All-round Translation Teaching Approach Suitable for Adult Learners of the Open Distance Education

Through the analysis of the characteristics of the adult students in the open distance education and on the basis of constructivism,the researcher tentatively proposed an All-round Translation Teaching Approach under the guidance of the theories of constructivism in order to improve translation teaching of the open distance education.

Using distance education in teaching orthotic fabrication to occupational therapy students

Occupational therapy (OT) education requires educators to provide students with entry level skills in orthotic fabrication. These skills have been taught in a traditional face-to-face classroom and labs. The concept of distance education (DE) has evolved over the years with the advancement of the technology. DE started with print media, radio broadcasting, and progressed to utilizing video conferencing. Currently DE relies heavily on using the internet to deliver quality, cost-effective and convenient education. DE Literature focused on teaching basic knowledge, however, no research was found that compared DE to traditional education in teaching skills or the application of knowledge. This pilot study investigated the effectiveness of using DE pedagogy in teaching OT students the skills of splint making, and to compare effectiveness of DE to that of traditional classroom. Forty OT students participated in the study, they self-selected to be in the experimental, or control group. The experimental group received training on splint making via the Blackboard?, while the control group received similar training the traditional way. The quality of splints was evaluated;Mann-Whitney concluded that the difference between the means of the two groups was no significant, indicating that the quality of the splints were equivalent.

The Model of Open and Distance Learning for Teaching Indonesian Through Socio-Cultural Approach and Psychological Aspects to Students of Indonesian for Foreign

This study aims to find out the effect of the model of ODL （Open and Distance Learning） for teaching Indonesian for foreign and whether this model of ODL implements socio-cultural and psychological approaches. The students＇ learning of Indonesian for foreign is in so many aspects that it must be considered from both psychological aspects of students＇ language and cultural aspects. The research was carried out on foreign students＇ studying Indonesian language. The research method used action research. ODL model developed this concerning how the students are anxious in foreign language learning and language use in accordance with Indonesian culture. The model of ODL for teaching foreign Indonesian uses the Internet facilities such as email, Skype, VolP, Google Talk, circulating document with comments, chat, forum, CD, audio-video, stream media player, and e-learning system. Based on the results of this study which is that students study the model ODL for teaching Indonesian through socio-cultural approach and psychological aspects and students of Indonesian for foreign improve their ability to use the Indonesian language, students are able to converse fluently in Indonesian in accordance with Indonesian culture

Design and Implementation of the Dance Teaching Live Broadcasting System Based on the Distance Education Platform

With the rapid development of the modem information technologies,to promote the education informatization and share the educational and teaching resources,the live classroom in the distance education emerges as the times require.The live classroom expands the space-time boundaries in our education and teaching,and changes the traditional teaching methods.It is a new model of the distance education.In order to recognize and understand the impact of the live teaching on the dance teaching and promote the development of the live teaching in the dance education,this paper,from the perspective of the distance education,uses the theories and methods of the distance education to analyze the characteristics of the live teaching,which is a feasible way.

On the English Classroom Teaching Mode of Primary School under the Background of Distance Education

Primary school internet plus education is also a new trend in the implementation of the English Teaching in the Internet plus.With the high attention of the party and the state on Rural Education in remote areas,the distance education system under the background of Internet plus has been maturing.Therefore,this study aims to explore a new model for the implementation of primary English classroom teaching through the way of"Internet plus".New teaching methods,new teaching means,new positioning of teachers'role,new ways of teachers'interaction,new ways of learning and new ways of classroom evaluation.

Research on Autonomous Learning in Translation Teaching for English Majors Based on Distance Education

The study is based on a new translation training model-a di-process-controlled training model to study the effects of autonomous learning in a distance translation classroom. The author carried out an empirical study by using the collected data from a one-year-long distance translation classroom of 318 learners, including qualitative analysis on questionnaires and a case study. The results shows that autonomous learning is effective to improve the transaction proficiency and enhance learners learning motivation of distance translation.

Exploring the Flipped Classroom in Teaching English in Jiangsu Open University(JSOU)

The paper first looks into the 4-year-long practice of flipped classroom in teaching English,analyzes the data obtained from both teachers and students by means of questionnaires and interviews,and is mainly focused on the online micro-lesson,inclass communications and the learning outcome.The research findings have revealed that flipped classroom provides a new option for online learners,and is worthy of ongoing research.

