Research on the Application and Development of Digital Media Art in Urban Public Space Design

Digital media art is an emerging art form that combines digital technology and media art.It has huge potential to bring innovation to urban public spaces and provide them with vibrant artistic experiences.This article analyzes the design significance and value of digital media art in urban public space,its various forms of application in urban public space design,and the innovative ideas and paths that digital media art can take in urban public space to guide the future.The application and innovative methods of digital media art in urban public space design provide certain theoretical and practical references for urban planners and designers.

Assessing effect of interaction between the FTO A/T polymorphism(rs9939609)and physical activity on obesity-related traits

Background： The first described obesity-susceptibility gene was the fat mass and obesity-associated （FTO） gene. However, knowledge about FTO＇s potential modifying effect on changes in body weight achieved through a training program is still limited. We decided to study the association between the FTO A/T polymorphism （rs9939609） and obesity-related traits. Additionally, we investigated whether body mass and body composition, as well as metabolic variables observed in physically active participants, are modulated by the FTO polymorphism. Methods： A group of 201 young Polish women were recruited for the study. The genotype distribution was examined in participants measured for selected changes before and after the completion of a 12-week training program. Results： Our results confirm the association between the common FTO A/T polymorphism and increased body mass index （BMI）. Subjects with AA and AT genotypes had higher BMI during the entire study period compared with the TT genotype. Although parameters such as BMI, basal metabolism rate, tissue independence, fat mass percentage, fat mass, fat-free mass, total body water, high-density lipoprotein, and glucose changed significantly during the training program, none of the examined parameters changed significantly across the FTO genotypes （genotype × training interaction）. Conclusion： We confirm an association between the FTO A/T polymorphism and increased BMI; this polymorphism is therefore a candidate for influencing obesity and other disease-related phenotypes. Although the gene x physical activity interaction was not shown, we want to point out that promoting physical activity is an important approach to controlling the increasing obesity epidemic.2018 Published by Elsevier B.V. on behalf of Shanghai University of Sport. Research on Development of the Aesthetic Interaction and Interaction Design Theory and the Applications on Art Design Field

In this paper, we conduct research on development of aesthetic interaction and interaction design theory and the applications on art design fi eld. In this article to discuss the experience and the depth of the aesthetic object is limited in the fi eld of aesthetics, although both clearly show their subject or object, but if points in general is easy to fall into the quagmire of subjective idealism and mechanical materialism, it is off the aesthetic realm. It is on the basis of the unity between subject and object of this essay, it is in this, experience and the depth of the aesthetic object is worth exploring the intersection. Organizational communication and the reception aesthetics in their own unique research perspective and multi-disciplinary background, in the organization and the role of aesthetic gradually revealed, integration and interaction of the two is the inevitable trend of development. Under this basis, we propose the corresponding issues as the implementation that is meaningful.

On the Art Science of Film and Interaction Design

Research on the Development Trend of Art Design Patterns under the Perspectives of Interaction Design and Visual Reconstruction

In the paper, we conduct research on the development trend of art design patterns under the perspectives of interaction design and visual reconstruction. With the increasing of people’s living standard, people on the industrial product requirements are constantly increasing, industrial products have gradually become to meet people’s life comfortable, functional, aesthetic and cultural history of the pursuit of all kinds of needs and the carrier of many connotations it is because of these changes in art design. In this paper, we integrate the Bauhaus’ idea to construct the new idea of constructing the interaction design and visual reconstruction. To note here that includes both the facts to the reality of the fact that also includes the artistic truth, or “virtual reality experience such as writer”, sequence of works of art, etc., and the former is an artist biography, the object of art history. With these basis and references, we propose the new idea on the issues. The result is satisfactory.

Human Pose Estimation and Object Interaction for Sports Behaviour

In the new era of technology,daily human activities are becoming more challenging in terms of monitoring complex scenes and backgrounds.To understand the scenes and activities from human life logs,human-object interaction(HOI)is important in terms of visual relationship detection and human pose estimation.Activities understanding and interaction recognition between human and object along with the pose estimation and interaction modeling have been explained.Some existing algorithms and feature extraction procedures are complicated including accurate detection of rare human postures,occluded regions,and unsatisfactory detection of objects,especially small-sized objects.The existing HOI detection techniques are instancecentric(object-based)where interaction is predicted between all the pairs.Such estimation depends on appearance features and spatial information.Therefore,we propose a novel approach to demonstrate that the appearance features alone are not sufficient to predict the HOI.Furthermore,we detect the human body parts by using the Gaussian Matric Model(GMM)followed by object detection using YOLO.We predict the interaction points which directly classify the interaction and pair them with densely predicted HOI vectors by using the interaction algorithm.The interactions are linked with the human and object to predict the actions.The experiments have been performed on two benchmark HOI datasets demonstrating the proposed approach.

