Research on the Status Quo and High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education in China

Faced with unprecedented changes in the world,China has chosen to continue expanding its opening-up and actively cooperate with other countries.Internationalization of education is one of the important directions for the future development of universities.Since the reform and opening-up,a series of Sino-foreign cooperative education policies have been successively released,forming a relatively systematic and complete policy system.Under the promotion of policies,Chinese universities actively engage in Sino-foreign cooperative education,with increasingly frequent educational exchanges and a clear trend towards internationalization.The scale of Sino-foreign cooperative education is also constantly expanding.It is worthy to explore how to draw on advanced teaching experience from overseas,continue to promote Sino-foreign cooperative education,and improve the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education.

The Construction of English Teaching Mode in Senior High School Based on OBE Theory

OBE theory focuses on students’learning outcomes and application ability,which is consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum standard.The paper attempts to apply OBE theory to innovate the construction of English classroom teaching mode in senior high schools from aspects of teaching aims,teaching activities,teaching assessments and application activities.Results show that the application of OBE in high schools is beneficial to the development of English teaching and students'learning.

Mode of travel and the decision to allow children to walk or bike to schools—The Abu Dhabi experience

The study investigates school travel to and from schools as perceived by parents in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Far fewer children are cycling or walking to school, and more and more are being driven to school by car. Traffic conditions, environmental factors, distance to school, road’s infrastructures, walking or biking with groups, schools efforts to educate children about active travel, and preferences of parents to accompany children to school were significantly perceived as important. The absence of active travel culture in the community was seen as a significant factor. Parent’s gender, child’s gender, child’s grade level, number of cars owned by the family, nationality and number of children were significantly associated with parents’ decisions to allow active travel to school. Results show that Abu Dhabi must establish aggressive strategic plans to promote active-commuting to school as the main mode of transportation. Current conditions in Abu Dhabi City are not conducive to active travel to school.

The Establishment of the Innovative and Practical Teaching Mode for Architecture Majors with the Help of “Schools-Enterprises-Governments-Research Institutions”

This paper focuses on the establishment of the teaching mode of innovative and practical architectural professionals, which is assisted by colleges and universities, enterprises, governments and research institutions. This paper believes that through the reform of the teaching mode, we can solve the problems such as the ivory-towered teaching of architecture in colleges and universities, the superficial teaching contents, inadequate teaching staff, students' poor innovation practice ability and tight professional funds. It is expected that this paper can provide assistance for architecture majors in the guidance of innovative ideas, the building of practical ability, and the establishment of knowledge system.

The Effective Teaching Design of Primary School English Classroom Based on BOPPPS Teaching Mode

Teachers are crucial to the success of primary school English teaching.As to BOPPPS teaching mode,it is well-known for its effectiveness of teaching and values the enhancement of teachers’teaching ability.In order to integrate BOPPPS mode into primary school English teaching,there is a need to elaborate bridge-in,and clarify the learning objective.Then based on the pre-assessment,teachers are supposed to know students’prior knowledge,interest,and ability.For the participatory learning,which emphasizes both teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction,the activities should be diversified and interesting.In addition,during the stages of post-assessment and summary,teachers should pay close attention to learning outcome,offer feedback timely,and guide students to make reflection.

Mode Innovation of School-Enterprise Cooperation on Food Safety Testing Laboratory Reform

In view of the difficulties about school-enterprise cooperation on food safety testing laboratory reform,the current training program,teaching methods and teaching forms are not suitable for the new platform.This paper provides new ideas and modes to solve these problems,such as integrating the resource elements between school and enterprise,establishing new platforms with the help of external force and innovating the cooperation modes to improve the laboratory,which can fully serve teaching,scientific research and enterprise production.

Educational Reform in Management Courses of Agricultural & Forestry Higher Vocational Schools from the Perspective of Microblog

At present there are many socialized microblog platforms.With powerful mobility,real-time information,fragment of information dissemination,and innovation of interaction,the microblog has become a socialized interaction mode in recent years.Since microblog is very popular with students of agricultural and forestry higher vocational schools,with the rising and development of network education,the microblog as a new information platform will be used by more and more teachers in education.From the perspective of microblog,this paper studied educational reform in management courses of agricultural and forestry higher vocational schools,in the hope of providing certain reference and help for current education practice of agricultural and forestry management courses.

Notes of Numerical Simulation of Summer Rainfall in China with a Regional Climate Model REMO

Regional climate models are major tools for regional climate simulation and their output are mostly used for climate impact studies. Notes are reported from a series of numerical simulations of summer rainfall in China with a regional climate model. Domain sizes and running modes are major foci. The results reveal that the model in forecast mode driven by ＂perfect＂ boundaries could reasonably represent the inter-annual differences： heavy rainfall along the Yangtze River in 1998 and dry conditions in 1997. Model simulation in climate mode differs to a greater extent from observation than that in forecast mode. This may be due to the fact that in climate mode it departs further from the driving fields and relies more on internal model dynamical processes. A smaller domain in climate mode outperforms a larger one. Further development of model parameterizations including dynamic vegetation are encouraged in future studies.

