Experimental Investigation of the Stability of the Performance Characteristics of a Photovoltaic Module in the Face of Environmental and Meteorological Factors

The explosive technological improvement of photovoltaic systems as well as the necessity of populations to come to less expensive energy sources, that have led to an implosion at the level of solar panel manufacturers. This causes a large flow of these equipments to developing countries where the need is high, without any quality control. That conducted an experimental investigation on the performance characteristics of a 250 wp monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic module in other to check the verification and quality control. Most of these PV panels which often have missing informations are manufactured and tested in places that are inadequate for our environmental and meteorological conditions. Also, their influences on the stability of internal parameters were evaluated in order to optimize their performance. The results obtained at maximum illumination (1000 w/m<sup>2</sup>) confirmed those produced by the manufacturer. The analysis of these characteristics showed that the illumination and the temperature (meteorological factors) influenced at most the stability of the internal characteristics of the module in the sense that the maximum power increased very rapidly beyond 750 w/m<sup>2</sup> but a degradation of performance was accentuated for a temperature of the solar cells exceeding 50°C. The degradation coefficients were evaluated at -0.0864 V/°C for the voltage and at -1.6248 w/°C for the power. The 10° inclination angle of the solar panel proved to be ideal for optimizing overall efficiency in practical situations. 展开更多

Internal solitary waves(ISWs) contain great energy and have the characteristics of emergency and concealment. To avoid their damage to offshore engineering, a new generation of monitoring and early warning system for ISWs was developed using technologies of double buoys monitoring, intelligent realtime data transmission, and automatic software identification. The system was applied to the second natural gas hydrates(NGHs) production test in the Shenhu Area, South China Sea(SCS) and successfully provided the early warning of ISWs for 173 days(from October 2019 to April 2020). The abrupt changes in the thrust force of the drilling platform under the attack of ISWs were consistent with the early warning information, proving the reliability of this system. A total of 93 ISWs were detected around the drilling platform. Most of them occurred during the spring tides in October–December 2019 and April 2020, while few of them occurred in winter. As suggested by the theoretical model, the full-depth structure of ISWs was a typical current profile of mode-1, and the velocities of wave-induced currents can reach 80 cm/s and30 cm/s, respectively, in the upper ocean and near the seabed. The ISWs may be primarily generated from the interactions between the topography and semidiurnal tides in the Luzon Strait, and then propagate westward to the drilling platform. This study could serve as an important reference for the early warning of ISWs for offshore engineering construction in the future. 展开更多

The Impact of Internal Financing on Productivity-An Empirical Study on Chinese Listed Manufacturing Firms

Using a panel of 1,747 Chinese manufacturing firms over the period of 2001 to 2016, we examine how internalfinancing affects labour productivity. Value-added revenue over total employees and total factor productivity areused as proxy for labour productivity. Different regressions models including OLS, FGLS, and GMM have beenimplemented to conduct the empirical analysis. The results show that internal financing has positive effect on firms'productivity as a whole. What is more, whether the firms have state-owned property or not differentiates theexplanation of cash-flow boosted productivity improvement as well as equity-boosted productivity improvement.This paper further took firms' location and the effect financial crisis into consideration. It discovered that thedegree of regional development, which is measured by nominal GDP, has significant positive impact on labourproductivity, especially for state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The 2008 financial crisis is found to have a positiveinfluence on after-crisis labour productivity. We believe this paper shed light on firms' after-crisis financingmanagement and government policies to improve the financing structure in the manufacturing sector. 展开更多

We have calculated ξand ζ, and found that ξ(z)is alternative oscillation, which intuitively implies RC, and the property of ζ(s)is not good. Therefore Riemann’s direction is correct, but he used the same notation ξ(t)=ξ1(t)to confuse two concepts. So the product expression only can be used in contraction. We find that if ξhas complex roots, then its structure is destroyed, so RC holds. In our proof, using Riemann’s four theorems is sufficient, needn’t cite other results. Hilbert (1900) proposed Riemann hypothesis (RH): The non-trivial roots of ζhave real part 1/2. Of course, RH also holds, but can not be proved directly by ζ(s). 展开更多

As one of the Analysis Centers(AC)of the International GNSS Service(IGS),Wuhan University(WHU)has been contributing to the IGS by providing ultra-rapid as well as rapid orbit and clock solutions for the established GPS and GLONASS since 2012.In the same year,the IGS initiated the Multi-GNSS Experiment(MGEX)to support the analysis of the emerging GNSS systems and prepare the IGS for Multi-GNSS,which includes GPS,GLONASS,the European Galileo system,the Chinese Beidou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),the Japanese Quasi-Zenith Satellite System(QZSS)and the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System(IRNSS/NaVIC).The major products,i.e.,orbits,Earth Orientation Parameters(EOPs),satellite clock as well as attitude have also been provided by WHU since 2012.More recently,WHU has engaged the third reprocessing of IGS for generating the highly accurate station coordinates as inputs for establishment of the International Terrestrial Reference Frame(ITRF)2020 during 2019—2020.This article presents the recent major advancements of the IGS AC at Wuhan University,including precise products,real-time products,bias products,antenna phase center calibration,and the non-linear motion modeling for GNSS Reference Stations. 展开更多

