Psychological Problems and Countermeasures of Boarding Students in Rural Primary Schools——Based on the Investigation of County L in Shaanxi Province

With the implementation of the school relocation policy in the 1990s,the number of rural primary schools has dropped sharply. In order to better solve the problem of schooling for rural students,the development of boarding schools has become a realistic choice. However,for pupils lacking self-reliance,premature boarding can have an adverse effect on their mental development. In the investigation of county L in southern Shaanxi,the physical and mental development of boarding students is influenced by such factors such as the family's economic status,the supervision of primary boarding schools,and the isolation of social contacts under the boarding system. Therefore,trying to make recommendations to care for boarding students from the duties and responsibilities of the family,the school and the government is of positive significance in advancing education equity.

The Problems and Countermeasures of“Art Education”in Secondary School

The progress of society has prompted the rapid development of education.Being one of it,the art education has received extensive attention.To date,the current art education has made certain progress in primary and secondary schools.However,based on the analysis of the current situation of“art education”in secondary schools,there are still many problems.Through the investigation on the current situation of art education in the middle school,this paper reveals the existing problems in art education and provides the corresponding countermeasures.

Review and Reflection on the Research of Mathematics Problems in Junior High School

The problem of mathematics is an important teaching method of students’core qualities cultivation.Statistics and analysis of The master’s thesis related to“junior high school mathematics”and“problem posing”in the past ten years were counted and analyzed from chronological distribution,institutional distribution and research topics and other dimensions.The research results:ignorance of domestic research on the textbook content;formalization of problem raising under the the guidance of theory;the opposite direction of demonstration and qualitative research;fuzzy and superficial results and countermeasures of research.Research reflection:broaden thoughts of the field,attach importance to the study of textbook content,and enhance the expression of the teacher’s question raising;deepen the guiding ideas,reiterate the theory to guide the practice,reflect the complement of the theoretical practice;be rigorous about thoughts,attach importance to empirical and quantitive combination,improve scientific and appropriate research methods;develop the logical thinking,focus on the study of results and countermeasures,and manifest the value of research results.

The Status Quo of International Schools and Its Problems

International schools are not only the products of globalization that promote educational revolution,but also the process of promoting globalization that can cultivate international awareness,international thinking and international global citizenship of vision.The core of education internationalization is to cultivate talents with global vision and super-national understanding of inter national cooperation.However,in the rapid development of international schools,some problems inevitably arise.We analyze from three aspects:student problems;management problems and curriculum problems.

Research on the Therapeutic Effect of Sandplay Intervention on Emotional and Behavioral Problems of a Primary School Student

With the aim to explore the therapeutic effect of sandplay therapy on children with emotional and behavioral problems,in this study,a primary school student with emotional and behavioral problems was selected as the research object undergoing 12 times sandplay intervention,combining the methods of observation,interview,and questionnaire.It turns out that:(1)The traumatic theme indicates an overall downward trend in the process of intervention,while the cure theme indicates an overall upward trend.(2)The results of“strengths and difficulties questionnaire”were found to be consistent with the results of descriptive evaluation before and after sandplay intervention.(3)Based on the interview,sandplay,and questionnaire analysis,it is found that sandplay therapy shows a better therapeutic effect on children with emotional and behavioral problems.

A Study on the Problems and Countermeasures of English Vocabulary Teaching in Primary School

This paper analyzes the current situation of English vocabulary teaching in primary schools through a questionnaire sur⁃vey of 180 students in Liushi No.5 Primary School,and points out the existing problems.Then,some effective suggestions are put forward.The research in this paper is of great significance to helping primary school students improve their English vocabulary learning ability.Meanwhile,it can provide a powerful reference for how to enrich the primary school English vocabulary class and how to improve teaching efficiency.

The Reliability of the 300-Yard Shuttle Run in High School Girls Basketball Players

The 300-yard shuttle run is a field test commonly used to assess anaerobic capacity. There is limited documentation regarding the reliability of the shuttle run for various populations. The purpose of this study was to assess the reliability of the 300-yard shuttle run in High School girls basketball players. Thirty nine High School girls basketball players performed two separate sessions of the 300-yard shuttle run. During each session, the participants completed two trials of the 300-yard shuttle run separated by a 5-minute rest period. The trial 1 and 2 scores were 66.2 - 4.9 and 69.1 - 6.0 seconds, respectively. The interclass and intraclass reliability coefficients were r = 0.84 and ICC = 0.83. The standard error of the measure was SEm = 2.2 seconds with 90% confidence limits Of UL： 2.6, LL： 1.9. The typical error expressed as a coefficient of variation percent was CV% = 3.2 with 90% confidence limits Of UL： 3.7, LL： 2.8. Within the parameters of this study, the 300-yard shuttle run is a sufficiently reliable field test for measuring anaerobic capacity.