Analysis on the Effectiveness of the Sino-Canada Joint Program of Mechanical Engineering of NJPI

In traditional concept,international cooperation in running schools usually stay at the level of inviting foreign teachers to give lectures in Chinese universities and sending teachers for overseas training.It only could bring breakthrough progress in the effectiveness of teaching,when exchanges and cooperation in-depth to the connotation level of the mutual fusion of teaching ideas,teaching means and teaching aims.Based on the experience of international cooperation in running schools,combined with in-depth interviews on professional teachers,the author summed up proposed changes in the aspects of philosophy of education,teachers,teaching methods and the student literacy.Also,the author summarized the radiation effect achieved from Sinoforeign cooperation in running schools.

基于博弈DEA的中外合作办学本科人才培养效率评价

中外合作办学本科人才培养质量评价是保障我国高校中外合作办学高质量发展的重要工作。文章提出一种产出导向型博弈DEA方法,对我国25家代表性中外合作办学机构2018-2021年的本科人才培养效率开展评价,并将合肥工业大学国际经济与贸易(中外合作办学)项目的本科人才培养效率与25家代表性中外合作办学机构进行比较。研究发现:(1)我国中外合作办学机构人才培养效率整体表现良莠不齐;(2)现阶段我国高校中外合作办学的本科人才培养效率还存在较大的改进潜力;(3)在样本观察期内,具有独立法人资格的中外合作办学机构人才培养效率整体呈上升趋势,而不具有独立法人资格的机构表现基本保持平稳;(4)建立时间较早的中外合作办学机构总体人才培养效率相对更高,并且效率值分布更加集中;(5)“985”院校的中外合作办学机构本科人才培养效率均值最高,而“211”院校的中外合作办学机构本科人才培养效率分布最为集中;(6)与众多中外合作办学机构相比,合肥工业大学国际经济与贸易(中外合作办学)项目的本科人才培养效率表现位于第一梯队。

An Empirical Study on Classroom Learning Anxiety of Secondary Vocational English Learners in Content-based Instruction

This research aims to study the relationship between content-based instruction and secondary vocational English learners.Two classes in one secondary vocational school were chosen as participants.The result shows that CBI teaching has a negative correlation with English learning anxiety and has an impact on alleviating students' anxiety.

普通高中依托高校办学:实践经验、现实挑战与政策导向——以上海市A区为例

随着高等教育和高中教育的普及化发展,国家提出普通高中多样化有特色发展的目标,依托高校办学成为普通高中多样化有特色发展的重要途径。上海市A区普通高中在依托高校办学方面积累了丰富的经验,主要通过课程、师资、硬件、文化、项目等方面实现依托高校办学。与此同时,A区普通高中在依托高校办学过程中面临的现实挑战有:高中与高校之间匹配度不佳、高中依托高校办学的覆盖面不全、学生利用资源的积极性不高、办学机制不健全等。基于此,本研究提出为目标定位相匹配的高中与高校牵线搭桥、加强选考制度变换下的生涯规划教育、构建开放性的区域课程资源共享平台、为高中与高校开展深度合作保驾护航等政策建议。

Rabbit in the Garden

Academic circles at home and abroad pay little attention to Rabbit’s work in Mrs. Smith’s garden in Rabbit, Run.Why does Rabbit “has it pretty good” when working in the garden? From the background of economicdemocratization in Western countries, it can be seen that labor relations in the garden have changed, and Rabbit hastaken control of the garden. This article starts with a Chinese translation of Rabbit, Run and explores the changes inRabbit’s working status in the garden due to economic democratization. It also reveals that in the case of gainingcontrol of the garden, Rabbit’s work has been changed in some aspects.

Hydrodynamic Behavior of Curtainwall-Pile Breakwaters

A numerical model is developed that can predict the interaction of regular waves normally incident upon a curtainwall-pile breakwater; the upper part of which is a vertical wall and the lower part consists of an array of vertical piles. The numerical model is based on an eigenfunction expansion method, and utilizes a boundary condition nearby the vertical piles that accounts for wave energy dissipation. Numerical solution comprises a finite number of terms, which is a superposition of propagating waves and a series of evanescent waves. The modeling is validated by comparison with previous experimental studies and overall agreement between measurement and calculation is fairly good. The numerical results are related to reflection, transmission, and dissipation coefficient; wave nm-up, wave force, and wave overturning moment are also presented. Effect of porosity, relative draft, and relative water depth are discussed; the choice of suitable range of them is described. The relative draft is more effective for shallow water waves. Model shows decrease in relative draft and leads to reduction of relative wave force, overturning moment, and runup. It is shown that curtainwall- pile breakwaters can operate both effectively and efficiently in the range of relative draft between 0.15 and 0.75. The range 0.5 to 0.2 is also recommended for porosity.