In irrigated agricultural systems,nitrogen(N)and water are the vital resources for sustainability of the crop production in the modern era of climate change.The current study aimed to assess the impact of water and N management on the productivity of irrigated rice cultivars.In the context,a field observation was done at the research farm of Bangladesh Agricultural University,Mymensingh,during dry seasons in consecutive two years(2018–2019 and 2019–2020).The experiments were set up following split-plot design assigning water management in the main plots,nitrogen management in the sub-plots,and the cultivars were approved in the split-split plot with three replications.After two years observation,it was revealed that rice cultivar Binadhan-8 gave the maximum value of leaf area index,number effective tillers hill-1 and grains panicle-1 which lead to the higher grain yield(GY).Substantial relationships were observed among the concentration of N,growth,total dry matter(TDM)and N content,N uptake,N utilization effectiveness,and GY.However,with little exception,the Combined effect of water and N,cultivars and water management were varied significantly for all parameters.Finally,the results of the current study concluded that application of irrigation at 8 days after the disappearance of ponded water and source of 105 kg N ha-1 from PU+Poultry manure are the best management approach for the excellent performance of rice cultivar Binadhan-8. 展开更多

The quality system of any modern pharmaceutical company is the pharmaceutical quality system(PQS),which extends the GMP standards to all stages of the medicinal productslife cycle,from pharmaceutical development to its withdrawal from production.The principal difference between PQS and GxP rules from other quality systems is that the medicinal product,its safety and efficacy is put at the forefront.At the same time,PQS implies a process approach to all components that should be aimed at achieving the main goal—ensuring and guaranteeing the quality of the medicinal product for the end user(patient)—and should be based on the quality risk management system.An integral part of PQS,as well as the GxP rules adopted in the European Union and PIC/S,is a process for self-inspections and/or quality audits,which regularly appraises the effectiveness and applicability of the PQS.This publication is dedicated to the definition of self-inspections(internal audits)as one of the PQS’s processes.The article defines the main standard stages and develops a model of a risk-based approach to the self-inspections’planning in relation to processes of the pharmaceutical quality system. 展开更多

The oxidation microstructure and maximum energy product (BH)max loss of a 8m(Co0.76, Fe0.1, Cu0.1, Zr0.04)7 magnet oxidized at 500 ℃ were systematically investigated. Three different oxidation regions were formed in the oxidized magnet: a continuous externM oxide scale, an internal reaction layer, and a diffusion zone. Both room-temperature and high-temperature (BH)max losses exhibited the same parabolic increase with oxidation time. An oxygen diffusion model was proposed to simulate the dependence of (BH)max loss on oxidation time. It is found that the external oxide scale has little effect on the (BH)max loss, and both the internal reaction layer and diffusion zone result in the (BH)max loss. Moreover, the diffusion zone leads to more (BH)max loss than the internal reaction layer. The values of the oxidation rate constant k for internal reaction layer and oxygen diffusion coefficient D for diffusion zone were obtained, which are about 1.91×10^-10 cm^2/s and 6.54×10^-11 cm^2/s, respectively. 展开更多

Efficient detection of coalbed methane(CBM) co-production interference is the key to timely adjusting the development plan and improving the co-production efficiency. Based on production data of six typical CBM co-production wells in the Zhijin block of western Guizhou Province, China, the production characteristic curves, including production indication curve, curve of daily water production per unit drawdown of producing fluid level with time, and curve of water production per unit differential pressure with time have been analyzed to explore the response characteristics of co-production interference on the production characteristic curves. Based on the unit water inflow data of pumping test in coal measures, the critical value of in-situ water production of the CBM wells is 2 m^(3)/(d·m). The form and the slope of the initial linear section of the production indication curves have clear responses to the interference, which can be used to discriminate internal water source from external water source based on the critical slope value of 200 m^(3)/MPa in the initial linear section of the production indication curve. The time variation curves of water production per unit differential pressure can be divided into two morphological types: up-concave curve and down-concave curve. The former is represented by producing internal water with average daily gas production greater than 800 m^(3)/d, and the latter produces external water with average daily gas production smaller than 400 m^(3)/d. The method and critical indexes for recognition of CBM co-production interference based on the production characteristic curve are constructed. A template for discriminating interference of CBM co-production was constructed combined with the gas production efficiency analysis, which can provide reference for optimizing co-production engineering design and exploring economic and efficient co-production mode. 展开更多

Justifications for the examination of the importance of companies' international product positioning and global branding orientations as a basis of creating competitive advantage were derived from the literature. It is suggested that the companies' product positioning and global branding orientations and sustaining competitive advantage are the important aspects in multinational management and international business areas.
