The test results show that the temperature of an external steel web- plate is higher than that of an internal web-plate due to the difference in solar radiation. Air temperature inside the box matches the average temperature of the whole steel box. Based on actual measurements, a transient thermal analysis with multiple boundary conditions is also carried out by a software program ANSYS. Convective boundary situation and states of solar radiation on steel web plates in different situations are determined in the analysis. The feature of the temperature field is preliminarily achieved through a comparative study between the actual measurement and the finite element analysis. The computed results are in good consistence with the actual measurement results, with the maximum difference within 2 ℃. This theoretical model was solved using a finite element method. The results show that the surface temperature of the steel disk does not increase consistently as a function of the radius; the highest temperature appears short of the maximum radius. The relationship between the surface temperature and the mixed friction time is exponential. With a friction time of 15 s, the tem-perature reached 465.9 °C. Simultaneously, the internal thermal stress is larger than the yield stress of the material, causing a warping deformation of the steel disk. The largest axial deformation is 0.32 mm. The results of the experiment suggest that the de-formation is the same as that obtained from numerical simulation. Therefore, deformation of the steel disk must be considered dur-ing the study of the characteristics of a HVD.展开更多

Simulation resuits show that the temperature distribution of the weld gradually decreases toward periphery in a radiate format, whose center is the probe, and the highest temperature in the weld can reach about 400℃. The initial terminal of the weld is a zone, in which the temperature gradient is great, and defects of the welding are easily produced in this zone. Temperature change at the end of the welded joint is as layer variation, the local serious defects are not easy to produce in this zone.

文摘To study active heat insulation roadway in high temperature mines, the typical high temperature roadway of−965 m in Zhujidong Coal Mine of Anhui,China,is selected as prototype. The ANSYS numerical simulation method is used for sensitivity analysis of heat insulation layer with different thermal conductivity and thickness,as well as surrounding rock with different thermal conductivity and temperature on a heat-adjusting zone radius, surrounding rock temperature field and wall temperature. The results show that the heat-adjusting zone radius will entirely be in the right power index relationship to the ventilation time.Decrease in thermal conductivity and increase in thickness of insulation layer can effectively reduce the disturbance of airflow on the surrounding rock temperature, hence, beneficial for decreasing wall temperature. This favourable trend significantly decreases with ventilation time, increase in thermal conductivity and temperature of surrounding rock,heat-adjusting zone radius, surrounding rock temperature field, and wall temperature.Sensitivity analysis shows that the thermal physical properties of surrounding rock determine the temperature distribution of the roadway, hence, temperature of surrounding rock is considered as the most sensitive factor of all influencing factors. For the spray layer, thermal conductivity is more sensitive, compared to thickness. It is concluded that increase in the spray layer thickness is not as beneficial as using low thermal conductivity insulation material. Therefore, roadway preferential consideration should be given to the rocks with low temperature and thermal conductivity. The application of the insulation layer has positive significance for the thermal environment control in mine roadway, however, increase in the layer thickness without restriction has a limited effect on the thermal insulation.

文摘To show the distribution of a temperature field on a steel disk and to prolong the service life of a friction pair in a Hy-dro-Viscous Drive (HVD) device, a theoretical model of a transient temperature field was established, based on the theory of heat conduction. Therefore, deformation of the steel disk must be considered dur-ing the study of the characteristics of a HVD.
文摘Three kinds of mathematical models representing welding heat sources are presented. Among them, Gaussian model and double ellipsoidal model are used to analyze the thermal distributions with finite element method. At the same time, this paper analyzed the influences of the heat source models, the latent heat and the welding parameters on the temperature distributions. The comparisons between the simulated results and the experiments show double ellipsoidal model is good for three-dimensional numerical simulations. Furthermore, the adaptive mesh technique is applied in the three-dimensional model which greatly reduces the number of nodes and elements in the simulation.

文摘Three-dimensional finite element model was established to simulate temperature fields of T-joint titanium sheets during TIG welding with finite element method (FEM) software. Temperature dependent material properties and the effect of latent heat were considered. A technique of element birth and death was used to simulate the process of welded metal filling. Dynamic variation process of temperature fields during T1G welding was achieved. The simulated results agreed well with the measured results.
