Clinical Efficacy of Ultrasonic Medicinal Penetration in the Removal of Blood Stasis and Alleviation of Zhuyu Juanbi Formula in the Treatment of Peripheral Neuropathy Induced by Paclitaxel

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and differences of the Zhuyu Juanbi formula delivered through ultrasound at Zusanli on patients with chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) due to paclitaxel injection. Methods: A total of 72 breast cancer patients with CIPN were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group (36 cases) was treated with oral methylcobalamin plus ultrasonic medicine permeating Zhuyu Juanbi formulae, while the control group (36 cases) was treated with oral methylcobalamin alone. Following two 2 cycles of continuous treatment, the efficacy of peripheral neurotoxicity, TCM syndrome score, FACT/GOG-Ntx score, total neuropathy score, and safety indicators of gynecological cancer patients were observed in the two groups. Result: In the treatment of CIPN, the addition of ultrasonic medicine permeating Zhuyu Juanbi formulae was more effective than oral methylcobalamin alone in reducing peripheral neurotoxicity and improving the quality of life of patients. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05), and ultrasound drug penetration Zhuyu Juanbi formulae significantly reduced the FACT/ GOG-Ntx score and TNS score in the treatment group. In terms of drug safety, it rarely caused adverse reactions such as grade 3 and 4 leukopenia, and the safety profile was therefore good. Conclusion: The combination of ultrasonic medicine permeating Zhuyu Juanbi formulae and methylcobalamin has been demonstrated to be an effective treatment for peripheral neurotoxicity in patients with PIPN. It has been shown to significantly improve the clinical symptoms of PIPN patients, improve the quality of life of patients, and have a good safety profile.

Analysis of Adverse Reactions in the Treatment of COVID-19 with Three Chinese Patent Medicines and Three Herbal Formulas

Objective To explore the rules and characteristics of the adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of three Chinese patent medicines and three herbal formulas for the treatment of COVID-19,and to provide a reference for clinical safe medication.Methods The cases and ADR reports of the three Chinese patent medicines and three herbal formulas in PubMed,Web of Science,Springer Link,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP database were retrieved from December 2019 to May 2021.Then we extracted and analyzed the effective information included in the literature.Results and Conclusion According to the pre-developed retrieval plan,a total of 136 documents were obtained,and a total of 6 documents met the inclusion criteria finally.553 patients used three Chinese patent medicines and three herbal formulas,and there were 133 cases of adverse reactions.The adverse reactions of patients taking the three Chinese patent medicines and three herbal formulas can all be explained under the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,and the adverse reactions can be eliminated by adding or subtracting the flavor of the medicine or stopping the medicine.

Analysis on the law of differentiating and treating insomnia by physicians based on cluster analysis of drug syndrome

Objective:To explore the general differentiation and treatment of insomnia by Professor Gao Ying through drug clustering and group correspondence analysis,and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:Collect retrospective case data from outpatient system,use SPSS20.0 software to perform frequency and cluster analysis on high-frequency symptoms and drug data,and perform corresponding analysis on the clustered drug syndrome groups.Results:A total of 349 consultations in 204 patients were included.Cluster analysis of 35 symptoms and 40 flavors with a frequency of more than 10%resulted in a corresponding relationship between 7 symptom groups,6 drug groups and 5 drug syndrome groups.The medicine symptom group has a high degree of matching;the doctors distinguish and tre at insomnia with calming,clearing heat,nourishing yin,liver,spleen,qi and phlegm as the core treatment,with consistent decoction,two to pill,lily ground Huang Tang,Lily Zhimu Decoction,Wendan Decoction,Sini San,Xiao Chai Hu Tang,Xiaoyao San,etc.are commonly used prescriptions;the physician's experience is to add or subtract Danshen and Zao Ren drink,which has a wide range of applicability to various insomnia syndrome.Conclusion:Based on the cluster analysis of drug symptoms and group correspondence analysis,it can reveal the pathogenesis,treatment and class information hidden in the data of drug symptoms,which can reflect the general law of physicians'syndrome differentiation and treatment of insomnia.This method has a reference for the exploration of TCM clinical experience significance;The results of this study can provide feedback to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment of insomnia.

