In this paper a time dependent inventory model is developed on the basis of constant production rate and market demands which are exponentially decreasing. It advances in quest of total average optimum cost considering those products which have finite shelf-life. The model also considers the small amount of decay. Without having any sort of backlogs, production starts. Reaching at the desired level of inventories, it stops production. After that due to demands along with the deterioration of the items it initiates its depletion and after certain periods the inventory gets zero. The decay of the products is level dependent. The objective of this paper is to find out the optimum inventory cost and optimum time cycle. An extensive series of experiments was carried out in order to identify suitable catalysts to boost the reaction rate of wet air oxidation of real textile wastewaters at relatively mild temperature and pressure. Experimental results indicated that all catalysts tested in this investigation had shown an impressive increase in the initial COD and TOC removal rate as well as the COD and TOC removal levels in two hours reaction. Among all the catalysts tested, copper salts were more effective than the rest. Anions of the salt solutions also played a role in the catalytic process with nitrate ions having better effect than sulfate ions. Hence copper nitrates were more effective than copper sulfates. It was also found that a mixture of salts with different metals performed better than either of the component single salt alone. 展开更多

The complete splitting process of steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC)at intermediate strain rate was studied by experiment.The basic information of a self-developed SFRC dynamic test system matching with Instron 1342 materials testing machine was given,and the experiment principle and the loading mode of cubic split specimen were introduced.During the experiment,30 cubes of 150 mm×150 mm×150 mm and 36 cubes of 100 mm×100 mm×100 mm,designed and prepared according to C20 class SFRC with different volume fractions of steel fiber(0,1%,2%,3%,4%)were tested and analyzed.At the same time,the size effect of SFRC at intermediate strain rate was investigated.The experimental study indicates that SFRC size effect is not influenced by the loading speed or strain rate.When the steel fiber content increases from 0 to 4%,the splitting strength of SFRC increases from 100%to 261%,i.e.increasing by 161%compared with that of the common concrete.The loading rate increases from 1.33 kN/s to 80.00 kN/s,and the splitting tensile strength increases by 43.55%. 展开更多

Formation and growth of the intermediate phases in the Ni-Al diffusion couples prepared by pouring technique were investigated. Electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the product phases in the joints. The results show that two intermediate phases form in the sequence of NiAl3 and Ni2Al3 during solidification. After annealed, Ni2Al3 and NiAl3 still exist in the joints of the couples. The reasons for the formation of Ni2Al3 and NiAl3, as well as the absence of NiAl, Ni5Al3 and Ni3Al were discussed, respectively. The growth kinetics of both product phase layers indicates that their growth obeys the parabolic rate law. The activation energies and frequency factors for NiAl3 and Ni2Al3 phases were also calculated according to the Arrhenius equation. 展开更多

In order to determine the relationship among energy consumption of rock and its fragmentation, dynamic strength and strain rate, granite, sandstone and limestone specimens were chosen and tested on large-diameter split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) equipment with half-sine waveform loading at the strain rates ranging from 40 to 150 s- 1. With recorded signals, the energy consumption, strain rate and dynamic strength were analyzed. And the fragmentation behaviors of specimens were investigated. The experimental results show that the energy consumption density of rock increases linearly with the total incident energy. The energy consumption density is of an exponent relationship with the average size of rock fragments. The higher the energy consumption density, the more serious the fragmentation, and the better the gradation of fragments. The energy consumption density takes a good logarithm relationship with the dynamic strength of rock. The dynamic strength of rock increases with the increase of strain rate, indicating higher strain rate sensitivity. 展开更多

A Glimpse into a Potential Influencing Factor of China’s Exchange Rate: Social Financing Scale

The indicator of social financing scale(SFS)has become a new intermediate target for China’s socioeconomic regulation since 2011,which has a better tracking performance on important economic indicators such as CPI and is also the new intermediate target of monetary policy used by China’s central bank to replace M2 at present.So,is there an impact of the social financing scale on another important economic indicator,the RMB exchange rate?This paper conducted an OLS regression analysis of the time series data of social financing scale and the nominal effective exchange rate(NEER)of RMB for a total of 61 months from October 2016 to October 2021 and find that SFS has a significant positive impact on the exchange rate of RMB.This result means that the expansion of SFS will lead to the appreciation of RMB.In addition,the paper fills the research gap on the combination of SFS and RMB exchange rate,and suggests that mechanisms such as monetary policy or domestic interest rates may be responsible for this correlation at the theoretical level. 展开更多

Small-scale processing by smallholders dates back to the early 1980s and has witnessed a lot of changes as a result of new actors in the sector, changing technologies and to an extent, government policies. This paper attempts a review of the origins and evolution of small-scale palm oil processing using intermediate technology, highlighting its importance to both the farmer and the national economy. 低出生率背景下研判省域学前教育资源供需关系的变化,对优化学前教育资源配置、实现学前教育优质均衡发展具有指导意义。本研究选择省域学前教育资源配置中低供给高需求类型的中部J省作为研究对象,运用PADIS-INT软件预测分析了J省2023—... 低出生率背景下研判省域学前教育资源供需关系的变化,对优化学前教育资源配置、实现学前教育优质均衡发展具有指导意义。本研究选择省域学前教育资源配置中低供给高需求类型的中部J省作为研究对象,运用PADIS-INT软件预测分析了J省2023—2035年低、中、高三种方案下城乡在园幼儿人数的变化,调查了J省学前教育人力资源与物力资源供给现状,进而预测分析了J省学前教育资源在供给动态变化与静态不变情况下的供需关系。结果发现,随着在园幼儿人数减少,学前教育资源需求将明显减少;现有人力资源供给存在结构性短缺,未来会出现城乡配置失衡;物力资源配备已达到高水平,未来会严重过剩。根据研究结果,建议地方政府根据资源供需关系的动态变化做好学前教育长期规划,控增量、调存量、疏余量;从结构与质量入手优化人力资源配置,稳定乡村教师队伍;谨慎增加办园条件投入,采用多种形式提升物力资源使用效益。 展开更多

