Aromatic nitro compounds were reduced to the corresponding anilines by refluxing with potassium selenated borohydride (KBH2Se3) prepared from potassium borohydride and selenium in refluxed formamide.

When the concentration is greater than 8×10^(-4)mol/L,two waves could be observed on the reduction of Yb^(2+),Sm^(2+)and other RE^(3+)ions except for Eu^(3+).By adding 0.6% H_2O(or 1×10^(-4)mol/L NH_4ClO_4) one well-defined wave appears instead of two.The phenomenon is explained that a thin deposit film may be formed at electrode surface owing to the interaction of RE^(3+) with O_2^-,which is the reduction product of trace oxygen in aprotic solvent.In the presence of a proton donor such as H_2O or NH_4^+,oxygen reduces directly to H_2O_2 and eliminates the appearance of two waves.展开更多

In this study,an efficient catalyst Ag@g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposite was successfully synthesized through a simple green reaction,and the characterizations through XRD,FTIR,SEM,BET and XPS were also studied.The activitie...In this study,an efficient catalyst Ag@g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposite was successfully synthesized through a simple green reaction,and the characterizations through XRD,FTIR,SEM,BET and XPS were also studied.The activities of Ag@g-C_(3)N_(4) were investigated toward the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to their corresponding aminophenol compounds in the presence of excess NaBH_(4) as a reducing agent.The Ag@g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites exhibited high catalytic activities,in which a 92.2%4-nitrophenol conversion in 10 min and the apparent rate constant K_(app)=264.27×10^(-3) min-1were obtained.The as-prepared Ag@g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites showed great potential in catalytically inducing the reduction of 4-nitrophenol,which makes them economically and energy conservation attractive from industrial waste water treatment.展开更多

In the paper,from the view point of nonlinear dynamic theory. some features of Xintan landslide, such as the distribution regularities of spatial and temporal fractal dimensions and their corresponding relationships to landslide occurring are researched. The accumulative principles of fractal dimension reduction is exploratively pointed out. The nonlinear dynamic equation of the landslide is built by analyzing the relationship between the correlation dimension and the phase space. Finally, the forecasted results and error analysis are listed. The research results are satisfactory.展开更多
