Different turbulence models, including the S-A, SKE, RNG, Realizable, Low-KE and RSM model, were evaluat...The aim of this work is to evaluate how the building distribution influences the cooling effect of water bodies. Different turbulence models, including the S-A, SKE, RNG, Realizable, Low-KE and RSM model, were evaluated, and the CFD results were compared with wind tunnel experiment. The effects of the water body were detected by analyzing the water vapor distribution around it. It is found that the RNG model is the most effective model in terms of accuracy and computational economy. Next, the RNG model was used to simulate four waterfront planning cases to predict the wind, thermal and moisture environment in urban areas around urban water bodies. The results indicate that the building distribution, especially the height of the frontal building, has a larger effect on the water vapor dispersion, and indicate that the column-type distribution has a better performance than the enclosed-type distribution.展开更多

Purpose:Today,the use of e-government services is still at a low level in China.Based on the understanding that citizen trust is an important factor influencing e-government adoption,this research tries to develop a m...Purpose:Today,the use of e-government services is still at a low level in China.Based on the understanding that citizen trust is an important factor influencing e-government adoption,this research tries to develop a model of citizen trust in e-government in an effort to study the impacts of trust-related factors on citizen intentions to adopt e-government services.Design/methodology/approach:The data was collected from an online survey of 182Chinese users who had more than 3 years' online experiences of using government websites.Structural equation modeling analysis was used to validate the proposed model.Findings:Our survey shows that trust in e-government,perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are critical factors that influence citizen intentions to use e-government services.The study findings also indicate that citizen trust in e-government is positively associated with trust in government,institution-based trust and perceived usefulness of e-government services.Research limitations:The survey sampled adults aged from 25 to 35 years old.Such a limited sample group cannot represent all of the population.So a larger sample involving more experienced online users will yield more useful results.Practical implications:The study results will help government agencies,especially the Chinese government agencies,find ways to improve the Chinese citizens' trust in e-government and promote their adoptions of e-government services.Originality/value:Previous researches have investigated separately the impacts of user evaluation of government websites and user trust in e-government on user intentions to engage in e-government.This study makes a theoretical contribution by integrating these two perspectives and building a model of citizen trust in e-government in understanding the impacts of trust-related factors on citizens' adoptions of e-government initiatives.展开更多

Hadoop and MapReduce are the widely used open sour...Cloud Computing as a disruptive technology, provides a dynamic, elastic and promising computing climate to tackle the challenges of big data processing and analytics. Hadoop and MapReduce are the widely used open source frameworks in Cloud Computing for storing and processing big data in the scalable fashion. Spark is the latest parallel computing engine working together with Hadoop that exceeds MapReduce performance via its in-memory computing and high level programming features. In this paper, we present our design and implementation of a productive, domain-specific big data analytics cloud platform on top of Hadoop and Spark. To increase user’s productivity, we created a variety of data processing templates to simplify the programming efforts. We have conducted experiments for its productivity and performance with a few basic but representative data processing algorithms in the petroleum industry. Geophysicists can use the platform to productively design and implement scalable seismic data processing algorithms without handling the details of data management and the complexity of parallelism. The Cloud platform generates a complete data processing application based on user’s kernel program and simple configurations, allocates resources and executes it in parallel on top of Spark and Hadoop.展开更多

In this work, we analyze the efficiency of simple slotted ALOHA scheme, and then propose a novel allocation scheme that controls the random access period and packet transmission probability to optimize channel efficiency. NS-2 simulations have been carried out to evaluate its performance. The construction of the city community athletic service network in Jiangsu provides a good way for the citizens to promote the level and quality of their lives with the help of the sports. Methods: Based on the literal data method, this paper studies the present city community athletic service network and the main factors which affect the construction of athletic service network and related problems by the following methods i.e. questionnaire survey, interview and observable methods and mathematical statistics method etc. Results: 1 .The main factors which affect citizens who join sports include shortage of athletic stations,, narrowly publicizing science knowledge of keeping healthy, the bad athletic circumstances and shortage of professional instructions. 2. Construction of Jiangsu urban community fitness service network mainly include: physical activity guidance; create a personal exercise files; the body after exercise monitoring; exercise prescription; knowledge of health promotion; post-exercise nutrition deployment; rehabilitation medical. 3.Governments play a leading role in Jiangsu city community service network. As post-WWII baby boomer approaching age 80, Anti-Aging Regenerative Cosmetology (AARC) has been developed and patented for beautifying and strengthening the human body using live cells;to enhance the appearance and f...As post-WWII baby boomer approaching age 80, Anti-Aging Regenerative Cosmetology (AARC) has been developed and patented for beautifying and strengthening the human body using live cells;to enhance the appearance and function of various bodily parts to provide health and aestheticism of human being throughout life. It is a combined cosmetic and preventive medicine to intervene with and to correct the undesirable phenotypic expression of aging. The intrinsic properties of myoblasts and foreskin fibroblasts in development and regeneration are harnessed to formulate a genetic cell therapy program which is safe and efficacious as previously been tested in FDA Phase III clinical trials. Myoblasts are selected for strength development and foreskin fibroblasts for tenacity and smooth-to-the-touch. Both cell types are highly mitotic and non-carcinogenic. In additional to providing large quantities of nuclei as regenerative gene medicine, and of mitochondria as energy generators, myoblasts secret tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) for skin whitening and melanoma prevention. Myoblasts, because of their small size, spindle shape, and resilience, grow readily on collagen and laminin within wrinkles of skin surfaces, thus enhancing the color, luster, and texture of the skin “plated” with them. Alternatively, they can be injected subcutaneously as cell filler to reduce wrinkles. Intramuscular injection of myoblasts can augment the size, shape, consistency, tone, and strength of muscle groups, improving the lines, contours, and vitality to sculpt a youthful appearance.
