Reflection on Designing of Ecological Landscape at Northern Villages

Aiming at a series of existing problems of ecological landscape in farmland and in residential district at northern villages,and problems like low recovery rate of wastes,uncertain evaluation index of ecological landscape,managers' low consciousnesses and insufficient organization and management at northern villages;the corresponding planning suggestions were proposed.Scientific farming,developing ecological agriculture and perfecting ecological corridor system were of great significance to ecological landscape of farmland.Reasonable ecological construction,fully utilizing renewable energy sources,overall planning,improving land utilization rate and highlighting regional characteristic of ecological landscape were of great significance to ecological landscape of residential district.Tourism agriculture development should be emphasized,ecological landscape theory study enhanced,administrative organization perfected and reasonable ecological evaluation carried out,respecting the principle of ecology,fully exploring regional characteristics,strengthening government's guidance and considering villagers' will,so as to construct a society in which man and nature were in harmony.

Approaches of Landscape Design for the Construction of Low-carbon Ecological City

The prominent role and remarkable achievements of landscape design in the construction of low-carbon ecological city were analyzed in the context of global environmental issues. This study stressed that landscape architecture, as a comprehensive discipline handling human-land relationship, would play a significant role in the construction of low-carbon ecological city, and finally proposed a variety of approaches of landscape design for constructing low-carbon ecological city.

Status of and Strategies for the Planning and Design, Maintenance and Management of Chinese Urban Green Land——Application of Ecological Concepts in This Field

The sustainability of the planning and design goals of urban green land and that of its maintenance and management are mutually related and act as an organic whole. For a long time, the independence of the two is more prominent than their organic connection. This research has made preliminary considerations from three aspects. First, it concerns infusing the concept of ecology, contemplating and demonstrating space, as well as reducing the incidence of plant diseases and insect pests of urban green land. Second, the arrangement of flowers and trees for the planning and design of urban green land should comply with the biological attributes of flowers and trees to realize the organic unification of biological and scenic attributes of flowers and trees. Third, the planning and design of urban green land should attach importance to the organic unification of biological and scenic attributes of lawn grass seeds and reduce the difficulty of maintaining lawn. This research attempts to reduce the pressure of maintaining urban green land from the beginning, i.e. the planning and design of urban green land. It also tries to reduce the cost of maintenance and management to the realize planning and design goals of urban green land and the sustainability concerning its maintenance and management and arrive at the mutual unification of the planning and design as well as maintenance and management of urban green land.

Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Ecological Landscape Design of Urban Wetland Park: A Case Study of the Aixi Lake Wetland Park in Nanchang City

Wetland as one of the natural landscapes with the richest biodiversity and most closely related to our life is widely distributed all around the world, and capable of storing fl ood, preventing drought, purifying environment, adjusting climate, controlling pollution, maintaining regional ecological balance. Nanchang is famous for "City in the Lake and Lake in the City", and this paper begins with wetland resources in Nanchang City, analyzes problems of local wetlands. Taking the design of the Aixi Lake Wetland Park for example, this paper proposes suggestions for the renovation and improvement by analyzing the problems of its current landscape pattern, and specifi c problems in the landscape design of wetland park, and summarizes the ecological model fi t for the landscape design of urban wetland park in Nanchang City. The research contributes to the ecological restoration and conservation of wetland resources in Nanchang.

Research on Rural Landscape Design from the Perspective of Ecological Culture

Although rural landscape design brings convenience to farmers,there are many problems such as severe homogenization,lack of local culture and lack of comprehensive planning.The distant points of planning are refl ected by highlighting distinctive regional culture,advocating construction of ecological culture,and encouraging protection of traditional architecture.The problems in rural landscape design are settled by solving three agricultural problems and promoting the development of rural tourism,so as to achieve the coordinated development of rural economy and culture.

Research on the Design of Ecological Roof Based on Intelligent Management System

With the development of the times,the contradiction between human living and the natural environment becomes increasingly prominent.People pay more and more attention to the protection of the natural environment while improving the living standard.While,the emergence of the ecological roof can greatly improve the urban ecological environment and make full use of the architectural space.On the premise of analyzing the current status and significance of research on the ecological roof,this paper puts forward some ideas about the research on the design of the ecological roof with intelligent management system which can be used as a reference for the design of the ecological roof in the future,based on giving full consideration to the factors of ecological energy-saving,environmental protection,economic development,etc.,and summarizing the shortcomings of the traditional ecological roof.

