BACKGROUND Knee diseases are more common in middle-aged and elderly people,so artificial knee replacement is also more used in middle-aged and elderly people.Although the patient’s pain can be reduced through surgery,often accompanied by moderate pain after surgery and neutralization,which not only increases the psychological burden of the patient,but also greatly reduces the postoperative recovery effect,and may also lead to the occurrence of postoperative adverse events in severe cases.AIM To investigate the analgesic effect of artificial intelligence(AI)and ultrasoundguided nerve block in total knee arthroplasty(TKA).METHODS A total of 92 patients with TKA admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were opted and divided into two groups according to the treatment regimen.The control group received combined spinal-epidural anesthesia.The research group received AI technique combined with ultrasound-guided nerve block anesthesia.The sensory block time,motor block time,visual analogue scale(VAS)at different time points and complications were contrasted between the two groups.RESULTS The time of sensory block onset and sensory block perfection in the research group was shorter than those in the control group,but the results had no significant difference(P>0.05).Duration of sensory block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control group(P<0.05).The time of motor block onset and motor block perfection in the research group was shorter than those in the control group,but the results had no significant difference(P>0.05).Duration of motor block in the research group was significantly longer than those in the control group.The VAS scales of the research group were significantly lower than that of the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The postoperative hip flexion and abduction range of motion in the research group were significantly better than those in the control group at different time points(P<0.05).The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the research group than in the control group(P=0.049).CONCLUSION In TKA,the combination of AI technology and ultrasound-guided nerve block has a significantly effect,with fewer postoperative complications and significantly analgesic effect,which is worthy of application. 展开更多

Foot ulcers are common complications of diabetes mellitus and substantially increase the morbidity and mortality due to this disease.Wound care by regular monitoring of the progress of healing with clinical review of the ulcers,dressing changes,appropriate antibiotic therapy for infection and proper offloading of the ulcer are the cornerstones of the management of foot ulcers.Assessing the progress of foot ulcers can be a challenge for the clinician and patient due to logistic issues such as regular attendance in the clinic.Foot clinics are often busy and because of manpower issues,ulcer reviews can be delayed with detrimental effects on the healing as a result of a lack of appropriate and timely changes in management.Wound photographs have been historically useful to assess the progress of diabetic foot ulcers over the past few decades.Mobile phones with digital cameras have recently revolutionized the capture of foot ulcer images.Patients can send ulcer photographs to diabetes care professionals electronically for remote monitoring,largely avoiding the logistics of patient transport to clinics with a reduction on clinic pressures.Artificial intelligence-based technologies have been developed in recent years to improve this remote monitoring of diabetic foot ulcers with the use of mobile apps.This is expected to make a huge impact on diabetic foot ulcer care with further research and development of more accurate and scientific technologies in future.This clinical update review aims to compile evidence on this hot topic to empower clinicians with the latest developments in the field. 展开更多

Characteristics analysis of rocket projectile based on intelligent morphing technology

Nose deflection control is a new concept of fast response control model.The partial nose of projectile deflects a certain angle relative to the axis of projectile body and then pressure difference emerges on the windward and leeward sides of warhead.Consequently,aerodynamic control force is generated.This control way has high control efficiency and very good application prospects in the ammunition system.Nose deflection actuator based on smart material and structure enables projectile body morphing to obtain additional aerodynamic force and moment,changes the aerodynamic characteristics in the projectile flight process,produces the corresponding balance angle and sideslip angle resulting in motor overload,adjusts flight moving posture to control the ballistics,finally changes shooting range and improves firing accuracy.In order to study characteristics of self-adaptive control projectile,numerical simulations are conducted by using fluid dynamics software ANSYS FLUENT for stabilized rocket projectile.The aerodynamic characteristics at different nose delectation angles,different Mach numbers and different angles of attack are obtained and compared.The results show that the nose deflection control has great influence on the head of rocket projectile,and it causes the asymmetry of the flow field structure and the increase of pressure differences of the warhead on the windward and leeward surface,which results in a larger lift.Finally,ballistics experiments are done for verification.The results can offer theoretical basis for self-adaptive rocket projectile design and optimization and also provide new ideas and methods for field smart ammunition research. 展开更多

Under the background of increasingly scarce ore worldwide and increasingly fierce market competition,developing the mining industry could be strongly restricted.Intelligent ore sorting equipment not only improves ore use and enhances the economic benefits of enterprises but also increases the ore grade and lessens the grinding cost and tailings production.However,long-term research on intelligent ore sorting equipment found that the factors affecting sorting efficiency mainly include ore information identification technology,equipment sorting actuator,and information processing algorithm.The high precision,strong anti-interference capability,and high speed of these factors guarantee the separation efficiency of intelligent ore sorting equipment.Color ore sorter,X-ray ore transmission sorter,dual-energy X-ray transmission ore sorter,X-ray fluorescence ore sorter,and near-infrared ore sorter have been successfully developed in accordance with the different characteristics of minerals while ensuring the accuracy of equipment sorting and improving the equipment sorting efficiency.With the continuous improvement of mine automation level,the application of online element rapid analysis technology with high speed,high precision,and strong anti-interference capability in intelligent ore sorting equipment will become an inevitable trend of equipment development in the future.Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy,transientγneutron activation analysis,online Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and nuclear magnetic resonance techniques will promote the development of ore sorting equipment.In addition,the improvement and joint application of additional high-speed and high-precision operation algorithms(such as peak area,principal component analysis,artificial neural network,partial least squares,and Monte Carlo library least squares methods)are an essential part of the development of intelligent ore sorting equipment in the future. 展开更多

Urban Air Mobility(UAM)is an emerging transportation system that aims at revolutionizing urban mobility through the deployment of small electric vertical takeoff and landing(eVTOL)aircraft.The development of UAM is largely driven by advances in Intelligent Technology(IT).This review article provides an overview of the UAM system and discusses the application of IT in UAM.Major challenges facing UAM are also identified,and an outlook on the future of this promising transportation system is presented.Our main conclusions suggest that IT is a fundamental driver of UAM,enabling a range of applications such as air traffic management and autonomous drone control.However,the UAM system is facing a number of challenges,including eVTOL technology,system integration issues,and noise pollution.Despite these challenges,the future of UAM appears promising;as a disruptive transportation mode,UAM is expected to play an important role in addressing the growing demand of urban transportation in the coming decades. 展开更多