Based on data mining,the drug law of clinical treatment of chronic urticaria

Background:Based on clinical data mining,we introduce the medication rule and clinical application of Professor Wang Lifen in the treatment of chronic urticaria,as the reference of clinical treatment of chronic urticaria.Methods:we collected 110 traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment of chronic urticaria,and found out tastes,functions and channel tropism of Chinese medicine.After collecting and sorting,we inputted the data into excel 2010 software and established drug electronic database.We calculated the frequency of tastes,functions and channel tropism using the Spss 20.0 and analyzed the potential relationship between the drugs using Weka 3.8.We used Cytoscape 3.6.1 to draw the related network and combine it into a new prescription.Then the clinical data of prescriptions were statistically analyzed.Results:The statistical analysis showed that the high-frequency drugs for the treatment of the disease were Gancao(Glycyrrhizae radix et rhizoma),Huangqin(Radix scutellariae),Desmopeel,Jingjie(Herba schizonepetae),parsnip,etc.,accounting for more than 69.50%of the total frequency.Moreover,the combination and drug pairs with the strongest and most commonly used high-frequency drugs were found.From the point of medicinal properties of these drugs in the treatment of chronic urticaria,the main drugs are cold,followed by warm and smooth,accounting for 70.75%of the total frequency.From the perspective of the efficacy of these drugs in the treatment of chronic urticaria,heat-clearing drugs are the main ones,followed by relieving drugs and Tonic drugs,accounting for 68.25%of the total frequency.From the perspective of medicine taste,sweet taste is the most important,followed by bitter and pungent taste,accounting for 68.00%of the total frequency.From the perspective of drugs channel tropism,the meridian of spleen is the most important,followed by the meridian of lung,liver,heart,stomach,etc.,accounting for 71.62%of the total frequency.Conclusion:According to the data mining results,traditional Chinese medicine treatment of chronic urticaria is mainly based on dispelling wind,clearing heat and removing dampness,cooling blood and detoxifying,supplemented by nourishing blood and nourishing deficiency.This data mining conforms to the law and principle of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of chronic urticaria,which has certain reference and enlightenment significance for clinical treatment of chronic urticaria.

Analysis on the Medication Law of Drug Pair Acorus Tatarinowii-Polygala Tenuifolia Based on the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions

Objective:Using data mining method to dig and sort out the prescriptions with Acorus tatarinowiiPolygala tenuifolia drug pair,and summarize the medication characteristics and compatibility of their prescriptions after preliminary screening.Methods:By searching the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions,a standardized database of prescriptions was established,and the properties,tastes and meridian tropism of prescriptions were classified,and the indications of prescriptions and core combinations of traditional Chinese medicines were analyzed.Results:178 prescriptions were collected,of which 210 were related.Most of the drugs were warm in nature and sweet in taste,and mainly return to the heart and kidney meridians.Under the same confidence and different support,the core drug combination for treating brain diseases was Acorus tatarinowiiPolygala tenuifolia-Ginseng,and the core drug combination for treating asthenia was Acorus tatarinowii-Poria cocos-Rehmannia glutinosa-Polygala tenuifolia.Conclusion:The compatibility characteristics of the prescriptions containing Acorus Tatarinowii and Polygala tenuifolia in the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions are remarkable,which provides reference for scientific guidance of clinical rational drug use and basic research of prescriptions containing Acorus tatarinowii and Polygala tenuifolia.

S4B-2 Bushen-Yizhi Formula Inhibits the NLRP3/NFκB Mediated Neuroinflammation and Improves the Motor Dysfunction in a Mouse Model of Parkinson’s Disease

