Evaluation of the performance of existing support in underground tunnels is of great importance for production and interests.Based on field investigation,the shape and number of joints and fractures were investigated ...Evaluation of the performance of existing support in underground tunnels is of great importance for production and interests.Based on field investigation,the shape and number of joints and fractures were investigated in the mining area.Then,the stability of each structural blocks is analyzed by 3D wedge stability analysis software(Unwedge).Moreover,a new analysis method based on critical block theory is applied to analyze the stability of excavated laneways in continuous and discontinuous rock and monitor the stress changes in a fractured tunnel rock mass.The test results indicate that the 3D wedge stability analysis software for underground excavation can evaluate deep tunnel support.Besides,there is no direct relation between the size of the block and the instability of the tunnel.The support method,on large and thick key blocks,needs to be improved.In a broken tunnel section,U-shaped steel support can effectively promote the stress state of the surrounding rock.By monitoring the surrounding rock,it is proven that the vibrating string anchor stress monitoring system is an efficient and real-time method for tunnel stability evaluation.展开更多

With an analysis of various impacts on support system, the spares...Rational planning of spares configuration project is an effective approach to improve equipment availability as well as reduce life cycle cost (LCC). With an analysis of various impacts on support system, the spares demand rate forecast model is constructed. According to systemic analysis method, spares support effectiveness evaluation indicators system is built, and then, initial spares configuration and optimization method is researched. To the issue of discarding and con-sumption for incomplete repairable items, its expected backorders function is approximated by Laplace demand distribution. Combining the (s-1, s) and (R, Q) inventory policy, the spares resup-ply model is established under the batch ordering policy based on inventory state, and the optimi-zation analysis flow for spares configuration is proposed. Through application on shipborne equipment spares configuration, the given scenarios are analyzed under two constraint targets:one is the support effectiveness, and the other is the spares cost. Analysis reveals that the result is consistent with practical regulation;therefore, the model's correctness, method's validity as well as optimization project's rationality are proved to a certain extent.展开更多

Firstly, brief introduction about the concept of compreh...In this paper, meta-synthesis system approach (MSA) is applied to a consulting project on exploring constructing comprehensive transportation system in China. Firstly, brief introduction about the concept of comprehensive transportation is given to indicate that comprehensive transportation is an open complex giant system, which thus MSA is applied to exploring its constructing in China. A group argumentation environment (GAE) is applied to facilitate group divergent thinking process about what the concerned topics are in the project and acquire qualitative hypotheses for meta-synthetic system modeling. A multi-agent system model is constructed to analyze competitive relations of passenger transport between railway and highway as a demonstration of modeling by rule, one of 6 strategies of meta-synthetic system modeling. An evaluation support system is developed to integrate a variety of indicators and their related measure methods by a framework of input-output-outcome of comprehensive transportation to facilitate consultants to monitor current state of operation and management of transport system and generate alternatives of a set of indicators to evaluate efficiency or effectiveness of the whole system or its elements on demand.展开更多