WhatsApp as a Tool for Integration and Motivation in Distance Education

This article was based on a Distance Education project in the Pedagogy course which, for a semester, through active methodology, reviewed the contents of the course to increase the knowledge of these students as well as to carry out a pilot test of Hybrid Teaching. The research aimed to contribute to studies on the use of WhatsApp as a tool that favors the integration and motivation of students in Online and Hybrid Teaching. The project included classes before the classroom lessons, physical and online presence of tutors and teachers, communication via WhatsApp, e-mail, Facebook and the online course platform to review and raise the course fee, raising doubts and encouraging the participation and integration of each student. The object of the study was the use of WhatsApp throughout the course, due to the adhesion of students and teachers using it as a tool for integration and motivation for the graduates of the 17 poles participating in the project. It is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach and characterized by a survey. 104 students participated in the survey, which guarantees a confidence level of 93%. A questionnaire was elaborated and requested, via Google Forms, to understand aspects of integration and motivation, containing 10 questions using the five-level Likert scale. It was possible to verify that the tool presented a 77% satisfaction index with the use of WhatsApp considering its positive influence in the best use of the studies while 90% considered WhatsApp important in the integration of students with students, and teachers with students. Also corroborated that the student interacts better with the studies when there is an interpersonal relation present, in this case, through the classes of study and face-to-face held weekly and the immediate communication provided by WhatsApp group chats. Finally, there was a strong correlation (r = 0.8) between the intensity of satisfaction with the use of WhatsApp in this project and the satisfaction with the continuity of the use of WhatsApp in other courses.

Cultural Presence of the Cretan Biodiversity in the Minoan Period and nowadays： A Discovery School Teaching Approach

The educational project prepared for students of High School 15-17 years old with the subject of Biodiversity in Minoan Period and Nowadays. It was an interdisciplinary approach of ecological and cultural views of biodiversity. Special educational material was prepared with photos and texts of archaeological excavations and field sampling which was used in real and virtual environment, in t~ discovery teaching of Natural Sciences and History subjects. Students, in a scientific research project with constructive teachings, followed the procedures by which scientists gather, analyze, synthesize, process and evaluate information of organisms of Crete since 4000 years. Crete is located between the natural limits of three continents, having the unique privilege to host permanently or in migration, distinctive species of these three continents. After having the research questions, teachers collected the educational material, organized the work groups, implemented the didactic intervention in the classroom, had the field sampling of plants, recognized the synchronous local and scientific names of the plants, constructed the botany book, photographed the collected organisms and all the concentrated material was delivered to the team members.

Application of MR Technology in Teaching:A Case Study of UAV Agriculture&Forestry Plant Protection Curriculum

In order to solve the problems of insufficient training equipment,relatively lack of curriculum resources and single teaching means in the teaching of UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle)applied technology major,this paper studies the application of MR(Mixed Reality)in UAV applied technology major teaching,with the teaching of UAV agriculture&forestry plant protection curriculum as the carrier.The study will solve the pain points in teaching,improve the teaching ability and teaching information level,and increase the talent training quality of UAV,agriculture&forestry plant protection and related majors.Furthermore,it will create a protective,interactive,remote and scalable teaching experience for stu-dents,which can improve the teaching effect and reduce the teaching cost.

临床检验形态学教学在线课程的探索与实践

《临床血液学检验》是医学检验技术专业的必修课程,其教学任务是培养学生具备血液系统疾病的临床检验能力和素养,注重对学生实践能力的培养。细胞形态结果是很多疾病诊断的“金标准”,然而形态学的课程内容繁多、课时少、优质教学资源有限,尤其是血细胞形态内容复杂多变,故传统教学模式受到挑战。构建细胞形态学在线课程,一方面通过建设精品课程,提高在线课程的吸引力,扩大优质教育资源的受益面积,使学生积极主动地投入学习当中,提高授课成效。另一方面可拓宽教学时空,学生可随时学习。为了培养医学检验专业学生细胞形态的辨识和血液病的诊断等岗位胜任能力,提高细胞形态学课程的授课成效,文章借助移动教学独特的优势,构建细胞形态学的在线课程教学平台,开展细胞形态学在线课程的教学工作。

中医验案在临床带教及远程教育中的价值

根据中医验案的特点,结合临床带教及远程教育实践经验,探讨中医验案在临床教学和远程教育中的作用。鼓励学生认真整理临床验案,在整理的过程中加强思考,逐步养成自己的临床辨证论治思维,不断提高临床诊疗水平。倡导学生将中医验案写成论文进行发表,推动中医学术水平的提高,让中医验案本身的价值在临床教学中得到更好的发挥和利用。

开放远程教育背景下云教室有效教学应用的影响因素研究

云教室是国家开放大学为了实现优质教育资源共享提出的一种新型远程教育方式,研究对云教室试点的相关教师进行的深度访谈和教学观察,应用扎根理论的程序化方法分析材料,在三级编码的基础上建构了影响云教室有效教学应用的“条件—过程—效果”模型,归纳出硬件技术、教学设计、团队教学、制度环境等四个关键影响因素的主范畴,提出了云教室的建构与教学应进行充分的前期调研与评估,建构与云教室教学配套的师资体系和管理保障机制;根据云教室的教学方式进行有针对性的教学设计等建议,以期打造高效课堂,提高教学质量,真正实现新技术与课程教学的深度融合。

