On the Formal and Spiritual Beauty of Scenic Windows in Classical Suzhou Gardens

Taking the scenic windows in classical Suzhou gardens for example,such as the Master-of-Nets Garden (Wangshi Yuan),Pavilion of Surging Waves (Canglang Ting) and Lingering Garden (Liu Yuan),this study discussed the definition,functions and classification of scenic window,further elaborated its formal and spiritual beauty from the perspectives of 'shape','pattern' and 'in-position and in-motion view',and analyzed the aesthetic beauty of scenic windows in classical gardens.

Study on Continuity of Temple of Local Land God in Rural Construction Based on the Perspective of Place Spirit

Temple of local land god is a kind of traditional sacrificial architecture in China's village,and is cultural landscape generated under special farming system of China,which reflects the spiritual world of the working people and bears the history of the village. Its protection and continuity must take inheriting the cultural spirit as the most important prerequisite,and "place spirit" established by Norberg Schultz provides important theoretic basis for it. In this paper,based on "place spirit","place spirit" of temple of local land god is interpreted,and important role of "place spirit" in its protection and continuity and the ways to create "place spirit" of temple of local land god are explored.

Diversity of New Three-Wave Solutions and New Periodic Waves for the (3 + 1)-Dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Boussinesq-Like Equation

Based on the generalized bilinear method, diversity of exact solutions of the (3 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Boussinesq-like equation is successfully derived by using symbolic computation with Maple. These new solutions, named three-wave solutions and periodic wave have greatly enriched the existing literature. Via the three-dimensional images, density images and contour plots, the physical characteristics of these waves are well described. The new three-wave solutions and periodic solitary wave solutions obtained in this paper, will have a wide range of applications in the fields of physics and mechanics.

THE PROPERTIES OF A KIND OF RANDOM SYMPLECTIC MATRICES

Several important properties of a kind of random symplectic matrix used by A. Bunse-Gerstner and V. Mehrmann are studied and the following results are obtained: 1) It can be transformed to Jordan canonical form by orthogonal similar transformation; 2) Its condition number is a constant; 3) The condition number of it is about 2.618.

Neutral Pion Electromagnetic Form Factor as a Bound System of 3 + 1 Dimensional QCD

We investigate a neutral pion electromagnetic form factor in momentum space and obtain Gaussian-like function for it. The characteristic form of our neutral pion electromagnetic form factor is consistent with the results published by Jefferson Lab Hall A Collaboration. .

Some new solutions derived from the nonlinear (2+1)-dimensional Toda equation-an efficient method of creating solutions

This paper presents a new and efficient approach for constructing exact solutions to nonlinear differential-difference equations （NLDDEs） and lattice equation. By using this method via symbolic computation system MAPLE, we obtained abundant soliton-like and/or period-form solutions to the （2＋1）-dimensional Toda equation. It seems that solitary wave solutions are merely special cases in one family. Furthermore, the method can also be applied to other nonlinear differential-difference equations.

Influence of “Conception Forming” in Traditional Chinese Landscape Painting on Landscape Art

"Conception forming" in traditional Chinese landscape painting is created by artists to describe mental state, but not images, so it is also called "virtual environment". In the construction of Chinese gardens, participation of literati and artists successfully transformed the "virtual environment" of traditional Chinese landscape painting into "real environment". This paper explored the inf luence of "form and spirit" in "conception forming" of traditional Chinese landscape painting on landscape art from 4 perspectives, so as to figure out the relationship between "form and spirit" and "virtuality and reality", and that the most artistic part of the relationship between "form and spirit" is the natural transformation between "virtuality and reality".

Traditional Chinese medicine has many core contents,one of which is the unity of form and spirit.To inherit and develop traditional Chinese medicine,we need to reexamine traditional Chinese medicine with philosophy and medicine.Taking Huangdi Neijing as an example,we restudy the unity of form and spirit in traditional Chinese medicine from two aspects of medicine and philosophy.

