Characteristics of Authigenic Pyrite and its Sulfur Isotopes Influenced by Methane Seep--Taking the Core A at Site 79 of the Middle Okinawa Trough as an Example

Objective Authigenic pyrite often develops extensively in marine sediments,which is an important product of sulfate reduction in an anoxic environment.It has a specific appearance and complicated sulfur isotopic properties,and acts as important evidence of methane seep in marine sediments.Strong AOM（anaerobic oxidation of methane）activity has developed in the Okinawa Trough.

Two-Photon Fluorescence Properties and Ultrafast Responses of a Hyperbranched Diketo-Pyrrolo-Pyrrole Polymer with Triphenylamine as the Core

The two-photon fluorescence properties and ultrafast responses of a hyperbranched polyyne （hb-DPP-J2） with triphenylamine as the central core, Diketo-Pyrrolo-Pyrrole as the connecting unit and electron acceptor are studied. The polymer has a D-π-A-π-D conjugated structure along the extended polyyne w-bridge systems, and the effective condugated unit repeats itself in the whole hyperbranehed polymer chain. The polymer exhibits a large two-photon absorption cross section and high fluorescence quantum yields. The ultrafast dynamic results give a deep understanding of the excited energy transfer processes under excitation, and reveal a long relaxation lifetime of the intramolecular charge transfer （ICT） state.

Petrological Study on the Ductile Shear Zones in the Core of the Eastern Qinling Orogenic Belt in Western Henan

A series of ductile shear zones of the overthrust and strike-slip-types and related ductile shear metamorphicrocks, including tectonic melange and mylonites. were formed in the core of the Qinling orogenic belt in thecourse of the Caledonian-Indosinian ductilc and brittle-ductile reworking. The study on their petrography. va-riations in composition and conditions of formation is conducive to revealing the metamorphism-deformationhistory of the core of the Qinling orogenic belt and further to understanding the dynamic mechanism of its evo-lution.

Design of CERNET2-One of the Core Networks in CNGI

This article presents the network design schemes of CERNET2 including overall architecture, the backbone, core nodes, access solutions and the CNGI peer centers. CERNET2 connects 25 core nodes distributed in 20 cities of China at the speed of 2.5-10 Gb/s. CERNET2 has four unique features. First, its backbone adopts native IPv6 protocols, rather than IPv4/IPv6 dual stack. It is the largest pure IPv6 network in the world. Second, it provides an environment for testing and trial operation of China-made IPv6 core routers. It also allows tests of interconnection, interworking and interoperation among multiple vendors. Third, the large IPv6 address space enables the study on network addresses in a real network environment, which ensures the construction of a secured and trusted CNGI. Last, it is a test-bed for NGI applications.

Core level excitation spectra of La and Mn ions in LaMnO3

Manganese-based perovskite is popular for research on ferromagnetic materials,and its spectroscopic studies are essential for understanding its electronic structure,dielectric,electrical,and magnetic properties.In this paper,the M-edge spectra of La ions and the M-edge,L-edge,and K-edge spectra of Mn ions in LaMnO3 are calculated by considering both the free-ion multiplet calculation and the crystal field effects.We analyze spectral shapes,identify peak origins,and estimate the oxidation states of La and Mn ions in LaMnO3 theoretically.It is concluded that La ions in LaMnO3 predominantly exist in the trivalent state,while Mn ions exist primarily in the trivalent state with a minor presence of tetravalent ions.Furthermore,the calculated spectra are in better conformity with the experimental spectra when the proportion of Mn3+is 90%and Mn4+is 10%.This article enhances our comprehension of the oxidation states of La and Mn within the crystal and also provides a valuable guidance for spectroscopic investigations of other manganates.