The Impact of Climate on Ecological Design of Semnan City in Iran

Ecological design is defined as any form expression that minimizes environmentally destructive impacts by integrating itself with living processes. Ecological design is an integrative ecologically responsible design discipline. Layout of climate is one of the basics for the ecological design of Semnan. In this regards, the ecological design and the architecture of the city of Semnan are the means through which the city reinvents its identity and its structure and renews its face. Creating of healthy and restful occupant environments for human becomes one of the main infrastructure challenges upon modern ecological design and architecture which provides human health. Undoubtedly, there are also reasons for being optimistic upon the level of physical and mental wellbeing of individuals, reducing the incidence of diseases, and/or might reduce their total fuel consumption with adverse health effects, and environmental pollution. In the climate-related topics, the architecture of the building is considered with the climatic conditions of each region, which will result in more human comfort and energy saving in order to control the environmental conditions. The purpose of this research is to identify and review the architectural style and ecological design of the city in accordance with the climate and the climate guidelines that can be used in the areas of stability, comfort, beauty, health, energy efficiency, and the use of important climatic parameters (temperature, relative humidity, ...) extracted from the data bank of the Semnan Synoptic Station (1965-2005) and the Terjung Environmental Indexes. The thermal comfort conditions of the private and public bodies of Mahani and Givoni were reviewed and analyzed for the establishment of the buildings and seasons of the year. The results show that the weather is very cool at night in the months of March and October which are acceptable on the day in comfort area, and June, July and August are acceptable at the level of comfort in the city in the months of November to March in the day and October to March and in the months of April and May. Also, in the area of energy consumption, buildings should be placed in the east-west axis;long openings in the north and south of the building should be reduced to the sun.

Architecture Design Research Based on the Concept of Ecological

With the continuous development of industry and the progress of science and technology, energy resources consumption becomes increasingly serious. Under the sustainable development of environment, energy saving, environmental protection requirements improve continuously. As an energy-intensive industry occupying one third of the total energy consumption, the construction industry’s energy consumption problem becomes increasingly serious. In order to promote human ecological balance and sustainable development of society, combining the ecological concept into the architectural design is imminent. The so-called ecological architecture is based on the nature, guided by sustainable development, and combines the ecological theory into the architecture. This paper briefl y introduces the ecological architecture, discusses the application of ecological ideas in architectural design and its design principle, which plays an important role in the ecological construction’s integrating in architectural design.

Design of Pastoral Cultural Landscape Oriented by the Concept of Ecology Villages

China is increasingly attaching importance to coordination and scientific development between humanist and economic constructions, especially for protection on rural pastoral cultural landscape. For eco-village theory, planning and construction of pastoral culture landscape is just a breakthrough. The research used modern landscaping technology and analyzed pastoral landscape culture, facilitating transformation of agricultural production pattern and ushering in a new trend in terms of retaining rural cultural landscapes with Chinese characteristics and inheriting and innovating rural culture.

Appropriate Garden Design of Primitive Ecology Based on the Indigenization of Environmental Ethics

The accelerating urbanization process leads to aggravated environmental problems, thus garden design which is a creative activity connecting human and nature has attracted much attention, and also garden designers have had to rethink about environmental ethics and morals. This study, from the perspective of environmental ethics, duly proposed the brand-new concept of 'appropriate garden of primitive ecology', proceeded from the orientation, form, value, theoretical basis, realistic significance, culture and consumption psychology of 'garden of primitive ecology', fully developed outstanding ecological wisdoms and morals in traditional Chinese garden culture, boosted garden designs to the environmental ethics level of eco-justice, to seek for the approach to 'garden of primitive ecology' with indigenous Chinese environmental ethic characteristics.

On the Sustainable Development of the Design of Semiotics and Ecological Aesthetics

Semiotics is the meta-science of researching the general theories of symbols.Design is the result of the production practice of the human society,and what are designed is to meet the first demand of the human society and is the most important cultural creation;i.e.,the material cultural creation.All the cultural phenom ena are symbol phenomena,so the design phenomenon is also a kind of symbol phenomenon.The ecological aesthetics is a new aesthetic form,studying ecology itself,and it develops from the ecological aesthetic standard.This paper attempts to illustrate the relation of the two fields and find out how to realize sustainable development with the lead of the social values and the mainstream culture.

The Path and Value of Integrating Ecological Aesthetic Education into the Teaching of Environmental Art Design Major

Landscape Design Method of Sustainable Development Based on the Modest Principle

＂Over＂ phenomenon exists in all fields of society, and over thoughts and behaviors not only waste resources, but also destroy the ecological environment.Landscape design is also facing the dilemma of over planning, over design and over construction. Based on the paraphrase and explanation of ＂degree＂, the principle for modest landscape design with the concept of sustainable development was explored through the analysis on the concept of sustainable development, which emphasized the ＂degree＂ standard in landscape design, and the combination of regional features with native features to carry out ecological design, with the aim to facilitate the landscape designers to design the ＂modest＂ landscape with sustainable development.

On Waterscapes in Urban Residential Area from the Perspective of Rain Garden and Eco-pool Designs

Due to the high cost for operating and maintaining waterscapes, waterscapes in many residential areas have been laid aside and even become pollution sources. Taking MCC Beiluyuan (Residential Area) in Chongqing Municipality for example, concrete strategies of using natural terrains to design rain garden and eco-pool, collect rainwater, construct bottom of the bath, and combine plants were introduced, so as to explore a new approach of creating green and ecological modern residential landscapes.
