Rich Connotation,Realistic Dilemma,and Practical Path of Teachers’Digital Literacy in the Era of Digital Intelligence

With the rapid development of information technology and the popularity of the Internet,digital education has become an important direction of modern education reform.Digital education provides a new way and tool for education and teaching,so that teachers and students can make better use of the application of information technology in the teaching process.Teachers’digital literacy has become the key to realize digital education.In the digital age,the level of teachers’digital literacy directly affects teachers’teaching effect and students’learning results.Therefore,improving teachers’digital literacy has become an urgent task of education reform.

The Role of Secondary School Teacher Training in Their Teaching Practices-A Secondary Publication

This work aims to analyze the effect exerted by the initial and continuous training of secondary school teachers in France on their teaching practices.For this,we carried out a secondary analysis of data from the TALIS survey(Teaching and Learning International Survey),conducted in 2013 in 34 countries,including France.In particular,we focus on practices related to the teaching methods used,classroom management,how to communicate,and the evaluative practices of teachers.In support of binary logistic regression models,we showed that the variables related to initial training play a weak role,and even exert a negative effect on certain pedagogic practices,leading to a reflection on the renovation of this training.On the other hand,our analyses highlighted the greater weight played by certain continuing education actions.

Exploring Teachers' Personal Practical Knowledge through Narrative Inquiry——A Case Study on a College English Teacher

Teachers play an important role in the successful implementation of the current curriculum innovation and their personal practi cal knowledge is a decisive factor in their teaching and that teachers' knowledge affects every aspect of the teaching act.This paper tries to explore teachers' personal practical knowledge of a college English teacher and her reading class.It shows how to present her teaching contents,design teaching methods and activities in order to accomplish her teaching tasks and teaching goals.The study combines narrative analysis of the reading design with a process inquiry about teaching and learning.Hopefully,the findings would shed some light on teach ers' professional development.

Research on Practical Education of Speciality Teachers in Vocational Colleges to Promote Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education

Curriculum-based ideological and political education is the inevitable requirement of constructing the pattern of ideological and political education in the new era.As the main leader and implementer of curriculum-based ideological and political education in vocational colleges,speciality teachers should take the fundamental task of moral education as the guidance,focus on it through curriculum,promote the organic unity of knowledge teaching,skill improvement and value guidance in the teaching process,and finally form a new ideological and political work mode in line with the requirements of“high-level vocational college and speciality”construction.At present,speciality teachers in vocational colleges have some problems in curriculum-based ideological and political education,which is mainly reflected in some speciality teachers’weak self-consciousness,poor understanding and integration ability.In order to effectively solve the problem,they have to establish the curriculum-based ideological and political education promotion mechanism led by the college Party committee,consolidate the institutional guarantee for speciality teachers in moral education,strengthen their consciousness and awareness,innovate and improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism of their dedicated education.

Integration and Development of Traditional Artistic Accomplishments in the Construction of Practice Teaching Bases of Universities and Colleges

Learning, inheritance and development of undergraduates' traditional artistic accomplishments is of realistic signifi cance in the modern society, integration of traditional artistic accomplishments in practice teaching will broaden the channels of modern undergraduates acquiring traditional artistic accomplishments. Learning traditional artistic accomplishments should be the colorful and vivid practice class on and off campus, moreover, students' recognition of traditional artistic accomplishments should be strengthened, and their understanding about traditional arts should be deepened. Full utilization of social resources of traditional arts helps learn the connotations of traditional artistic accomplishments, so that traditional artistic accomplishments will realize its theoretical and practical signifi cance in the rapidly-developing modern society.

Examining teachers' perceptions and practice of formative assessment in Chinese ESL classrooms

自2001年课程改革以来,中小学英语课堂形成性评价受到了教育管理者、研究者和实践者的广泛支持,但对于教师是如何理解和实施形成性评价的这一问题,还需要研究。本研究通过问卷调查方式探究中学英语教师对形成性评价的认识及其实施现状:(1)从六个维度(评价主体、评价构念、评价工具、评价时间、反馈、终结性评价与形成性评价之间的关系)了解教师对形成性评价的认识;(2)从五个方面(学习目标、反馈、终结性评价的形成性使用、不同学习阶段的形成性评价、自我和同伴评价)揭示教师形成性评价的实践特征。基于这些特征,本文为形成性评价教师培训提出了建议。

Knowledge of Cervical Cancer and Practice of Pap Smear Testing among Secondary School Teachers in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria

Introduction: Cervical cancer is one of the commonest cancers of the female genital tract and accounts for about a hundred and ninety thousand deaths each year, most of which occur in developing countries. Early cervical screening methods have contributed to the fall of cervical cancer deaths in the developed world. This is different in developing countries where people have limited knowledge about this disease condition and the screening methods for prevention. This study determined the knowledge and practice of cervical cancer screening among female secondary school teachers in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Method: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study in which self-administered questionnaires were returned by 142 respondents and results were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 17. Results: The mean age of the respondents was 35.6 ± 1.76 years. A high proportion of the respondents were aware of cervical cancer 106 (74.6%). About 44 (41.5%) knew of cervical cancer screening by Pap smear, out of which only 20.5% had done a pap smear. The most common reasons given for not doing the test were;not deeming the test necessary, not knowing where the test could be done and feeling of not being at risk of developing cervical cancer. Conclusion/Recommendation: Though the level of awareness of cervical cancer screening was high, the level of uptake of Pap smear was still very low. A national cervical cancer Pap smear campaign should be intensified to change the negative perception towards Pap smear test.

