Research on the Reform Path of Ideological and Political Education in Tourism English Courses in Higher Vocational Education

Tourism English in higher vocational education has profound humanistic,strong professional orientation,and instrumental characteristics.Through analyzing the current situation of ideological and political teaching in Tourism English courses in higher vocational education,it is found that there are too few ideological and political elements in the curriculum,the skills teaching and ideological education are not unified,and the ideological and political education in the curriculum tends to be empty preaching.The reasons for this are the weak ideological and political awareness of teachers,the emphasis on skills in textbooks over ideological and political education,and the conservatism of teaching methods.Based on the requirements of curriculum ideological and political education and teaching reform,a teaching reform practice path is constructed from four aspects:anchoring curriculum ideological and political goals,improving teachers’ideological and political awareness and educational ability,creating ideological and political-oriented textbook resources,and integrating ideological and political teaching methods through multiple channels throughout the entire process,in order to cultivate students with patriotism,international vision,and professional skills.

Exploration of the Curriculum Reform Path in the Period of High-Quality Development of University Educational Psychology

The theoretical and applied characteristics of educational psychology courses in colleges and universities are prominent,and actively promoting curriculum reform is more conducive to promoting the implementation of talent training goals,which is in line with the practical needs of social development for high-quality talents.However,curriculum reform is a systematic project,which involves the innovation of curriculum content systems,teaching methods,teaching evaluations,and so on.This paper mainly expounds on the curriculum reform path in the period of high-quality development of educational psychology in colleges and universities,hoping to play a reference role in improving the level of education management.

Application of Experiential Teaching in the Reform of College Students' Mental Health Course from the Perspective of Life Education

In recent years,the phenomenon of college students5 indifference to life occurs frequently which seriously damages the healthy growth of college students.Life education should be integrated into mental health education courses in colleges.Experiential teaching is a type of teaching activity that is characterized by students5 personal experiences and initiative,focusing on the participation of practical activities.Compared with traditional lectures,it improves students'interest and enthusiasm.In the mental health course,experiential teaching applies theoretical knowledge to real life and promote the improvement of students9 mental health to shape stable and mature personalities and eventually,promotes the development of life.College students5 mental health course should be integrated with experiential teaching practice in the perspective of life education,so as to better improve the teaching effect and guide students to form a correct outlook of life.

Research on the Reform and Practice of “Basic Nursing Skills Practice” Course Assessment

Objective: “Basic Nursing Skills Practice” is a key course connecting classroom and clinical teaching in nursing specialty teaching. Nursing practice ability is one of the core abilities of nurse practitioners. Therefore, the teaching quality of this course is directly related to the quality of nursing work. To improve the teaching quality of practical course, the assessment reform of the “Basic Nursing Skills Practice” course was carried out among the nursing undergraduates to explore a reasonable and fair assessment mechanism. Method: In the assessment of “Basic Nursing Skills Practice” course, the assessment included individual skill operation assessment, virtual simulation assessment and team comprehensive skill assessment. The assessment proportion was adjusted from 100% for the final examination to 50% for the middle and final examinations respectively. The assessment method was changed from individual skills assessment at the end of the term to a combination of individual skills assessment at the midterm and virtual simulation assessment and team skills assessment at the end of the term. The method has changed from summative evaluation to a combination of formative evaluation and summative evaluation, and self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the effect. Results: After implementing the assessment reform, 86.84% of the students were satisfied with the assessment reform, and the percentage of students with scores above 80 reached 100%. The highest score is 93.0, while the lowest score is 83.0, and the average score was 88.0. Conclusions: High satisfaction of students with basic nursing skills examination reform promoted the learning effectiveness and professional emotions, cultivated comprehensive quality and ability, promoted the realization of talent training objectives.

