A Study on the Work Process-Based Practical Training Model for Basic Nursing Skills in Vocational Colleges

Objective:To explore and analyze the work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges and its implementation effects.Methods:A total of 82 nursing students from our school were selected for the study,which was conducted from April 2023 to April 2024.Using a random number table method,the students were divided into an observation group and a control group,each with 41 students.The control group received conventional practical training teaching,while the observation group followed the work process-based practical training model for basic nursing skills.The assessment scores and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:The comparison of assessment scores showed that the observation group performed significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of teaching satisfaction also indicated that the observation group had significantly higher satisfaction than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The work process-based practical training teaching model for basic nursing skills in vocational colleges can improve students’assessment scores and enhance teaching satisfaction,demonstrating its value for wider application.

The Role of Skills Competitions in Improving the Practical Ability of Vocational College Students

Vocational education and general education are two different types of education that are equally important.The orientation of talent training in vocational education is to nurture skilled talents to serve the society.The practical ability of students is both the focus of teaching in vocational colleges and the requirement of enterprise posts.The various types of skills competitions provide a“stage”for students to showcase their abilities.First,this paper explores students’problem-solving ability while preparing for these competitions,expounding the importance of vocational education and skills competitions.Second,this paper summarizes the views of different scholars.Third,based on a specific case,this paper describes the improvement in students’ability while preparing for these competitions.Fourth,this paper analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey conducted to investigate the improvement in students’ability.Lastly,this paper puts forward several suggestions that appeal for vocational colleges to pay more attention to skills competitions.

Entrepreneurship training:its influences on innovation potentials among nursing students

Objective:To evaluate the influences of entrepreneurship training on the innovation potential among nursing students.Methods:A quasi-experimental design was utilized to conduct this study.The study was conducted in the classroom at the faculty of nursing,and the“i Hub”center at Ain Shams University(ASU)in Cairo,Egypt.A purposive sample of 42 nursing students who participated in the“Ain Shams University-innovate”competition from the Faculty of Nursing of ASU were included in this study.Data collection tools included(1)Nursing students'innovation skills assessment questionnaire and(2)Innovative projects evaluation tool.Results:There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of nursing students'total innovation skills pre-and post-implementation of entrepreneurship training,where P-value<0.05.Conclusions:The results of the current study support the research hypothesis because the implementation of entrepreneurship training positively affects nursing students'innovation potential.Developing entrepreneurship education in nursing and integrating it into nursing programs will stimulate creativity,innovation,and entrepreneurship among nursing students and health care services.

Evaluation of Impact of Life-planning Skills Training among Senior High School Students in Shangcai County

Objective To evaluate the impact of sex and reproductive health education using lifeplanning skills training among senior high school students in a rural county. Methods The study was conducted in three senior high schools of Shangcai County with comparable socio-cultural, economic, and demographic characteristics, two as intervention sites and one as the control. A three-month life-planning skills training course was conducted among all grade one students in the intervention schools. The baseline survey was conducted prior to the intervention, once again three months after the intervention was initiated. Data were collected through questionnaires, FGDs and 1Dis to evaluate the effect of the intervention program. Results After the intervention, the median score of reproductive health knowledge was higher in the intervention group （55.66） than that in control group （38.68）. Students from the intervention group were also more comfortable with their developmental changes which were going through, In the end line survey, 92.70% of the students in the intervention group suggested that reproductive health education should be carried out among all middle school students in Shangcai County. Multivariate analysis also indicated that peers and family had a significant effect on students＇ sex-related knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. Conclusion Sex and reproductive health education via provision of life-planning skills training can significantly increase students＇ sex and reproductive health knowl- edge and was welcomed by students, teachers and parents.

The Effect of Life Skills Training on the Mental Health and Level of Resilience among Teachers of Normal Students and Teachers of Exceptional Students in Zahedan

This is an experimental study conducted on two groups of control and experimental using pretestposttest design, applying psychological intervention on the study sample. The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of collective education life skills on mental health and resilience of teachers in Zahedan. The population of the study included all teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students in Zahedan, among which 60 teachers at normal schools and 20 teachers at exceptional schools were selected and placed in two groups of experimental and control, respectively. Initially, members of the experimental group were taught 10 basic life skills in 10 2-hour sessions. Mental health and resilience questionnaires were distributed and gathered before and after the training sessions. Results indicated the positive effect of life skills training on mental health of teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, which meant that the more the life skills training to teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, the lower their mental health scores would be. Results also indicated the positive effect of life skills training on resilience of teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, which meant that the more the life skills training to teachers at schools with normal students and teachers at schools with exceptional students, the higher their resilience scores would be.

The Effectiveness of Life Skills Training on Enhancing the Self-Esteem of Hearing Impaired Students in Inclusive Schools

This research investigates the effectiveness of life skills training on enhancing the self-esteem of 8-16 years-old students with hearing impairment in inclusive schools. The sample was included of 54 students with hearing impairment from inclusive school whom their age and IQ were matched. They were randomly divided into an experimental and a control group (27 students in each group). The participants were assessed by Coopersmith Self-esteem Inventory (58-items version). The gathered data were analysed using the t-test method through the SPSS package. The results showed that training life skills to students with hearing impairment promote their self-esteem. In other words, life skills training is effective for enhancing the self-esteem of hearing impaired students in inclusive schools.