Analysis on the Construction of Enterprise Practice Base for Vocational Education Teachers - Taking Industrial Park as an Example

Higher vocational education is the main place for cultivating high skilled talents.Only teachers with rich skills can cultivate excellent skilled talents.In order to promote the reform of vocational education,the focus should be on building a team of high-quality professional teachers.In the Opinions on Comprehensively Improving the Teaching Quality of Higher Vocational Education that was issued by the Ministry of Education,it has been proposed that professional teachers should be encouraged to practice in enterprises,accumulate practical work experience,and improve practical teaching ability.The purpose of the vocational education community is to establish an enterprise practice base to meet the needs of the modem industry as well as effectively cultivate technical and skilled talents in line with enterprises.The industrial park industry is used as an example in this article to explore the operation mode of enterprise practice base in adapting to the development of the modem industry as well as to better serve the development of vocational teachers and the improvement of studentsJ professional ability.

Teaching Journal: An Effective Tool for Reflective Practice in Teaching among English Language Teachers

Through teaching journals,teachers can actively conduct true and continuous record,description,reflection,and summary of experiences and teaching behaviors with reflection and research value in their own teaching activities in order to make progress in regard to their teaching skills and classroom presentations.This is an effective way and tool to improve English teachers9 reflective practice in teaching along with their own professional development as well as to promote the role transformation as reflective teachers.Given the widespread concern of the reflective practice in teaching along with the fact that teaching journals are effective in reflective teaching,this paper explores this topic and suggests several implications for teaching via documentation and a case analysis of three samples obtained from an actual teacher's teaching journal.

Macao Secondary School EFL Teachers' Perspectives on Written Corrective Feedback: Rationales and Constraints

Corrective feedback on writing(WCF)has been one of the most controversial topics in ESL/EFL teaching.In the past decades,much has been disputed regarding the effectiveness and preferences of the quantity,focus,directness and source of WCF.With so much uncertainty,the researcher set out to investigate how research-informed secondary school teachers in Macao reported their beliefs,rationales,practices and constraints of administering corrective feedback for EFL writing in Macao secondary schools.Twelve secondary school teachers were recruited at a TESOL conference to conduct focus-group discussions.Similar to previous findings,results suggest teachers had clear rationales as to their ways of practising WCF.However,many expressed difficulties in acting according to rationales and beliefs.Despite their experience and knowledge,practical constraints such as school policies and teacher workload made it unlikely for them to follow their thoughts with feedback on writing.This study identified six sources of constraints that could prohibit practices and potentially reshape ones’beliefs,which sheds light on future directions of WCF research.

How to Cultivate an Excellent English-Teacher-in-Future?-A Study on the Changes on Pre-service Language Teacher Identity During the Practicum

For the teacher’s professional development,identity plays a crucial role in promoting the teacher’s maturity and skills.For pre-service teachers,the level of identity determines whether they are willing or even determined to take teaching as their future career,and also represents whether their professional development is smooth.Therefore,the research on pre-service teachers’identity is of great significance.Combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,this study aims to explore whether the identity of pre-service English teachers changes before and after the practicum and the influencing factors during the practicum through questionnaire surveys and semi-structured interviews.Based on the four dimensions of identity proposed by Xun,Sun,and Peng(2014),this study investigated the juniors before their practice and the seniors who had practiced for two months.It is found that the scores of careers belonging,foreign language teaching belief,English proficiency,work involvement,professional behaviour tendency,and foreign language teaching reform are higher than those of the students before the practicum.Through semi-structured interviews,it can be concluded that the factors affecting identity include personal factors,mentor factors,job content,and organizational support factors.According to the survey results,this study puts forward corresponding suggestions to improve the positive impact of practicum on students’identity.

Contribution of International and Comparative Approach to the Policy and Practice of Teacher Education

This study intends to identify the value and pitfalls of international and comparative approach for the policy and practice of teacher education.The structure of this article proceeds as follows:the first section focuses on explaining the meaning and the values of international and comparative approach;based on previous discussions,the second section makes a more in-depth analysis of the values of international and comparative approach to teacher education from five key themes;the final section of this article proposes and interprets the drawbacks of international and comparative approach in teacher education.

A New Exploration of Practical Teaching Reform in the Department of Plant Protection of Hebei North University

In view of the existing problems in the practical teaching of Plant Protection majors,such as more teaching contents,less comprehensive and innovative contents,disorganized practical teaching system,lenient assessment,insufficient experimental teaching facilities,insufficient practical teaching sites,and lack of continuity of practical teaching contents.The practical teaching of plant protection majors should adopt“open”practice teaching methods in terms of laboratory construction,innovative ability cultivation,practical teaching content highlighting comprehensive and innovative,and practical teaching time.The results of the survey on college graduates and enterprises show that under the“open”practice mode,Plant Protection students will have better overall performance.

全科医学师资质量评价体系建设研究进展

保障全科医学师资质量不仅是培养合格全科医生的重要基础,而且关系到全科医学与其他专业学科之间的关联,是提高全科医学地位、促进全科医学发展的重要保证。本文通过查阅国内外全科医生培训、全科医学师资培训的相关网站及文献,对全科医学师资的角色和功能、准入标准、质量评价标准、认证标准进行总结,并对我国全科医学师资质量评价及认证指标体系的发展进行展望,提示未来应构建适应中国国情的全科医学师资质量评价及认定指标体系,成立权威的全科医学师资专业委员会,制定全科医学师资的准入、评价和考核标准,建立系统完善的全科医学师资培训管理制度,在各省筛选出1~2家优秀全科医学师资培训基地,建立一支相对固定、优质的全科医学师资队伍,这将为我国全科医学师资培养的持续质量改进提供有益借鉴。
