Application and Development Trends of Spectral Analysis in Draft of Non-Ferrous Metal Standards in China

Spectral analysis was a method of identifying substances, determining their chemical composition and calculating their content based on their spectral characteristics. This paper mainly discussed the application of various spectroscopic techniques, mainly including atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) atomic fluorescence spectroscopy (AFS) direct reading spectroscopy (OES) glow discharge emission spectroscopy (GD-OSE) laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), in the formulation of non-ferrous metal standards in China. The AAS method was the most widely used single-element microanalysis method among the non-ferrous metal standards. The ICP-AES method was good at significant advantages in the simultaneous detection of multiple elements. The XRF method was increasingly used in the determination of primary and secondary trace elements due to its simple sample preparation and high efficiency. The AFS was mostly detected by single-element trace analysis. OES GD-OES and LIBS were playing an increasingly important role in the new demand area for non-ferrous metals. This paper discussed matrix elimination, sample digestion, sample preparation, instrument categories and other aspects of some standards, and summarized the advantages of spectral analysis and traditional chemical analysis methods. The new methods of future spectroscopic technology had been illustrated in the process of developing non-ferrous metal standards. 展开更多

The fruits of Piper cubeba have been used in Ayurvedic system of medicine for pain,tastelessness, painful urination and mouth diseases. Among its various chemical constituents,(-)-hinokinin, a trypanosomicidal dibenzylbutyrolactone lignan, is found in significant quantities.For quality evaluation of P. cubeba fruit and its commercial formulations, there is an urgent need to develop an analytical method based on(-)-hinokinin. For this purpose, an HPLC method was developed using photo diode array detector and Waters HR C18 column with gradient elution consisting of water and acetonitrile. The developed method was validated as per ICH-Q2 B guidelines and found to be accurate, precise and linear over a wide range of concentrations(5–300 mg/m L).(-)-Hinokinin contents were found to be in the range of 0.005–0.109%(m/m) in various P. cubeba samples. The developed method was extended to LC–MS for further identification and characterization of(-)-hinokinin in samples. The developed method is simple,rapid and specific, and can be used as a tool for quality control of P. cubeba fruits and its commercial formulations. 展开更多

Silicon isotope analysis traditionally uses a standard-sample bracketing (SSB) method that relies upon greater instrument stability than can be consistently expected. The following proposed method reduces the level of instrumental stability required for the analysis process and provides a valid solution for high-precision and accurate studies of Si isotopic compositions. Rock samples were dissolved by using alkali fusion and acidification. Silicon isotopes were purified with an ion exchange resin. Interfering peaks for isotopes were separated by using a Nu Plasma 1700 multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MS) system in high-resolution mode (M/AM 〉 8000 RP). Two magnesium isotopes (25Mg and 26Mg) and three silicon isotopes (28Si, 29Si, and 3;Si) were analyzed in the same data collection cycle. Mg isotopes were used as an internal standard to calibrate the mass discrimination effects in MS analysis of Si isotopes in combination with the SSB method in order to reduce the effects of MS interference and instrumental mass dis- crimination on the accuracy of measurements. The conventional SSB method without the Mg internal standard and the proposed SSB method with Mg calibration delivered consistent results within two standard deviations. When Mg was used as an internal standard for calibration, the analysis precision was better than 0.05 %0 amu. 展开更多

The exact traveling wave solutions are established in the form of trigonometric, hyperbolic, exponential and rational functions with some free parameters. Completing the Standard Model with Gravity by General Relativizing Quantum Physics (RQP) (Coupling Spin-2 Gravitons with Spin-0 Particles to Generate Higgs Mass)