Objective:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is the second largest neurodegenerative disease following Alzheimer’s disease(AD),which associated with aging.There are many similarities in pathology and pathogenesis,even in the TCM theory understanding,so we can learn from each other in the process of drug discovery.The clinical results showed that Bushen-Yizhi formula(BSYZ)could effectively improve the neurological function score of senile dementia patients and had a better anti-dementia effect.Further pharmacological studies showed that BSYZ had neuroprotective effects,such as anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,anti-apoptosis and neurotrophic effects.In this study,the therapeutic effect of BSYZ on PD was evaluated in vivo and in vivo,and its molecular mechanism was discussed in order to expand the scope of application of BSYZ and to provide strategies for drug discovery of related neurodegenerative diseases.Methods:C57 BL/6 mice were injected intraperitoneally with MPTP to construct a PD mouse model.BSYZ(1.46,2.92,5.84 mg·kg-1)was administered for two weeks,and the positive control group was given a NSAID,piroxicam(12.5 mg·kg-1).After 1 week of pretreatment,MPTP was used to construct a PD mouse model.The mice were subjected to Rotation test on days 1,3 and 5,6th day.and the movement coordination and exercise ability of the drug on PD mice were observed on theThe number of TH-positive cells,Iba1 and CD68-labeled microglial cells in SNpc region were observed by immunofluorescence to observe the proliferation and activation of microglial cells and GFAP-labeled astrocytes.Western blotting was used to detect the nuclear transfer of NLRP3,Caspase-1,ASC,pro-IL-1β,IL-1βand NF-κB in the midbrain.Results:1.BSYZ could significantly improve the expression of MPTP model mice in the experiment of fatigue and Y-maze,increase the number of neurons in SNpc region and the positive expression of TH protein.2.BSYZ significantly inhibited the number of Iba1/CD68-positive microglial cells in MPTP-model mice and decreased the number of GFAP-positive astrocytes.3.BSYZ significantly inhibited the expression of NLRP3-associated protein in BV2 microglial cells induced by LPS+ATP and inhibited the nuclear transfer of NF-κB.Conclusion:BSYZ can effectively relieve the motor dysfunction of PD model mice,improve the damage of dopaminergic neurons,inhibit the proliferation and activation of microglial cells and astrocytes,and have good anti-MPTPinduced neuroinflammation and neuroinflammation mediated by nuclear transfer of NF-κB.The results show that BSYZ has a good prospect of anti-Parkinson’s disease and provides valuable drug discovery strategies for the related neurodegenerative diseases.

Cosmology Should Directly Use the Doppler’s Formula to Calculate the Red Shift of Ia Supernova<br />—The Proofs That Metric Red Shift Is Inapplicable and Dark Energy Does Not Exist

The Doppler formula should be used directly to calculate red shift of Cosmology. The first is gravity, the second is the Doppler’s effect and the third is the Compton scattering. The red shift of cosmology is considered to be caused by the receding motions of celestial bodies, of which essence is the Doppler’s effect. However, the basic formula used to calculate the relationship between red shift and distance for Ia supernova in cosmology is z+1= R(t0)/R(t1)which is based on the R-W metric and related to the scalar factor R(t). This is different from the Doppler formula which is related to speed factor R(t). Because the R-W metric is only a mathematical structure of space, the metric red shift is not an independent law of physics, this inconsistence is not allowed in physics. It is proved strictly in this paper that the formula of metric red shift is only the result of the first order approximation. If higher order approximations are considered, we can obtain a restrict condition R(t). It indicates that if the formula of metric red shift holds, it can only be suitable to describe the spatial uniform expansion, unsuitable for the practical universal process with acceleration. The basic formula used to calculate the relation of red shift and distance of Ia supernova in cosmology is which is related to the scalar factor of the R-W metric. It is completely different from the Doppler formula of red shift which is related to velocity factor . This kind of inconsistency is not allowed in physics. Because of , when became larger and larger with time increase, z became smaller and smaller, means that space expansion leads to red shift becoming smaller. At present time, we have and , means that there is no red shift for the light emitted from distance celestial bodies at present. The results obviously violate the Hubble law! It is proved strictly in mathematics that the formula is untenable unless constant and . The further study reveals that the essential reason of the mistake is that the R-W metric violates the principle of light’s speed invariable. The time delay caused by relativity velocity between light’s source and observer is neglected. Besides, there exists the problem of time misalignment between theoretical calculation and practical observations in the original documents of Ia supernova projects. So the formula used to calculate the relation between red shift and distance of Ia supernova is wrong and the deduced conclusion about dark energy and the accelerating expansion of the universe are incredible. It is proved in this paper that based on the Doppler’s formula and the method of numerical calculation, the relation of red shift and distance of Ia supernova can be explained well. The hypotheses of dark energy and the accelerating expansion of the universe are completely unnecessary in cosmology.

