In the process of patriotism education for primary school students, educational drama can play a very important role. However, the premise is that educational drama should be successfully integrated into the process of patriotism education of primary school students, instead of simply and mechanically stuffing educational drama into patriotism education of primary school students. As far as the integration mode of educational drama is concerned, educational drama can be divided into three kinds,namely,discipline-oriented drama education,infiltration-oriented drama education and activity-oriented drama. Therefore, the integration methods are also divided into three categories, namely, setting up educational drama courses, using educational drama to infiltrate patriotic education into other disciplines and carrying out activity-oriented drama education. 展开更多

This literature review primarily aims to explore and synthesise the previous studies in simulation education research conducted over the past five years related to the effects of simulation training on the self-efficacy of undergraduate pre-registration nursing students. The second aim of this study is to explore additional outcome variables that were examined in the previous studies. Five electronic databases were searched systematically. These databases were MEDLINE, CINAHL Plus, Scopus, Embase and PsycINFO. The PICO model was employed to identify the search terms, with a thesaurus being used to provide synonyms. Reference lists of relevant articles were examined and hand searches of journals were also undertaken. The quality of each study was assessed using the Simulation Research Rubric (SRR). A total of 11 studies were included. All studies explored the impact of simulation education on undergraduate pre-registration nursing. Six studies explored nursing students’ competence and performance and two papers examined their critical thinking. Problem solving, learning motivation, communication skills and knowledge acquisition were examined once. The majority of studies indicated that simulation training has a positive impact on pre-registration nursing students’ self-efficacy and other outcome variables. Furthermore, the study results indicate that simulation training is more dependable than traditional training, and students were extremely satisfied with the simulation training. However, most of the studies included in this review had several gaps, including study design, sample size and dissimilarities between the scales used. Further research with large samples, reliable and valid instruments, and outcomes measures (such as critical thinking and transferability of skills) is required to provide better insight into the effectiveness of simulation in undergraduate nursing education. . 展开更多

Zambia like any other country in most African regions is still grappling with the dynamics of harnessing technology for the betterment of Higher Education. The onset of the Covid 19 pandemic brought a test for the preparedness of the Zambian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in harnessing technology for pedagogical activities. As countries worldwide switched to electronic learning during the pandemic, the same could not be said for Zambian HEIs. Zambian HEIs struggled to conduct pedagogical activities on learning management platforms. This study investigated the factors affecting the implementation and assessment of learning Management systems in Zambia’s HEIs. With its focus on assessing: 1) system features, 2) compliance with regulatory standards, 3) quality of service and 4) technology acceptance as the four key assessment areas of an LMS, this article proposed a model for assessing learning management systems in Zambian HEIs. The literature on international students’ experiences frequently depicts them within a ‘deficient’ framework, highlighting their perceived lack of essential skills for managing their studies. Moreover, international students’ emotional experiences are often construed as personal and psychological attributes, with their emotions viewed as transient and pathological phases that they will eventually overcome to assimilate into the local context. However, there exists a dearth of literature investigating international students’ experiences from a sociological perspective, particularly concerning their emotional experiences within the broader social and political milieu. Utilizing a longitudinal research design to monitor 25 Chinese international postgraduates from multiple universities in London and Glasgow over the course of one year, this study illuminates the racialised, classed, and gendered dimensions of international students’ experiences in UK higher education through an exploration of their feelings of shame. Drawing on the research findings, it is evident that power relations operate insidiously and covertly to systematically frame international students’ experiences as personal or cultural ‘deficiency’. This process represents a form of misrecognition, which manifests in racialised, gendered, and classed feelings of shame, experienced at the personal level as insecurity, ‘stupidity’, exclusion, and self-doubt. Consequently, social and cultural inequalities within higher education are often situated at the individual level. 展开更多

Balancing family obligations and personal aspirations is crucial for college students in making life decisions. This critical review examined empirical studies on the effects of filial piety on college students’vocational identity and agency.According to identity capital theory, college students need a sense of agency to construct identity consciously and adapt to adulthood.Filial piety may profoundly influence this process as the core value and internalized social structure for the role of being an adult child in a Chinese family. However,no studies have been conducted from the identity capital perspective. This review found that filial piety had direct effects on college students'vocational identity and also indirect effects by shaping specific agency competencies. The impact of filial piety on the agency was more likely to occur through providing normative guidance about adult roles, influencing how college students view family as a supportive resource, and perpetuating parenting experiences.Based on these findings, this article suggested further examining the mediating role of agency between filial piety and identity development,as well as the effects of filial piety on the psychological foundation of agency development. This review suggested enhancing the agency of college students and encouraging reflections on filial piety in career education. 展开更多

Based on the teaching concept of “Ideological and Political Education in the Curriculum”, taking the curriculum of “Human Resource Management” as an example, this paper explores the reform of ideological and political education design from the perspective of moral education objectives and teaching contents. The course takes “carrying forward the craftsmanship spirit” as the main line, and takes” constructing a pattern of high-quality education” as the main task, which not only cultivates students’ professional skills in human resource management, but also integrates ideological and political elements into all modules of human resource management, pays attention to students’ ideological trends and attaches importance to students’ ideological education. In the teaching content, the course introduces ideological and political elements such as craftsmanship spirit, entrepreneurship spirit and Chinese traditional culture. In the recruitment and selection section, the importance of craftsmanship spirit is emphasized, and talents who strive for excellence and excellence are advocated for selection. In the performance management section, combined with entrepreneurial spirit, the value of innovation driven and efficient execution is explored. When discussing about employee development, it is important to integrate socialist core values and balance individual and collective interests. In the chapter of corporate culture, we will delve into the essence of traditional Chinese culture, such as team harmony, integrity, and professionalism to cultivate a good organizational atmosphere. Ideological and political education in the curriculum of Human Resource Management uses case analysis, group discussions and other forms to enhance students’ political identity, ideological identity and emotional identity, so as to deepen students’ professional ideal and ethics education. 展开更多