Application Experience of Quality Feedback in Standardized Practical Skills Training for Clinicopathology Residents

In recent years,there are increasingly more standardized trainings for doctors based on the standardized training outline that is suitable for different grades.Hierarchical training has gradually formed a relatively sound training mode.In reflecting students’learning effect,there is a need for an ideal quality feedback system in the standardized practical skills training for clinical pathology residents.This feedback system can help students achieve the training objectives through understanding and grasping the learning content.

The International Mobility of Students Apprentices at the Heart of Building a Skills Economy: the Example of the Corsican Territory

At a time of exacerbated globalization,education,and more generally training,is a key factor for our society,at the heart of territories challenged to renew themselves in the face of the emergence around the globe of new centers of economic and demographic gravity,with their own models.Training,and its link with working life,is a real challenge to face,in the near future,the technological,economic,political and environmental revolutions that we are already facing.Beyond what is called sandwich training or continuing vocational training in Higher Education,the current challenge is indeed around lifelong learning,old concept but whose forms always call for an actualization in modernity.At the heart of a small island territory like Corsica,this challenge is all the more crucial to take up as it foreshadows its attractiveness in a context of glocalisation[8]now durably anchored.In an ever-changing global environment,with moving landmarks,increasingly complex personal and professional lives,and where everything that seemed well compartmentalized yesterday faces increasing porosity,the purpose of this contribution is to explain that the international mobility of students apprentices,at the heart of the construction of a skills economy,is a major strategic issue for the development and structuring of a small territory such as Corsica.

Practice and Reflection on the Apprentice Training Talents “Dual Systems Four Stages of Work Integrated Learning” Education Approach

In view of the current demand for skilled talents required by the Chinese construction industry,this paper takes the Jiuzhou Polytechnic of Xuzhou,Jiangsu Province as an example and puts forward the apprenticeship training model of“dual system,four stages of work integrated learning,”with the characteristics of vocational education from China Jiuzhou Polytechnic along with its paid study courses.

The Effect of a Proposed Training Program Based on the Reflective Model on the Teachers＇ Reading Practices in Mafraq

This study aimed at investigating the effect of a proposed EFL （English as a Foreign Language） training program on the teachers＇ reading practices in Mafraq. This program was developed by the researcher according to the ninth-grade EFL teachers＇ needs. The participants of the study were 20 ninth-grade females EFL teachers who represented the experimental and control groups （10 teachers in each group）. They were randomly chosen from 10 schools in the Northwestern Badia Directorate of Education. To achieve the purposes of the study, the researcher designed a needs analysis questionnaire, a training program, a pre and post observation checklist, and a pre and post received knowledge test for teachers. Proper statistical analysis was used to analyze the results of the research questions. The results of the study showed that teachers were in need to be trained on 20 reading comprehension practices to be able to teach reading comprehension effectively. Besides, there were statistically significant differences at the level of （a = 0.05） between the means scores of the ninth-grade teachers＇ performance of the control and experimental groups on the post observation checklist and on the post received knowledge test in favor of the experimental group due to the training program.

The Impact of Bilingual Education on Minority Students’Language Skills and Cultural Identity

This study investigates the impact of bilingual education on the language skills and cultural identity of minority students.Through a mixed-methods approach,combining quantitative proficiency tests and qualitative interviews,the research provides a comprehensive analysis of the effects of bilingual education.The results indicate that bilingual education significantly enhances students’proficiency in both their native and second languages,while also fostering a strong sense of cultural identity and pride.The qualitative data reveal that bilingualism serves as a bridge between cultures,allowing students to integrate elements from both cultures into their identities.Despite the observed benefits,challenges such as language attrition and societal pressures towards assimilation are discussed.The study concludes with recommendations for policy and educational practices to maximize the potential of bilingual education,emphasizing the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity in fostering inclusive educational environments.Future research directions are suggested to explore long-term outcomes and the role of technology in bilingual education.

Impact of Life Skills Training to Improve Cognition on Risk of Sexual Behavior and Contraceptive Use among Vocational School Students in Shanghai,China