Prediction of the effect on antihyperglycaemic action of sitagliptin by plasma active form glucagon-like peptide-1

AIM: To investigate whether active glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) is a prediction Factor of Effect of sitagliptin on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(GLP-1 FEST:UMIN000010645). METHODS: Seventy-six patients with type 2 diabetes, who had insufficient glycemic control [Hemoglobin A1c(Hb A1c) ≥ 7%] in spite of treatment with metformin and/or sulfonylurea, were included in the investigation. Patients were divided into three groups by tertiles of fasting plasma active GLP-1 level, before the administration of 50 mg sitagliptin. RESULTS: At baseline, body mass index, serum UA, insulin and HOMA-IR were higher in the high active GLP-1 group than in the other two groups. The high active GLP-1 group did not show any decline of Hb A1c(7.6% ± 1.4% to 7.5% ± 1.5%), whereas the middle and low groups indicated significant decline of Hb A1c(7.4 ± 0.7 to 6.8 ± 0.6 and 7.4 ± 1.2 to 6.9 ± 1.3, respectively) during six months. Only the low and middle groups showed a significant increment of active GLP-1, C-peptide level, a decreased log and proinsulin/insulin ratio after administration. In logistic analysis, the low or middle group is a significantexplanatory variable for an Hb A1 c decrease of ≥ 0.5%, and its odds ratio is 4.5(1.40-17.6)(P = 0.01) against the high active GLP-1 group. This remains independent when adjusted for Hb A1 c level before administration, patients' medical history, medications, insulin secretion and insulin resistance.CONCLUSION: Plasma fasting active GLP-1 is an independent predictive marker for the efficacy of dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor sitagliptin.

China Men, the famous literary work of Maxine Hong Kingston, has received sustained applause since its first publishment. In this book, by picturing the drifting situation of life that China Men have experienced in America, the author shows us the plight in which China Men were enslaved and forced to keep silent in America. This paper tries to analyze the book China Men from the perspective of structuralism narratology in three aspects, including hybridity of different literary forms, cake-like structure and spatial framework. That is,it focuses on how narrative strategies expose the representative events and main subjects at that period of time, which will be helpful for readers to understand the identity issue of Chinese Americans as well.

盘鼓舞是我国汉代舞蹈中的一种类型,此舞不仅以高超的舞技流传千古,更以意蕴深长的表演境界震撼人心。汉代盘鼓舞精湛的舞蹈技艺背后,体现着我国传统道教所倡导的身体观。本文通过对汉代盘鼓舞动作技术以及表演的分析,窥探其中体现的身体技艺观。提出要练就此舞,舞人需要修炼“气炁技术”“反胴动律”的身体技术,从而达到“形神相守”的表演。

本文总结黄世敬教授基于“形神一体观”论治广泛性焦虑症的诊疗经验。从“形神失和”角度总结广泛性焦虑症的病因病机,认为广泛性焦虑症患者具有一定发病基础,其情绪特点为过度思恐,思恐过度使脾、肾之脏神受扰,最终表现为精神性焦虑及一系列躯体化症状。广泛性焦虑症的药物治疗中调神与补形并重,并结合情志疗法,在诊疗过程中对患者进行宣教,强调情志调护的重要性。根据“形神同调”治则总结其常用药为丹琥宁神方,并举验案1则,以期为广泛性焦虑症的中医治疗提供新思路。

基于“形神一体观”理论探讨心律失常合并焦虑抑郁辨治

心律失常是临床常见的心血管疾病,其发病率高,因生活模式改变及其不良预后导致患者合并焦虑抑郁问题愈加明显,西医治疗主要是抗心律失常与抗焦虑抑郁类药物的联合应用,但部分患者对精神类药品的依从性较差。中医学对于“心”的生理认识包括“心主血脉”和“心主神明”,注重“形与神俱”的整体观念,“心主血脉”即是有形,“心主神明”则是有神,与现代医学研究的“双心”理念不谋而合。该文基于“形神一体观”理论,从双心医学角度出发,认为心律失常合并焦虑抑郁当属形神共病,其中“形”坏是其发病的基础,“神”伤是其发病的关键,二者相辅相成,互为因果,可谓是一荣俱荣,一损俱损。治疗上当注重形神兼治,采用健脾益气、化痰祛瘀、清肝宁心、理气解郁、重镇潜阳等多种治法,改善患者的躯体症状与精神障碍,以达到机体气血阴阳的平衡。以期为心律失常合并焦虑抑郁的临床诊疗提供新思路与新方法。