A Study on the Professional Development Strategies of English Teachers in Rural Primary and Secondary Schools

According to the growth characteristics of unicorn enterprises, the "Guidelines for the Cultivation of High-Growth Enterprises" should be formulated at the provincial level. STUDY ON INTELLIGENT DEVELOPMENT AND BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS OF IRON－DEFICIENT SCHOOL CHILDREN

we studied a sample or 433 school children aged 6～14 years with double-blind, placebocontrol.Children Behavior Checklist (CBCL),Conner's questionnaire in all sample and WISC-CR intelligent test in part of it were performed.The study aimed to explore the behavioral and intelligent effects or iron deficiency on school children. The results showed:in the children with poor intellgent quotien (IQ) tested by WISC-CR serum ferritin level was significantly lower than that in the children with normal to (P<0. 01);with analysis or stepwise multiple regression for behavioral problem of children, serum ferritin (SF),free erythroyte protoporphyrin (FEP) and hemoglobin (HB) were taken into the equation suggesting that iron-dericient biochemical index had significant effect on behavioral problem or school children. With factor analysis of Conner's questionnaire, different factor structure between the iron-deficient and normal group was revealed. Therefore,irondeficient group had higher learning problem than normal group.After treatment using iron dextran the differences in the learning problem between the two groups disappeared.

How discrimination and participation are associated with psychosomatic problems among boys and girls in northern Sweden

Background: Negative impact on health from school disturbance due to asymmetric power relations such as discrimination and offensive treatment are frequent problems among students. This study sought to analyze associations between occurrence of discrimination at schools, participation and psychosomatic problems. Methods: Pupils in grades 6 - 9 in ten schools in a northern Swedish municipality participated in the study. The frequency of discrimination at school was measured by six items: sex;culture or ethnicity;disability;religion beliefs;sexual preferences;and any other form of discrimination. The Social and Civic Objectives Scale (SCOS) was used for an estimation of the level of participation. The pupils’ health was measured by the PsychoSomatic Problem (PSP) scale. Multivariate logistic regression models were used for estimation of increased risk of PSP. The formula Z = d/s(d) was used to test mediation. Results: Two thirds of the boys and three fourths of the girls reported occurrences of discrimination at schools (p = 0.001). Discrimination was a mediating factor between participation and PSP among boys and girls as the mediating formula Z = d/s (d) was > ± 2 SD, -2.59 for boys and -39.27 for girls. Independent of each other, low participation and discrimination were associated with increased risk of PSP. Conclusion: Discrimination was a mediating factor between participation and PSP. The mediating effect was stronger in girls than in boys. There is a need for school health promotion programs focusing on participation in terms of democratic processes, communication and cooperation in the classroom.

Extensive Medical Absenteeism among Secondary School Students: An Observational Study on Their Health Condition from a Biopsychosocial Perspective

An adequate approach to reducing school absenteeism should focus on medical absenteeism as this is the most prevalent form of school absenteeism. The objective of this study is to explore the health condition of pre-vocational secondary students with extensive medical absenteeism from a biopsychosocial perspective. Data were obtained from medical assessments and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaires (SDQs) of students with medical absence above threshold criteria (i.e. reported sick four times in 12 school weeks or more than six consecutive school days) who were referred to a youth health care physician. The results showed that the students had a mean absence rate of 14% in 12 school weeks. Of all students, 43.5% had a diagnosed disease and 81.5% had problems such as physical complaints not yet diagnosed, psychosocial problems, lifestyle problems and sleeping difficulties. Four groups could be distinguished: 13.4% with a diagnosed disease and no problem, 30.1% with a diagnosed disease and a problem, 51.5% with a problem and no diagnosed disease and 5.1% without a diagnosed disease or problem. Significantly higher scores of the Total difficulties-scale on the SDQ were found (mean 10.5;SD 5.8) in the study group, compared to a reference group (mean 9.1;SD 4.9). In conclusion, this study shows that when using the aforementioned criteria for extensive medical absenteeism to intervene with the absence, students with a mean absence rate of 14% in 12 school weeks are identified. If there was a diagnosed disease, it was accompanied by problems about twice as often. More than half of the students’ absence was caused by problems rather than a disease. The great diversity of these problems calls for a personalized approach. A broad perspective, including medical expertise, is needed to distinguish between emerging mental and physical diseases, psychosocial and lifestyle problems.

The Correct Use of English Teachers' in-class Evaluative Speeches

Analysis on the Effectiveness of the Sino-Canada Joint Program of Mechanical Engineering of NJPI

In traditional concept,international cooperation in running schools usually stay at the level of inviting foreign teachers to give lectures in Chinese universities and sending teachers for overseas training.It only could bring breakthrough progress in the effectiveness of teaching,when exchanges and cooperation in-depth to the connotation level of the mutual fusion of teaching ideas,teaching means and teaching aims.Based on the experience of international cooperation in running schools,combined with in-depth interviews on professional teachers,the author summed up proposed changes in the aspects of philosophy of education,teachers,teaching methods and the student literacy.Also,the author summarized the radiation effect achieved from Sinoforeign cooperation in running schools.