当前成人在线教学的问题审视与优化策略及其远程教育学阐释

当前成人在线教学的教师没有明确转换教师角色与任务,常常只是将传统课堂搬迁到网络上,在线主体的心理距离因时空分离不断扩大,教师对在线教学的认知、行为与情感投入不够,强烈影响了学员的学习投入感、师生疏离感与教学成效。从远程教育学看,成人远程教育的关键是设计优秀在线课程并提供学习支持服务以实现三种交互,所以,成教的直播课、录播课、仿真技能课的有效实施都需利用对应的社交平台与工具平台设计课前课中课后的支持服务,依据布鲁姆教学目标的分类区别化设计成人在线教学策略,根据内容特征与学员情感需要设计多种混合式教学,利用平台记录的学习大数据及其画像,从交互距离与远程学员自治两个维度让师生获得动态、整全的及时诊断与警示。

成人继续教育远程化教学模式改革研究

随着科技发展,网络越来越普及化,在线学习的比率逐渐提高,传统的高校成人继续教育已不能完全满足社会的需要,尤其是成人教育具有特殊性,成人学生既要工作又要学习,全部在校学习可能会占用工作时间,所以推动成人教育远程化教学模式改革,是成人继续教育的必然之路。针对亳州职业技术学院成人继续教育在线教学改革,提出了多种举措并得以实施,取得了较好的成效,为皖北乃至全国的成人继续教育远程化教学提供了宝贵的经验。

互联网背景下远程教育中数字教材建设研究

教材是教育的重要载体,但纸质教材不能更好地服务于远程教育,作为传统教材的进化产物,数字教材应运而生,数字教材的推广是顺应信息时代学习方式更新和教学改革的必然趋势。如何建设数字教材、正确认识数字教材与纸质教材的关系、充分发挥数字教材的价值、支撑教学质量的提升,是数字教材的根本任务。通过梳理远程教育教学交互的现状,提出优化策略,同时挖掘数字教材的内涵与优势,提出数字教材与远程教育有机融合后在应用中存在的问题及研究对策。

护理本科生线上教学时的学习投入度及其影响因素

目的线上教学是基于远程技术支持的教学模式,它为学习者提供了强大的自主性和灵活性,可以更好地适应现代社会快速变化的学习需求,并拓展教育边界。然而长期的线上教学也存在一些挑战和问题,学习者需要具备一定的自律性和良好的身心素质,以克服线上学习的困难。为确保护生的学习投入度和学习状态,提高线上教学的教学质量,本研究调查了线上教学背景下护理专业护生的学习投入度现状及影响因素,并提供了解决护理学习投入度问题的建议。方法2022年12月,选取山东省有进行线上教学教学背景的五所公立医学院校全日制护理本科生1251人,使用学习投入度、学业自我效能感、广泛性焦虑、阿森斯失眠量表等5个量表进行线上问卷调查。结果学习投入度量表总得分为79.83±23.44分。多元线性回归分析显示,学业自我效能感量表平均得分、焦虑量表平均得分和选择专业的原因(个人意愿)是学习投入度的影响因素(P<0.05)。结论线上教学背景下护生的学习投入度水平偏低。自我效能感越强的护生学习投入程度越高,专业调剂为护理专业护生的学习投入度较低,依据个人意愿选择专业的护生的学习投入度较高,焦虑量表平均得分可以显著负向预测学习投入度。因此,需要社会、学校和老师等多层面,从护生选择专业的原因等角度出发,提升学业自我效能感,降低其对线上教学模式问题反馈不及时、学习内容不到位等的焦虑,以提高护生的学习信心和课堂参与度,确保护生的学习投入度。

基于Matlab的电路实时仿真平台设计与实现

随着互联网技术的发展和新冠肺炎疫情的蔓延,远程教育正在大规模普及。为了克服传统电路实验在设备、时间、地点等方面的局限,结合虚拟仿真的特点和优势,应用Matlab/Simulink仿真技术和三维建模等技术,讨论了电路实时仿真平台的设计和实现。学生可以在交互式图形环境下设计电路仿真模型,并将其生成算法进行在线调试和运行,充分调动了学生的自主学习积极性,开发其创新潜力。上述实验平台已成功应用在武汉大学经典控制理论的实验教学中,一系列创新实验获得了良好的教学效果和学生问卷调查的反馈,对教育改革具有潜在的推动作用。

接受美学视阈下英语诗歌翻译教学研究

接受美学是以读者为中心的美学理论,强调读者对译本的接受程度,从读者的角度进行译本创作。诗歌翻译是“带着镣铐的舞蹈”,在翻译教学中以接受美学理论为依据,以“隐含读者”“审美距离”为切入点,论述接受美学在诗歌翻译中的融合作用,培养学生主体性与创造性,引导学生有意识地树立期待视阈,以促进其对诗歌进行批判、创作与欣赏,并收获全新审美体验。