Ephemeral Art and Interactive Art： The Quest for Preservation and Dissemination

In this text, we seek to present and analyze artistic works that were part of the exhibition Visual Music： interactions between music and image. This exhibition was held for a period of one month at Brazilian Bank Cultural Center and integrated III Understanding Visual Music Symposium （2015）. This international event brought together artists from four continents and has been considered one of the most important academic forums dedicated to the study of the relationship between music and image. The works presented in the exhibition dealt with different possibilities of and the need for interaction with the public. Further, interesting discussions were raised, especially related to the possibilities and need for preservation of these works. These debates were unfolded to the plan of artistic dissemination; moreover, have embraced considerations about ephemeral art.

Let the Invisible be Visible and the Unheard be Heard--Public Art and Social Action

Through public arts and my artistic practice to explore how art practice actively contributes to raising civic awareness around issues of social concern in contemporary China.I argue for their contribution to the field of public sculpture in China.The case studies will unpack the research process and highlight the aspects of the work that challenge conventions in public sculpture in China.They will also draw out the impact of the work with audiences,particularly how media engagement has extended the discourse around the sculptures,disseminating that art can be a powerful vehicle to communicate and interact with the public on subjects that are difficult and complex in China.My aim,is at a minimum,to raise social awareness and spark debate in as wide an audience as possible.Ideally I would want to see the artworks impact on social change and contribute meaningfully to creating a respectful society.

The slow-motion practice of Taijiquan,operationally,cultivates the cognitive perception of fascia tension as it is being harnessed to discipline body motion to be in accord with Yin-Yang Balance.The ideal motion that results,bestows liveliness of change and harmonizes body momentum,the hallmarks of maneuverability and force potential for performance.The paper puts forth the proposition that the manifestation of Qi in Taijiquan is primarily the cognitive perception of fascial tension in the functional efficacy of bipedal balance for performance.Though the cultivated cognition may be subjective,the process of Qi nurturing is grounded on the reduction of the errors of imbalances,which carves a practice path to balance with tangible effects.The force that arises from body motion so imbued with Yin-Yang Balance,is of the phenomenon of internal strength or neijin—consummate,of the right force vector in spontaneous response and rooted in balance.Taijiquan practice nurtures Qi for both health wellbeing and neijin as the body's core strength,depending on the practice efforts put in.

Health benefits of traditional Chinese sports and physical activity for older adults: A systematic review of evidence

Background: Traditional Chinese sports and physical activities(PAs) have a long history and are practiced by millions of Chinese. However,relatively few systematic reviews of the scientific evidence for their health benefits, especially for older Chinese adults, have been undertaken.Evidence acquisition: Between January and March 2016, a systematic search was conducted using the CNKI and Pub Med databases to identify studies published between 2000 and 2015. Studies were selected for review if they were designed specifically to evaluate the health benefits of traditional Chinese sports and PAs in adults aged 50 years and older in the Mainland of China. The studies included observational, uncontrolled,and randomized and controlled designs. Papers published without an English title or abstract were excluded.Evidence synthesis: The initial search identified a total of 229 studies. After removing duplicates and studies that did not meet the inclusion/exclusion criteria, 95 studies were selected for review. Special attention was given to studies of the most commonly practiced activities: Tai Ji Quan,Qigong, and Yangko exercises. A positive association between these types of exercise and health benefits was noted for healthy older adults and those with chronic diseases. Evidence on other types of activities was less clear due to the limited number of studies conducted.Conclusion: There is promising evidence that traditional Chinese sports and PAs provide many health benefits for older Chinese adults. While additional scientifically rigorous research is warranted, promoting these traditional and culturally-based sports and PAs as forms of behavioral medicine in primary and secondary prevention of diseases among the aging Chinese population will help fulfill an urgent public health need.

Health through martial arts training: Physical fitness and reaction time in adolescent Taekwondo practitioners

Taekwondo (TKD) is a popular sport among adolescents, but the potential benefits of TKD training to young individuals are not well understood. The objectives of this cross-sectional exploratory study were to compare flexibility, muscular endurance, body composition, and simple reaction time between TKD-trained adolescents and controls. Twenty TKD-trained adolescents aged between 10 and 14 and 20 age-matched healthy controls were asked to perform five physical fitness tests: a sit-and-reach test, leg split test, skinfold measurement, one-minute curl-up test, and ruler-drop reaction time test. The results revealed no significance differences between the two groups in sit-and-reach distance (p = 0.690), leg split angle (p = 0.789), percentage of body fat (p = 0.342), or number of repetitions in the one-minute curl-up test (p = 0.250). However, the TKD group had significantly faster reaction times in the rulerdrop test than the control group (p = 0.005). The results thus suggest that although TKD training may improve reaction times in adolescents, it may have little effect on flexibility, muscular endurance, and body composition (percentage of fat). TKD may be a suitable exercise for improving simple reaction time, but it may not be suitable for improving general physical fitness in adolescents.