After a straightforward general relativistic calculation on a modified flat-spacetime metric (developed from the fluctuating vacuum energy interacting with a graviton field), a pair of n-valued covariant and contravariant energy momentum tensors emerged analogous to quantized raising and lower operators. Detaching these operators from the general relativistic field equations, and then transporting them to act on extreme spacetimes, these operators were able to generate fundamental particle boson masses. In particular, the operators precisely generated Higgs mass. Then by applying a consistency approach to the gravitational field equations—similar to how Maxwell applied to the electromagnetic ones—it allowed for the coupling of spin-to-mass, further restricting the particle mass to be in precise agreement with CODATA experimental values. Since this is a massless field approach integrated discretely with a massive one, it overcomes various renormalizing difficulties;moreover it solves the mass hierarchal problem of the Standard Model of particle physics, and generates its spin and therefore shows quantum physics to be a subset of General Relativity, just as Einstein had first imagined. 展开更多

This paper reports that low-temperature heat capacities of 4-(2-aminoethyl)-phenol (C8H11NO) are measured by a precision automated adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from 78 to 400 K. A polynomial equation of heat capacities as a function of the temperature was fitted by the least square method. Based on the fitted polynomial, the smoothed heat capacities and thermodynamic functions of the compound relative to the standard reference temperature 298.15K were calculated and tabulated at the interval of 5K. The energy equivalent, εcalor, of the oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter has been determined from 0.68g of NIST 39i benzoic acid to be εcalor=(14674.69±17.49)J·K^-1. The constant-volume energy of combustion of the compound at T=298.15 K was measured by a precision oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter to be ΔcU=-(32374.25±12.93)J·g^-1. The standard molar enthalpy of combustion for the compound was calculated to be ΔcHm = -(4445.47 ± 1.77) kJ·mol^-1 according to the definition of enthalpy of combustion and other thermodynamic principles. Finally, the standard molar enthalpy of formation of the compound was derived to be ΔfHm(C8H11NO, s)=-(274.68 ±2.06) kJ·mol^-1, in accordance with Hess law. 展开更多

Instrument calibration is vital to a successful control system because signal inputs to the system controllers come from such instruments. This paper presents a method for actualizing a standard low-cost loop calibrator for the famous 4-20 mA electrical signaling scheme. The loop calibrator generates a linear current signal from 4 to 20 mA over a 250 ? typical process instrument load for calibration. The realization of the loop calibrator relies on a voltage-to-current converter to build a constant current source. The voltage controlled constant current source is built from discrete components and an op-amp to keep the cost low. Results from simulations and the prototype demonstrate the performance of the 4-20 mA loop calibrator which utilizes a greatly reduced number of components. The cost of these components is approximately 34% of the least expensive calibrator sampled, though other production costs are not included. This conclusion reinforces the fact that loop calibrators can be cheaper. 展开更多

The “Muon g - 2” studies have indicated that the degree of muon precession predicted by the Model is not the same as observed. The researchers offer many posteriori atheoretical hypotheses as possible explanations of their findings, but no fundamental theoretical understanding of the near discovery is among them. This article describes both an explication for the unexpected result and describes its underlying mechanism based on an existing cosmological theory, the Probabilistic Spacetime Theory. 在外部环境高度不确定的背景下,中国企业正面临技术和市场资源双重空间挤压的难题,实现高质量发展是破局的关键。技术标准作为技术公共化的载体,具有很强的资源扩展属性,但其在企业高质量发展过程中发挥怎样的作用以及中间机制还不明晰... 在外部环境高度不确定的背景下,中国企业正面临技术和市场资源双重空间挤压的难题,实现高质量发展是破局的关键。技术标准作为技术公共化的载体,具有很强的资源扩展属性,但其在企业高质量发展过程中发挥怎样的作用以及中间机制还不明晰。本文以2008~2022年362家上市高端装备制造企业为研究样本,实证分析标准参与对企业高质量发展的影响,以及产业链协同在其中的作用机制。结果表明:标准参与对产业链协同和企业高质量发展均具有正向影响,产业链协同在标准参与和高质量发展中存在遮掩效应。进一步研究发现,国有、西部地区以及中美贸易摩擦前企业的标准参与更有助于实现高质量发展。本文的研究发现为企业的高质量发展提供了有益思路,也为政府制定规范性和产业性政策提供了一定的参考。 展开更多
