One specimen belonging to the family Comatellinae was collected from the Zhenbei Seamount(332.5–478.2 m)in the South China Sea in July 2022.Based on the morphological characters,the specimen was identified as Palaeocomatella hiwia McKnight,1977.It is first recorded from China Sea and redescribed in detail.This specimen differs from the original description from New Zealand for never showing syzygy at br4+5 or br5+6 on interior and br1+2 on exterior arms.However,it is much conform to the redescription to specimens from Indonesia,with only differences in position of the second syzygy and distalmost pinnule comb.Specimen is deposited in the Institute of Oceanology,Chinese Academy of Sciences.Phylogenetic analyses based on the mitochondrial c oxidase subunit I(COI)and 16S rRNA genes indicated that P.hiwia was nested within the tribe Phanogeniini and clustered with Aphanocomaster pulcher.Furthermore,P.hiwia showed same morphological features in terms of mouth placement,comb location,and number of comb teeth rows as other genera of Phanogeniini.Therefore,we suggest that the genus Palaeocomatella should be put in the tribe Phanogeniini. 展开更多

In recent years, studies of Stevens have expanded to include the Chinese elements and the relationship between imagination and reality in his poetry. This thesis intends to examine how irony, ambiguity, tension and paradox cooperate in “The Snow Man” to refresh the reader on man-nature relationship, to understand how Wallace Stevens reflects and reconciles the existential angst of “nothingness” popular in the early 20th century by this poem, and develops a positive or even optimistic attitude. 展开更多

Background:Larch(Larix Mill.)forests are widely distributed in the upper parts of mountainous areas in China,playing vital roles in constructing mountain landscapes and maintaining mountain environments.Despite their importance,our knowledges on the large-scale patterns of structure characteristics and the relationships between different structure variables are unclear.In this paper,we investigated 155 plots from 11 natural larch forest types across the country to explore the biogeographic patterns of the structure characteristics and the allometric relationships between different structure variables for Chinese larch forests.Results:The structure characteristics were significantly different among larch forest types.For different larch forest types,the power function fits the relationships between tree height and diameter at breast height(DBH),average DBH and stem density,and taper and stem density well,but with different exponents among larch forest types.The power exponents of the allometric relationships between tree height and DBH for different larch forest types varied from 0.61 to 0.93(mean=0.86)by standard major axis regression(SMA),and from 0.51 to 0.78(mean=0.56)by ordinary least square regression(OLS).The 50%,75%and 95%quantile regression(QR)and OLS indicated that the average DBH and taper of the L.gmelinii forests,L.gmelinii var.principis-rupprechtii forests,and L.sibirica forests were significantly correlated with stem density.Conclusions:The relationship between tree height and DBH showed a power function relationship for all larch forest types in China,but with different exponents.Overall,stem density was negatively correlated with average DBH and taper.The Sect.Larix forests exhibited stand density effect.Our findings provide an important basis for recognizing the biogeographic patterns of structure factors and for the management of larch forests in China. 展开更多

Because of the randomness of wind power and photovoltaic(PV)output of new energy bases,the problem of peak regulation capability and voltage stability of ultra-high voltage direct current(UHVDC)transmission lines,we proposed an optimum allocation method of installed capacity of the solar-thermal power station based on chance constrained programming in this work.Firstly,we established the uncertainty model of wind power and PV based on the chance constrained planning theory.Then we used the K-medoids clusteringmethod to cluster the scenarios considering the actual operation scenarios throughout the year.Secondly,we established the optimal configuration model based on the objective function of the strongest transient voltage stability and the lowest overall cost of operation.Finally,by quantitative analysis of actual wind power and photovoltaic new energy base,this work verified the feasibility of the proposed method.As a result of the simulations,we found that using the optimal configuration method of solar-thermal power stations could ensure an accurate allocation of installed capacity.When the installed capacity of the solar-thermal power station is 1×106 kW,the transient voltage recovery index(TVRI)is 0.359,which has a strong voltage support capacity for the system.Based on the results of this work,the optimal configuration of the installed capacity of the solar-thermal power plant can improve peak shaving performance,transient voltage support capability,and new energy consumption while satisfying the Direct Current(DC)outgoing transmission premise. 展开更多

A new selected mapping(SLM)scheme based on constellation rotation is proposed to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)signals.Its core idea is to generate abundant candidate signals by rotating different sub-signals of the original frequency signal with different angles.This new signal generation method can simplify the calculation process of candidate time signals into the linear addition of some intermediate signals,which are generated by the inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT)operation of the original frequency signal.This feature can effectively reduce the computational complexity of candidate signal generation process.And compared to the traditional SLM scheme,the number of complex multiplication and complex addition of new scheme can separately be decreased by about 99.99% and 91.7% with some specific parameters.Moreover,with the help of the constellation detection mechanism at the receiver,there is no need to carry any side information at the transmitter.The simulation results show that,with the same channel transmission performance,the PAPR reduction performance of new scheme can approach or even exceed the upper bound of the traditional SLM scheme,which uses all the vectors in Hadamard matrix as the phase sequences. 展开更多

Modeling the force-velocity dependence of a muscle-tendon unit has been one of the most interesting objectives in the field of muscle mechanics. The so-called Hill’s equation [1,2] is widely used to describe the force-velocity relationship of muscle fibers. Hill’s equation was based on the laboratory measurements of muscle fibers and its application to the practical measurements in muscle mechanics has been problematic. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop a new explicit calculation method to determine the force-velocity relationship, and test its function in experimental measurements. The model was based on the motion analysis of arm movements. Experiments on forearm rotations and whole arm rotations were performed downwards and upwards at maximum velocity. According to the present theory the movement proceeds as follows: start of motion, movement proceeds at constant maximum rotational moment (Hypothesis 1), movement proceeds at constant maximum power (Hypothesis 2), and stopping of motion. Theoretically derived equation, in which the motion proceeds at constant maximum power, fitted well the experimentally measured results. The constant maximum rotational moment hypothesis did not seem to fit the measured results and therefore a new equation which would better fit the measured results is needed for this hypothesis. 展开更多
