Operation and Management of Electrical Equipment in Iron and Steel Enterprises

How to ensure the reliable operation of the complex and huge electrical system composed of a large number of electrical equipment in iron and steel enterprises?Combined with working experience,the author introduces four main factors affecting the normal operation of equipment,analyzes five main problems existing in the operation and management of electrical equipment,and puts forward corresponding improvement measures,so as to improve the management level of electrical equipment in iron and steel enterprises.

The Application Value of Sanitary Wipes and Medical Alcohol+Gauze Disinfection Method in the Management and Use of Medical Equipment

Objective:To analyze the effect of sanitary wipes and medical alcohol+gauze disinfection methods on the management and use of medical equipment in hospitals.Methods:From February 2023 to August 2023,80 anorectal surgery medical instruments and equipment were randomly sampled as observation samples,and they were grouped using the random number table method(40 instruments in each group).One group was managed with sanitary wipes and medical alcohol+gauze disinfection method(observation group),and the other group was managed with medical alcohol+gauze disinfection method(control group).The degree of contamination on the surface of instruments and equipment and the staff satisfaction of both groups was noted and compared.Results:After cleaning and disinfection,the relative luminescence luminosity(RLU)value of the surface contamination of the sample instruments and equipment decreased significantly(P<0.05);and after cleaning and disinfection,the relative luminescence luminosity(RLU)of the observation group’s instruments and equipment decreased significantly,and the value was lower than that of the control group,(P<0.05);the results of the nursing job satisfaction questionnaire showed that the scores of each survey item in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,(P<0.05).Conclusion:Integrating sanitary wipes and medical alcohol+gauze disinfection method into the management and use of medical equipment not only improves the disinfection of medical instruments but also improves the job satisfaction of nursing staff.Therefore,this method should be popularized.

Research on Effective Access for Strengthening and Improving the Management and Benefit use of Large Instruments

The purchasement and development as well as the benefit of utilization for the large equipment in universities of China are analyzed in this paper, the paper in dicates that in utilization of large equipment the contradictions such as urgency and necessity for the purchasement and development of large equipment and serious waste in resources since inadequacy of annual utilization rate of large equipment are existed, it also raises that the key step of giving full play to the benefit of large equipment is to strengthen management and development after the equipment are purchased, the paper regards through stressing standardized management and maintenance、opening the laboratory、improving the functions of equipment、renovating technology、fully examining and scientifically deciding before purchasement, the investment benefit for the large equipment can be raised effectively.

Prevention and management of fractured instruments in endodontic treatment

Intracanal instrument fracture is an unpredictable and problematic occurrence that can prevent adequatecleaning and shaping procedures and influence the prognosis of endodontic treatment. The prevalence of instrument fracture is reported to range between 0.28% and 16.2%. This article presents an overview of the prevention and management of instruments fractured during endodontic therapy on the basis of literature retrieved from Pub Med and selected journal searches. Instrument fracture occurs because of reduced metal fatigue and/or torsional resistance. The reasons include canal morphology and curvature, manufacturing processes and instrument design, instrument use times and technique, rotational speeds and operator experience. With the development of various equipment and techniques, most of the retained instrument separations can be removed safely. However, in canals without associated periapical disease not every fractured separation should be removed from difficult locations because of the increased risk for root perforation and fracture. In difficult cases, either retain or bypass the fragment in the root canal and ensure regular follow-up reviews. Fractured instruments retained in the presence of periapical disease reduce significantly the prognosis of endodontically treated teeth, indicating a greater need to attempt the removal or bypass of the file separations. Apical surgery might be required in some instances, emphasizing the importance of preventing instrument fracture.

Improving Equipment Management and Meeting the Requirements of Establishing Modern Enterprise System

Establishing modem enterprise system is the orientation of the reform of state-owned enterprises. Based on the management experience in Shanxi Aluminium Plant, this paper indicates that it is necessary that enterprise equipment management must set up a series of modern management concepts, explore feasible philosophy for equipment management with enterprise characteristics, and establish a set of scientific equipment management operational system in order to meet the requirements of establishing modern enterprise system and to promote the development of state-owned enterprises.

Characteristics and management strategy of the devices configured in Baosteel's domestically-integrated 60000 m^3/h air separation unit

Baosteel＇ s No. 8 air separation unit（ASU） is the first domestically-integrated 60 000 m^3/h ASU. This paper describes the mechanical equipment, the design and the configuration characteristics of this unit. The potential failure modes of the mechanical devices are deduced via analyses on the failure history of similar devices in other ASUs. Finally, this paper also brings up suggestions on daily maintenance, overhaul and purchases of spare parts.

Promoting standardized management of loaner instruments

Objective The purpose of the present study is to provide scientific evidence for the implementation of standardized management of the loaner instruments by examining the process of receiving through issuing steps and analyzing challenges encountered by the CSSD of our hospital. Methods The loaner instruments were collected and categorized into the control group( 2 639 pieces during the period of January 2013 to December 2014) and the observation group( 2 418 pieces during the period of January 2015 to December 2016). The possible causes of the challenges were carefully investigated and analyzed. Results After the implementation of standardized management procedures,the efficiency and qualified care of the loaner instruments was significantly improved by measuring qualified rate. The difference in the qualified rate between control and observation groups was statistically significant( P < 0. 01). Conclusion The implementation of the standardized management procedures is important for central sterilization supply departments in guarantee of safe supplies of the loaner instruments,reducing operation risks,and ultimately ensuring patient safety.