Mathematical modelling of drug permeability of biodegradable membrane for implant use

The objective of this paper is to derive a tentative mathematical formula of drug permeability of biodegradable membrane for implant use on the basis of Buckingham P i Theorem in principles of dimensional analysis.Such a theoretical predictive formula would be very useful for not only designing a sustained release system of drug made of biodegradable material for implant use before it is made but also for saving much time and expenses of the experiment. Three basic units were selected to describe the problem due to the invariableness of temperature under the normal physiological condition.They are mass,length and time.At first,a general mathematical formula was derived from Buckingham P i Theorem,in which the relevant parameters were placed into dimensionless Π groups.Secondly,as a special case interested to us,we gave out a predictive formula of permeability of various drugs with different molecular weights and saturated concentrations through Polylactic Acid Membrane with specified characteristics for implant use.For this end,we computed six kinds of drugs.The linear regression analysis of the relationship among these Π groups with drug permeability yielded coefficients for the corresponding Π groups.The obtained results in our paper mainly fitted in with ones obtained by the experiments under in vitro condition.Finally,a computer program for predicting drug permeability was given out in this article.

Clinical evidence and potential mechanisms of Chinese medicines for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is one of the main causes of visual impairment and blindness on a global scale. At present, thelimitations of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor agents, steroids, laser photocoagulation, and vitreous surgery haveled to a growing awareness of the role of Chinese medicines in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy. This review firstdescribes the ingredients and characteristics of the formulae including Chinese herbal formulaes, Chinese patent drugsand ancient processed drugs and summarizes the application of Chinese medicines and their mechanisms of action in thetreatment of diabetic retinopathy. Due to the complexity of Chinese medicines, in-depth mechanisms, side effects of herb,and drug interactions need to be elaborated in future research. Chinese medicines have the potencial to protect theresidual eyesight and delay the progression of disease, thereby offering a beneficial, exploitable option in thetreatment/prevention of diabetic retinopathy.

Clinical Observation and Safety Evaluation of Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Formula for Dermatosis

[Objectives]To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Formula by retrospective analysis of clinical use.[Methods]A total of 225 cases were collected,including 117 males and 108 females,115 cases of contact dermatitis and 110 cases of acute eczema.Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Formula was administered to 225 patients with contact dermatitis and acute eczema and the clinical efficacy was evaluated.[Results]After one week of treatment,among 225 patients with contact dermatitis and acute eczema,76 cases were cured(33.78%),133 cases showed marked response(59.11%),16 cases(7.11%)were improved,0 case was ineffective,and the overall response rate was 92.89%.After one week of Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Formula treatment,the symptoms of itching,pain and swelling were significantly improved in all patients,and the rash was partially crusted without new symptom,and there were no complications and adverse reactions.[Conclusions]Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Formula therapy has a remarkable effect in the treatment of contact dermatitis and acute eczema.

FINITE TIME EMERGENCE OF A SHOCK WAVE FOR SCALAR CONSERVATION LAWS VIA LAX-OLEINIK FORMULA

In this paper, we use Lax-Oleinik formula to study the asymptotic behavior for the initial problem of scalar conservation law u_t + F(u)_x = 0. First, we prove a simple but useful property of Lax-Oleinik formula(Lemma 2.7). In fact, denote the Legendre transform of F(u) as L(σ), then we can prove that the quantity F(q)-′qF(q) + L(′F(q)) is a constant independent of q. As a simple application, we first give the solution of Riemann problem without using of Rankine-Hugoniot condition and entropy condition. Then we study the asymptotic behavior of the problem with some special initial data and prove that the solution contains only a single shock for t > T~*. Meanwhile, we can give the equation of the shock and an explicit value of T~*.