Objective To evaluate the impact of life skills training that uses participatory teaching method on improving reproductive health cognition of vocational school students of metropolitan, China.Methods Three vocational schools of an urban district in Shanghai were selected as the research sites, with two schools as the intervention groups（group A and group B） and the other as the control（group C）. Group A was provided life skills training with core of reproductive health plus peer education, while group B only provided life skills training. All the second grade students were recruited as the subjects. Baseline surveys were conducted in three schools before the implementation of the intervention, and similar surveys were conducted after two terms of the intervention to test the effectiveness of the intervention. In total, 1 612 subjects, including 810 males and 802 females, were recruited. The effects of the intervention on subjects＇ cognitions on sexual behavior and condom/contraceptive use were analyzed using mixed model with repeated measures.Results From pretest to posttest, there were significant increase of the proportions of perceiving risks in getting pregnant, infecting STDs and HIV, benefits by learning and using condom, and self-efficacy in contraceptive use, and decrease of the proportions of perceiving barriers for condom use in two intervention groups; while few similar changes in the control group. In mixed modeling analysis, interaction effects of group A × time and group B × time were found on the scores of perceived risks （P〈0.000 1）, perceived benefits （P〈0.000 1）, perceived barriers （P=0.001 2for group A and P=0.003 4 for group B）,and perceived self-efficacy （P〈0.000 1）. The significant difference of the effects between two interventions was only observed on perceived benefits （P 〈0.000 1）.Conclusion Life skills training using participatory approaches is effective in improving students＇ reproductive health cognition and could be used as an important method in educating young people about sex-related issues.

Cultivation of Teaching Skills： Problems and Solutions

The training of normal students' skills in higher normal universities is the premise and basis for their future employment. At present,there are a lot of problems in normal universities in the training of teachers' skills,such as unscientific arrangement of curriculum in normal universities,lack of vocational skills training,discrepancy between knowledge and skills,shortage of the training,the poverty of the methods and imperfection of evaluation system and so on. In order to improve the modern information teaching skills of the students of normal universities,broaden the paths of employment and improve the level of running a school,we should adjust the curriculum set,strengthen the teachers' quality,deal with the relationship between theory and practice appropriately,pay attention to integration of academic skills training,and build a scientific evaluation system.

协同视域下工科研究生产学研用培养模式探究与实践

加强协同创新是提高工科研究生创新实践能力的内在要求,完善产学研用是建立以创新创业为导向培养机制的必然方式。当前,地方高校工科研究生创新实践能力与经济社会对人才的需求仍存在一定的差距,主要表现在创新意识淡薄、实用成果匮乏、聚焦思考不足,究其原因,问题意识缺乏、知识来源单一、学习氛围封闭是导致问题出现的主要因素。为此,作者团队与行业企业联合建成太阳能光热产业示范基地,以实际需求为导向,以工程示范为载体,以成果转化为驱动,以产业应用为目标,探索产学研用的协同创新工科研究生培养新模式,尝试在多个产业示范基地建立具有鲜明工科特色的“科技小站”,通过模式与实践的高效融合,充分释放研究生的内在创新要素活力。

技能竞赛培育高职学生职业核心素养实践研究——以高职商务类实训项目为例

随着经济社会的快速发展,企业对于人才的要求日益提高,高职院校培育学生职业核心素养成为教育教学改革的重要工作之一。本文运用技能竞赛培育学生职业核心素养以重构高职院校商务类课程教学内容,着重开展“赛、学、做”三位一体的商务活动实践实训课堂,为学生营造集理论性、实践性与操作性于一体的实践实训职业情境,提升高职商务活动实训教学质量,培养学生职业化思维、职业化行为、职业化技能以及职业化习惯,从而促进学生综合素质得到全面发展,满足商业企业对于高质量应用型人才的需求。

推拿手法实训教学以近带远训练方法初探

为使推拿手法初学者养成专业动作习惯,有效预防职业损伤,更好、更快地掌握推拿手法技能,高效的教学方法非常重要。此文从教育心理学关于动作技能形成的相关论述中获得启发,针对手法实训教学中注重的示范、练习和反馈环节所存在的问题进行分析和改革探索,提出分解示范和部分练习的教学思路,并通过对手法上肢动作运动方式的分析,把手法动作分解为单一动作,再由单一动作到复合动作,编排成体操,拟定了“以近带远”训练方法——“上肢手法操”六节,以期为推拿手法实训教学提供新的方法和思路。

口腔医学本科生全周期进阶式技能训练教学模式的探索

口腔医学是一门综合性、应用性和实践性很强的学科,口腔医学生既要掌握丰富的专业理论知识,也需要具备熟练的临床操作技能,还需要材料学、美学的知识和素养。在我国口腔医学生的培养体系中大多是一年级二年级进行医学通识学科课程的学习,三年级下学期学习口腔专业课程,五年级进入临床实习。这一教学模式下学生专业知识的学习缺乏连贯性,实操技能锻炼机会少,毕业后临床实践技能不高。因此结合口腔专业培养目标和学生学习过程中的问题,我校提出临床技能训练课程本科全周期覆盖:在口腔医学专业通识课程学习阶段增设“手部技能训练”“临床早接触”课程,三年级专业课程学习阶段理论课和实操课程并行并重,四年级(临床实习前)开设“临床前实训”课程,大五全阶段临床实习结合基于案例的学习方法(CBL)教学。教学采用线上线下混合式教学,运用基于问题的学习方法(PBL)、CBL和情景教学方法等,充分调动学生多感官刺激,进阶式培养学生的临床操作技能。该教学改革旨在精准医疗新医科背景下,探寻培养服务健康中国的卓越口腔医学人才的新模式。