Validating Governance Performance Indicators for Integrated Coastal and Ocean Management in the Southeast Region of Cuba

The importance of evaluating the success of policies developed to effectively manage coastal and marine resource use is well documented. However, few frameworks exist that allow for a comparative examination of existing policy instruments, as opposed to specific initiatives, which assess governance performance aimed at addressing issues arising in the coastal zone. This paper describes the process and findings for evaluating the feasibility of a modified Coastal Sustainability Standard (CoSS) framework that seeks to measure the effectiveness of individual planning instruments within overlapping spatial boundaries in the landward and marine areas in the southeast region of Cuba. Through workshops conducted in Santiago de Cuba and Guamá municipalities with key representatives involved in coastal management and planning, the utility of the framework was assessed using the main instruments of territorial planning in Cuba, namely integrated river basin management, territorial planning in coastal municipalities and marine and coastal management. While, the findings suggest that the modified CoSS framework can be used to assess the effectiveness of these planning instruments in the region, and workshop participants also suggested improvements to better match its use to the characteristics of the study region.

Emergency management of nursing human resources and supplies to respond to coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic

Objective:To introduce the emergency management of nursing human resources and supplies of a large general hospital when facing the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Method:The Nursing Department of the hospital fully executed its functional authority to establish a three-level echelon of sustainable support,allocate human recourses dynamically,organize pre-service training,supervise the key working steps,formulate positive incentive methods,and deploy medical supplies scientifically.Result:By taking these strategies,the hospital effectively improved the coping capacity of the nursing team and played a positive role in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.Conclusion:The emergency management of nursing human resources and material resources for COVID-19 of the hospital is successful.But several deficiencies were identified as well,which indicated that the hospital needs to establish an efficient emergency management system,and pay attention to the practice of nursing emergency plans to enhance coping capacities in public health emergencies.

Several Key Issues in Networking Management of Analytic Instruments

To improve the application of networking to analytic instruments, a kind of networking method based on conversion module between serial port RS-232 and protocol TCP/IP of MOXA Company is studied and compared with traditional methods. Several characteristic classifications of equipment are summarized, and the methods of relevant data treatment are introduced. Development and psychometric evaluation of the radiographers’ competence scale

Assessing the competence of registered radiographers’ clinical work is of great importance because of the recent change in nursing focus and rapid technological development. Self-assessment assists radiographers to validate and improve clinical practice by identifying their strengths as well as areas that may need to be developed. The aim of the study was to develop and psychometrically test a specially designed instrument, the Radiographers Competence Scale (RCS). A cross sectional survey was conducted comprising 406 randomly selected radiographers all over Sweden. The study consisted of two phases;the development of the instrument and evaluation of its psychometric properties. The first phase included three steps: 1) construction of the RCS;2) pilot testing of face and content validity;and 3) creation of a web-based 54-item questionnaire for testing the instrument. The second phase comprised psychometric evaluation of construct validity, internal consistency reliability and item reduction. The analysis reduced the initial 54 items of the RCS to 28 items. A logical two-factor solution was identified explaining 53.8% of the total variance. The first factor labelled “Nurse initiated care” explained 31.7% of the total variance. Factor 2 labelled “Technical and radiographic processes” explained 22.1% of the total variance. The scale had good internal consistency reliability, with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.87. The RCS is a short, easy to administer scale for capturing radiographers’ competence levels and the frequency of using their competence. The scale was found to be valid and reliable. The self-assessment RCS can be used in management, patient safety and quality improvement to enhance the radiographic process.

Opening and Sharing of Large-scale Instruments and Equipment in Agricultural Research Institutes:A Case Study of Environment and Plant Protection Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences

基于Android平台的电子信息系统在手术室仪器设备电子化动态管理中的价值研究

目的:构建基于Android平台的电子信息系统,探讨其在手术室仪器设备电子化动态管理中的应用价值。方法:采用Java开发语言、SQL Server 2008 R2数据库开发工具、浏览器与服务器(B/S)架构,设置Linux内核层、运行层、函数库、应用框架和应用层构建基于Android平台的电子信息系统。选取2023年4-9月上海健康医学院附属崇明医院手术室在用的145件仪器设备,基于Android平台电子信息系统应用前采用人工手工登记,对比Android平台电子信息系统应用前后手术室仪器设备管理质量评分、运行质量和管理人员能力评分。结果:应用Android平台电子信息系统后仪器设备使用和归位速度、安全性能、维修速度和清洁质量评分分别为(39.01±1.38)分、(39.79±1.05)分、(38.85±1.22)分和(38.49±2.41)分,均明显高于应用前,其差异有统计学意义(t=3.313、19.407、26.957、8.010,P<0.05);应用Android平台电子信息系统后仪器设备开机率、成本效益增幅和社会效益增幅分别为(96.17±5.33)%、(7.93±1.15)%和(10.74±1.09)%,均高于应用前,仪器设备运转率为(9.21±1.35)%,低于应用前,其差异有统计学意义(t=9.386、59.769、47.946、27.078,P<0.05);应有Android平台电子信息系统后仪器设备管理人员的理论知识、操作能力和安全意识考核评分分别为(39.79±2.07)分、(39.11±2.18)分和(19.65±2.44)分,均明显高于应用前,其差异有统计学意义(t=9.261、7.645、7.253,P<0.05)。结论:基于Android平台的电子信息系统应用于手术室仪器设备管理,有助于实现仪器设备的电子化动态管理,提高仪器设备管理质量和管理水平。