Thermal properties of regular black hole with electric charge in Einstein gravity coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics

We propose a regular spherically symmetric spacetime solution with three parameters in Einstein gravity coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics(NED), which describes the NED black hole with electric charge. It is found that the system enclosed by the horizon of NED spacetime satisfies the first law of thermodynamics. In order to obtain the NED spacetime with only electric charge, the case of two parameters taking the same value is considered. In this case, we express the mass of the NED spacetime as a function of the entropy and electric charge of the NED black hole, give the Smarr-like formula and the approximate Smarr formula for the mass of NED spacetime.

Propagation of Optical Pulses and Pulsed Beams in the Frequency Domain

The diffraction integral formulae in the temporal and spatial-temporal frequency domains are derived by using a Fourier transform and tensor analysis method. Based on these formulae, the abcd law in the temporal frequency domain and the tensor ABCD law in the four-dimensional spatial-temporal frequency domain are derived. An application example of the derived formulae is provided.

Fetal bovine serum versus Chinese herbal formula Naoluoxintong serum supplementation for proliferation and differentiation of rat embryonic neural stem cells

BACKGROUND： How to induce endogenous neural stem cells （NSCs） to differentiate into needed neural cell types is a hot spot of current researches. OBJECTIVE： To compare differences between fetal bovine serum and Chinese herbal formula Naoluoxintong serum supplementation for inducing proliferation and differentiation in rat embryonic NSCs. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： An in vitro, serum pharmacology, comparative, observation study was performed from March to September in 2008 at the Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Diseases, College of Life Science in University of Science and Technology of China, the Key Laboratory Breeding Base of Acupuncture Foundation and Technology in Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Anhui Province Key Laboratory of R ＆ D of Chinese Medicine, and at the Level 3 Laboratory of Molecular Biology of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS： The Chinese herbal formula Naoluoxintong was produced by Radix Astragali, Radix Notoginseng, Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Scolopendra at Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Mouse anti-rat nestin, gliat fibrillary acidic protein, and galactocerebroside monoclonal antibodies, as well as rabbit anti-neuron-specific enolase polyclonal antibody were produced by Chemicon, Billerica, MA, USA. METHODS： Wistar rats aged 3 months were intragastrically infused with Naoluoxintong. Wistar rat embryonic NSCs （passage 8） were induced to proliferate and differentiate using 10% fetal bovine serum, 10% Naoluoxintong serum, and 10% rat serum. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Phenotypic changes in cultured cells were detected using phase contrast microscopy, and cell proliferation and differentiation were observed using immunofluorescence staining. RESULTS： Proliferation and differentiation of embryonic NSCs was induced by three different types of blood serum. Although the differentiation time course with Nao/uoxintongserum was later than with the other two methods, the differentiated cells were morphologically similar to mature neurons to a greater extent. CONCLUSION： Nao/uoxintong serum supplementation induced differentiation of NSCs into neuronal-like cells and stimulated neuronal maturation.

Effects of “Caulis Sargentodoxae Formula” on Experimental Endometriosis in Rat

Objective To study the drug effects of ＂Caulis Sargentodoxae Formula＂ which dears away heat and blood clot on experimental endometriosis in rat, and to compare this effect with Danazol＇s effects. Method The model of endometriosis rat was induced by transplanting with endometrium surgically The rats were divided into 6 groups randomly： the non-treatment group, the castrate group, Danazol group（80 mg/kg）, ＂Caulis Sargentodoxae Formula＂ group （110 g/kg）, the medium dose group（77.5 g/kg） and the low dose group（55 g/kg）. After 3 weeks＇ treatment, the volume ofendometrium was detected by cutting the rats＇ belly open, drawing the materials from endometrium for tissue section, and doing the quantity analysis of endometrium by semiautomatic image analysis machine.Results There was no significant difference of the endometrium volumes between the low dose group and the non-treatment group（P〉O.05）, other groups＇ endometrium volumes were significantly lower than those of the non-treatment group（P〈0. 05）. And apart from the low dose group, all other groups＇ heights of the endometrium epithelia were significantly lower than that of the non-treatment group（p〈0.01）. Conclusion ＂Caulis Sargentodoxae Formula＂ can refrain the growth of the endometrium, and the effects are better than that of Danazol＇s.