Probing the relationship between the adsorption of superoxide species and the kinetics of Li-O_(2) chemistry is critical for designing superior oxygen electrodes for the Li-O_(2) battery,yet the modulation essence,especially at the atomic level,remains little understood.Herein,we reveal that the adsorption behaviors of superoxide species can be effectively regulated via a core-induced interfacial charge interaction,and we find that moderate adsorption strength can enable superior rate capability in a Li-O_(2) battery.More importantly,operando X-ray absorption near-edge structure and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy provide tools to monitor in situ the evolution of the superoxide intermediates and the electronic states of the catalyst's metal sites during the discharge and charge processes,and correlate these with the surface adsorption states.The concept of tuning adsorption behavior through interfacial charge engineering could open up new opportunities to further advance the development of the Li-O_(2) battery and beyond. 展开更多

Prediction of office building electricity demand using artificial neural network by splitting the time horizon for different occupancy rates

Due to the impact of occupants’activities in buildings,the relationship between electricity demand and ambient temperature will show different trends in the long-term and short-term,which show seasonal variation and hourly variation,respectively.This makes it difficult for conventional data fitting methods to accurately predict the long-term and short-term power demand of buildings at the same time.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes two approaches for fitting and predicting the electricity demand of office buildings.The first proposed approach splits the electricity demand data into fixed time periods,containing working hours and non-working hours,to reduce the impact of occupants’activities.After finding the most sensitive weather variable to non-working hour electricity demand,the building baseload and occupant activities can be predicted separately.The second proposed approach uses the artificial neural network(ANN)and fuzzy logic techniques to fit the building baseload,peak load,and occupancy rate with multi-variables of weather variables.In this approach,the power demand data is split into a narrower time range as no-occupancy hours,full-occupancy hours,and fuzzy hours between them,in which the occupancy rate is varying depending on the time and weather variables.The proposed approaches are verified by the real data from the University of Glasgow as a case study.The simulation results show that,compared with the traditional ANN method,both proposed approaches have less root-mean-square-error(RMSE)in predicting electricity demand.In addition,the proposed working and non-working hour based regression approach reduces the average RMSE by 35%,while the ANN with fuzzy hours based approach reduces the average RMSE by 42%,comparing with the traditional power demand prediction method.In addition,the second proposed approach can provide more information for building energy management,including the predicted baseload,peak load,and occupancy rate,without requiring additional building parameters. 展开更多

中间培育是凡纳对虾(Penaeus vannamei)养殖的重要阶段,投喂率是影响此阶段养殖成效的重要参数。本研究开展为期30 d的养殖实验,研究3组投喂率(投喂率分别为体重的5%、7.5%、10%,分别命名为T5、T7.5和T10)对凡纳对虾中间培育养殖水质、... 中间培育是凡纳对虾(Penaeus vannamei)养殖的重要阶段,投喂率是影响此阶段养殖成效的重要参数。本研究开展为期30 d的养殖实验,研究3组投喂率(投喂率分别为体重的5%、7.5%、10%,分别命名为T5、T7.5和T10)对凡纳对虾中间培育养殖水质、微生物群落结构、非特异性免疫指标及生长性能的影响。实验期间,水体pH、盐度、温度及溶解氧均保持在适宜对虾生长的范围内。结果显示,随着实验进行,总氨氮(TAN)、亚硝态氮(NO2--N)和化学需氧量(COD)浓度出现上升趋势,实验结束时,其浓度随投喂率升高呈现显著差异:T10>T7.5>T5。微生物群落结构分析表明,养殖水体的微生物群落丰富度和多样性随投喂率升高呈下降趋势,不同投喂率的优势门类均为变形菌门(Proteobacteria,50.36%~67.53%)和拟杆菌门(Bacteroidetes,12.09%~67.53%);在属水平上,对凡纳对虾有害的弧菌(Vibrio)相对丰度在T10组最高(37.33%)、T5组最低(0.13%);对其有益的假交替单胞菌(Pseudoalteromonas)相对丰度在T10组最低(0.28%)、T7.5组最高(9.78%)。凡纳对虾肝胰腺的超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、酸性磷酸酶(ACP)和碱性磷酸酶(AKP)活性在T10组最低、T7.5组最高(P<0.05)。T7.5和T10组对虾的体长和体重均显著大于T5组(P<0.05),但T7.5和T10组之间无显著差异(P>0.05),投喂率与存活率呈负相关,且3组间存在显著差异(P<0.05)。利用因子分析对非特异性免疫指标和生长指标进行综合评价,结果表明,T7.5组得分最高,为0.92,凡纳对虾中间培育的投喂率在7.5%左右为宜。 展开更多
