human Physiology exams were correlated with all first year’s averages. Descriptive and inferential statistics were carried out. We found a significant relationship between the complexity of Human Physiology curriculum and the number of cases of depression, resulting in low academic average;high correlations were among Human Physiology contents and those of Biochemistry and Anatomy. It is important to implement support programs to follow students’ emotional welfare as well as to go over the subject’s content.

来华留学生汉语教学课程思政建设意义重大,事关中国大国形象构建和知华友华爱华青年的培养。当前来华留学生教育课程思政建设未引起足够重视,汉语教师普遍课程思政意识不强,加之受到世界百年变局和世纪疫情交织叠加等因素影响,来华留学生教育发展面临一定的挑战和冲击。国际中文教育学界应该形成课程思政建设的共识,加强顶层设计,明确教学总目标,充分挖掘教材中的思政元素,采用恰当的教学模式,构建汉语教学课程思政体系。

大数据时代的到来和数字经济的发展,使得数据素养对创新创业的正面效应日益显著。财经类学生作为未来经济管理领域的从业者,将在工作中接触大量经济管理数据,急需提升数据素养水平。在明确数据素养概念和内涵基础上,分析了大数据时代以统计学课程为代表的数据类课程面临的挑战,提出了面向现实环境和整合支撑工具的改革思路,并重点从与课程思政结合实现数据伦理教育革新、以现实问题为驱动推动针对性能力训练和面向数据全生命周期实现分析工具整合等角度,对在课程教学中如何提升数据素养进行了探索。

医学生“生命关怀与死亡教育”课程的设计与实施

目的:基于医学生的需求设计并开展了“生命关怀与死亡教育”课程,初步评价其效果,以期为国内其他医学院校开展生死教育课程提供参考。方法:以“围死亡期”为时间框架,课程主线贯穿理论内容及实践主题活动,通过“行走的课堂”体验式实践教学方式带领医学生直面生死真实场景,提高照护理念和产生照护行动。结果:课程内容包括“生命与关怀”和“死亡与告别”两大理论授课主题及“生命之旅”“照护力量”“自我关怀”“死亡之思”“告别之日”五大实践授课主题。课程初步实践效果好,多方相关利益人群给予课程高度评价。结论:该课程设计合理,实施方案明确、清晰,在一定程度上满足了医学生对生死教育的学习需求,能够促进医学生对生死问题在思想上的自知和照护行动上的自觉,可推广性强,能够为各医学院校开展生死教育课程提供参考。

高职学生医学类专业精神培育现状调查研究——以湖北职业技术学院为例

对1956名医学类专业学生进行了专业精神培育现状调查,发现虽然学校对医学类学生专业精神培养效果整体良好,但对医学类专业精神教育第一课堂供给有待更新,第二课堂供给有待精准,第三课堂仍需不断拓展。要通过重视生命教育、强化系统培养、用好网络平台、实现教育成效,提高学生医学专业精神培育的质量。

Investigation and Suggestions on the Curriculum Setting of ESP Course in the Higher Vocational College

ESP course is being given in most higher vocational colleges, but there are some problems in the curriculum setting.Students' needs and practical situation should be considered when conducting ESP curriculum setting, for the purpose of improving ESP teaching and learning.

Investigation on Tabriz University Teachers’ Experiences of the Ignored Curriculumin General Courses

The ignored curriculum is one of important elements in the curriculum that the design of this concept has led to reduce a superficial look at measures to curriculum. Ignored curriculum not only in the design but also should be considered at the implementation level. The present study examined the experiences of teachers in general education from ignored curriculum in higher education and this study was done by qualitative research and its approach was interpretive phenomenology. In this regard, semi-structured interviews were conducted with twenty-six teachers of general education courses and the data obtained from these interviews were analyzed by using phenomenology of Smith. Three major themes from ignored curriculum, were found from the experience of teachers including 1) lack of attention to requirements which consists of three sub-categories: in attention to the needs of the learner, the needs and demands of everyday life and the needs of experts;2) lack of attention to content;3) run into problems involving the four sub-problems of teaching, evaluation time, space and assessment. The teachers during the training and implementing courses have gained a lot of experience from the ignored curriculum that had impact on their perception. Planners are familiar with academics experiences and identify ignored curriculum of general education courses and emphasized on how they understand the main goals of general education courses and made it meaningful and they had a main role in eliminating the flaws of this course, and enhance the effectiveness of them. In summary, the results obtained from the study were that general education courses, do not address the needs of learners. These requirements include of three sub-categories: inattention to the needs of the learner, routine needs and professionals. Also, courses have less attention to content. And there are problems such as difficulties in teaching this lesson, time, space and evaluation.

立德树人视角下课程设置对大学生德育素养的影响研究--以经济学专业为例

人才是第一资源,经济学人才更是推动产业结构优化升级,提升国家整体竞争力,实现经济高质量发展的重要引擎。因而,培养具备较高德育素养的经济学人才是高等教育的重要目标。良好的培养模式是提升经济学人才德育素养的主要推力,其中,课程设置是培养模式的核心组成部分,该文在立德树人视角下,使用问卷调查数据,实证检验课程设置对经济学专业人才的德育素养影响。研究结果表明,课程设置对高校学生德育培养具有显著促进作用,其中课程设置对学生创新能力的影响最大。高校应不断更新优化课程设置,包括增加实践性课程的比重,加强学生综合素质教育以培养创新思维和实践能力,提供多种形式的实践机会等方面提升经济学专业人才的德育素养。

基于学生满意度的旅游目的地管理课程改革分析——以北京联合大学为例

旅游目的地管理课程是教育部《旅游管理类教学质量国家标准》规定的4门核心课程之一。因此,该课程的课程建设至关重要。从学生角度进行课堂教学满意度调查和评价是以“学生为中心”教学理念的一种体现。该文以旅游目的地管理课程为例,通过问卷调查了解旅游管理大类专业学生对该课程的满意度,并运用SPSS25.0进行问卷数据的统计分析,探讨与学生满意度有关的课程内容、教师教学等因素存在的问题,进一步挖掘学生对课程改革满意高低的深层原因,并尝试提出对策。
