A total of 120 participants participated in two rounds of essay composition and feedback delivery. The findings indicate that learners who receive comments in the form of questions are more prone to make revisions compared to those receiving statements or imperatives. These results hold significant implications for educators and the ways they utilize written feedback to enhance learners’ writing skills.展开更多
Marxism women-theory advocates women to achieve gender equality and liberation through employment.But due to the influence of culture,if the promotion of female employment,women may face the dual pressure of housework...Marxism women-theory advocates women to achieve gender equality and liberation through employment.But due to the influence of culture,if the promotion of female employment,women may face the dual pressure of housework and work,that is,the promotion of female employment may deviate from the ruling effect of people’s happiness.This study aims to explore the relationship between labor time,cross-generational care and women’s subjective well-being by using the data of CFPS(2016).Findings are as follow.Firstly,the time spent on housework differs between men and women,and the burden of housework still falls on women.Secondly,women’s employment reduces women’s subjective well-being to a certain extent,but this effect turns into a positive one under the moderating effect of cross-generational care.China’s family culture weakens the negative impact of the increase in working hours of women to a certain extent.展开更多
Children from two-parent families have better outcomes,on average,than children from single-parent families.Yet the mechanisms associated with family structure and family process that produce divergent outcomes are le...Children from two-parent families have better outcomes,on average,than children from single-parent families.Yet the mechanisms associated with family structure and family process that produce divergent outcomes are less well understood.Based on data from the 2011-2015 National Health Interview Survey(N=26,783),I leverage the case of military families with deployment and examine the impacts of parenting quality,economic capital,and social capital on children’s psychological well-being.The regression results show that single parenthood produced by divorce,separation,and birth out of wedlock leads to worse child outcomes than single parenthood produced by military deployment,and family process partially explains the variation in children’s well-being beyond family structure.Married families,military or civilian,deployed or not,enjoy advantages that translate into positive child outcomes.Marriage,therefore,emerges as the primary axis of inequality,and maintaining a healthy marriage better promotes children’s well-being.展开更多

Facing the great demands and present difficulties of oral English classes, teachers have to conduct more study and practice to find out what roles that an oral English teacher has to take in the oral English classroom. Compared with the traditional teaching role in the English classroom, an oral English teacher has to fulfill more than one role in the classroom teaching so as to provide better learning conditions for students. Lacking more exposure to the real interaction with native speakers, students expect the oral English teacher to be a creator of the language environment. With various teaching and learning activities in the oral English classroom, the teacher has to be a good organizer to ensure every student to achieve improvement.