Thinking on the Teaching Reform of Computer Basis Course for Medical Specialty under the Background of Ideological and Political Education in Courses in the Intelligent Age

Ideological and political education in courses refers to integrating the ideological and political education in non-ideological and political course teaching. A Preliminary Study on Basic Instructional Design of Visual Design Based on Self-Determination Theory

The Fundamentals of Visual Design are a foundational element of modern higher education in China.Given the context of socio-economic development,there is an increasing demand for visual design professionals.In the teaching of basic visual design in universities,there is a need for substantial innovation and transformation in teaching concepts,methods,and models,as well as continuous optimization of instructional design.In practice,the comprehensive implementation of Self-Determination Theory(SDT)is crucial.By leveraging SDT,educators can stimulate students’intrinsic motivation and enhance the effectiveness of teaching.This paper focuses on the application of Self-Determination Theory in the foundational education of visual design in higher education institutions.First,it provides an overview of SDT,explaining its core concepts and fundamental principles.Then,it analyzes the current state of basic visual design education in Chinese universities,identifying existing problems and exploring the potential role of SDT in addressing these issues.Furthermore,it discusses how to integrate SDT into teaching design and practice to improve teaching outcomes and student motivation.The paper offers instructional guidance from the perspectives of fostering a sense of achievement and belonging,providing references and insights for future teaching efforts.Introducing Self-Determination Theory into the field of foundational visual design education in universities,the paper proposes corresponding instructional methods.This innovative approach,which combines theory and practice,helps to break traditional teaching models,stimulate students’interest and motivation in learning,and enhance teaching effectiveness.

Reform and Practice in Education for Marine Hydrodynamic Course Based on Experiment Verification

In view of problems on the traditional education for marine hydrodynamic course, such as obsolete course content and methods of instruction, disjointed theory and experiment, and obscure effects, this paper explores and proposes a new reform and practice strategy for the marine hydrodynamic course using numerical simulation and experiment verification. The reform in education based on experiment verification focuses on the high-level theory, the experiment research and the professional skills. The results show that innovative potential and independent learning ability of students are aroused and cultivated, which satisfy the teaching requirements in the new era.

A CDA Approach to Understanding Chinese Basic Education Reform From Sino-US News Reports

It has been about one decade since China takes effect the basic education reform, and this study chooses 14 news reports about Chinese basic education reform in the recent years from both America and China as the research samples, and analyzes the samples from the perspective of critical discourse analysis （CDA） to show whether there are differences in the two countries＇ news reports. The samples in this study are selected from the official websites of the two countries. Among the American news reports, some reports from New York Times and others from CNN; while among the Chinese reports, some are from China Daily and others are from CCTV. Under the theoretical framework of CDA, this paper is based on Fairclough＇s three-dimensional modes, and chooses Halliday＇s systemic-functional grammar as the analytical tool. It aims to reveal the hidden relationship between news reports language and ideology as well as power through the contrastive analysis. Through the analysis it finds out that the power relations and ideologies tend to exist in news reports on the issue of Chinese basic education reform. The purposes of news reports are not only to provide the latest information to readers, but also to influence the readers ideologies and at last even to control the readers＇ ideologies through reading of the very issue

The First Exploration on Basic Education Reform of University Computer

With the development of society, the demand for comprehensive talents of computer technology in all walks of life is increasing, and the basic computer education mode and teaching content of traditional college have been difficult to meet the needs of the development of students, also can't satisfy students' thirst for computer knowledge, and the teaching effect and teaching quality are deficient. Cultivating Learners' thinking Abilities in Foreign Language Teaching with Respect to Approaches of Reform in Basic Education

Analysis on the Actual Teaching Effectiveness of Course Ethnic Theory and Policy --School of Preparatory Education for the Minorities of Ningxia University Is Taken for Example

In this paper, many factors restricting and affecting the actual effectiveness of course ethnic theory and policy are summarized, among which student factors mainly include unavailable major foundation, new strange course, and having no idea about how to learn in the short term, narrow knowledge scope because of the examination-oriented education, poor self-control ability and attitude toward learning, and difference among the students of different minorities in the preparatory education, so that the actual teaching effectiveness is different. The teaching contents provided by teachers are not enough scientific, and the teaching pertinence is not strong; all parts of teaching and especially the effectiveness of processing the key and difficult points are not good enough, so that students are guided not very well to actively participate in classroom teaching activities, etc. Subsequently, an analysis is made around integrating and excavating teaching materials, understanding teaching contents, valuing the teaching process, and helping the students of preparatory education change from passively learning knowledge to initiatively accepting knowledge in a targeted way, and then some approaches, methods, and strategies of improving the actual teaching effectiveness of the course are explored.
