In this study,the tomography of dynamic stress coefficient(TDSC)was established based on a mechanical model of stress wave propagation in bedding planes and a mathematical model of the stress wave attenuation in rock ...In this study,the tomography of dynamic stress coefficient(TDSC)was established based on a mechanical model of stress wave propagation in bedding planes and a mathematical model of the stress wave attenuation in rock masses.The reliability of the TDSC was verified by a linear bedding plane model and field monitoring.Generally,the TDSC in the dynamic stress propagation of bedding planes increases with the following conditions:(1)the increase of the normal stiffness of the bedding plane,(2)the increase of the incident angle of the stress wave,(3)the decrease of the incident frequency of the stress wave,or(4)the growth of three ratios(the ratios of rock densities,elastic moduli,and the Poisson’s ratios)of rocks on either side of bedding planes.The additional stress weakens TDSC linearly and slowly during the stress wave propagation in bedding planes,and the weakening effect increases with the growth of the three ratios.Besides,the TDSC decreases exponentially in the rock mass as propagation distance increases.In a field case,the TDSC decreases significantly as vertical and horizontal distances increase and its wave range increases as vertical distance increases in the sedimentary rock layers.展开更多

Mathematical model for the dynamics of unsteady cavity boundary and the motion of the outside flow is set up, numerical and experimental investigations are made for the cavity flow past a two-dimensional bow- shaped body. The results show that because of the nonlinear effect, the trail of the cavity oscillates periodically, while the incipient point of the cavity almost remains fixed. Due to the unsteady oscilation of the cavity trail, the liquid pressure on the solid wall a little downstream of the reattachement point would rise sharply.展开更多

Given the existing integrated scheduling algorithms,all processes are ordered and scheduled overall,and these algorithms ignore the influence of the vertical and horizontal characteristics of the product process tree ...Given the existing integrated scheduling algorithms,all processes are ordered and scheduled overall,and these algorithms ignore the influence of the vertical and horizontal characteristics of the product process tree on the product scheduling effect.This paper presents an integrated scheduling algorithm for the same equipment process sequencing based on the Root-Subtree horizontal and vertical pre-scheduling to solve the above problem.Firstly,the tree decomposition method is used to extract the root node to split the process tree into several Root-Subtrees,and the Root-Subtree priority is set from large to small through the optimal completion time of vertical and horizontal pre-scheduling.All Root-Subtree processes on the same equipment are sorted into the stack according to the equipment process pre-start time,and the stack-top processes are combined with the schedulable process set to schedule and dispatch the stack.The start processing time of each process is determined according to the dynamic start processing time strategy of the equipment process,to complete the fusion operation of the Root-Subtree processes under the constraints of the vertical process tree and the horizontal equipment.Then,the root node is retrieved to form a substantial scheduling scheme,which realizes scheduling optimization by mining the vertical and horizontal characteristics of the process tree.Verification by examples shows that,compared with the traditional integrated scheduling algorithms that sort the scheduling processes as an overall,the integrated scheduling algorithmin this paper is better.The proposed algorithmenhances the process scheduling compactness,reduces the length of the idle time of the processing equipment,and optimizes the production scheduling target,which is of universal significance to solve the integrated scheduling problem.展开更多

The natural frequencies and mode shapes are acquired by the eigen-parameter analysis. By input of a typical earthquake excitation to the bridge system, the dynamic responses of the bridge, including the displacement and accelerations of the main joints of the structure, and the seismic forces and stresses of the key members, are calculated by the structural analysis program, based on which the main laws of the seismic responses of the bridge are summarized, and the safety of the structure is evaluated.展开更多

The dynamic modulus of elasticity, weight loss, the cubic compressive strength, compressive strength, tensile strength and cleavage strength of air-entrained concrete were measured after 0, 100, 200, 300, 400 cycles of freeze-thaw. The experimental results showed that the dynamic modulus of elasticity and strength decreased as the freeze-thaw was repeated. The influences of freeze-thaw cycles on the mechanical properties, the dynamic modulus of elasticity and weight loss were analyzed according to the experimental results. It can serve as a reference for the maintenance, design and the life prediction of dams, hydraulic structures, offshore structures, concrete roads and bridges in northern cold regions.展开更多

The most critical reason is that there is the difference between the dynamic and the static friction coefficients. Textures with different area ratios are fabricated on the surfaces of the upper PTFE-based composite and the friction tests are carried out on a reciprocating tribotester under the boundary lubrication and flat-on-flat contact conditions. The results show that there exists an optimal textured area ratio of 19.6% that can minimize the difference between the dynamic and the static friction coefficients.展开更多
By constructing a yardstick competition model of the performance equation,this paper analyzes the internal mechanism of local governments'competition of science and technology(S&T)expenditure in China.By using...By constructing a yardstick competition model of the performance equation,this paper analyzes the internal mechanism of local governments'competition of science and technology(S&T)expenditure in China.By using the Dynamic Spatial Panel Model,we analyze the competition empirically from five dimensions:geographical adjacency,geographical distance,administrative adjacency,administrative grade and economic distance.According to the results,the local governments'S&T expenditure showed a significant strategic competition phenomenon,that is,there is a“competition for innovation”,and the competition is more obvious between regions with close geographical proximity and administrative relations.“Competition for innovation”will be affected by political exogenous shocks such as those from the National People's Congress(NPC)of China;There is a“father-son competition”relationship between the superior and inferior governments.At last,the competition can promote the regional innovation significantly,which shows that“competition for innovation”is a kind of top-by-top competition.The conclusions may provide some useful suggestions for optimizing the relationship between local governments and promoting the construction of an innovative country.展开更多
