To make full use of Chinese natural heritage resources and achieve their sustainable development, it is imperative and necessary to construct Chinese National Park System. Based on the theory of sustainable development and the connotation of national park, this paper will discuss the signifi cance of establishing Chinese National Park System and then propose some measures. Chinese National Park System can be constructed from four levels, including policy, management, economic and social levels, and through such ways as reconstructing the national conservation system, making laws and regulations, establishing planning system, setting up independent and specialized regulatory agency, adopting way of franchising, innovating funding investment mechanisms and establishing mechanisms of public participation.

The Morphological Analysis of Folktales of Tu Nationality in Hehuang Region in Northwest China

The Tu nationality （also called ＂Tu people＂ or ＂Tus＂ in the paper）, one of the multiple ethnic minorities in the Hehuang Region （河湟地区） between Gansu （甘肃） and Qinghai （青海） Provinces in the northwest China, has no written language of their own, but has already created the abundant and varied colorful literary genres. Since the 1980s, folktales, as the main literary product popular in the region, have received literary criticisms and reviews from scholars and researchers in China, based on the socialist realism dominant in China in the 20th century that emphasized more on contents, motifs and even ideological significance. So far, no breakthroughs have been made in their studies even if some young scholars have tried from the formalist viewpoints. Therefore, this paper attempts to make a morphological analysis of the Tus＇ folktales by adopting Propp＇s theories, trying to find out the morphological narrative model beneath the language level of the folktales. Through the studies, we can see that collective awareness bonded by kinship is more emphasized in Tus＇ culture, and almost all tales end with good defeating evil. Therefore, the studies of these folktales will help us deep understand Tus＇ psychological conditions and positive cultural life.

Have We Really Embraced “The Start of an Exciting New Journey”?: A Content Analysis of the Olympic Channel’s Original Series

After the 2016 Rio Olympics,the Olympic Channel was launched on 21 August,which is a multi-platform media providing a wide range of content about the Olympics in order to promote the Olympic spirit throughout the world,including games,news,originals series,and live sports events.Compared with videos,the other part of the Channel,those from the original series could represent the coverage tendencies of the platform more relevantly.Based on framing theory,this research focused on issues of sports and analyzed 653 Original Series videos from 21 August 2016 to 31 December 2017,aiming to explore if the coverage framework the Olympic Channel constructed is distinct from what traditional Olympic media adhere to.The study found that some tendencies of the coverage of the Olympic Channel vary from traditional sports media.First,the most-mentioned five sports in the Channel(track and field,skiing,swimming,basketball,and gymnastics)are different from those in traditional sports media(gymnastics,track and field,swimming,diving,and volleyball).Second,the Olympic Channel emphasizes more on promotion of the Olympic humanistic spirits rather than competition,which is valued in traditional sports media,and the Channel implements the promotion greatly by telling characters’stories,with nearly 60%of those characters which are non-Olympic champions,including coaches and sports instructors involved in Olympic movements.Third,the Original Series records athletes in a documentary way,with the shooting perspectives extended from ordinary athletes’performance insides the domain,to their multiple identities’outsides the field,conveying the images of athletes vividly and solidly,narrowing the gap between athletes and fans.In terms of gender,however,male athletes and men’s sports(46.3%)have superiority of media coverage over females and female sports.Coverage focuses placed in these two genders were found distinct as well—male athletes are endowed with more opportunities to show their athletic abilities and games experiences.As for the of athletes’nationalities,it has not been completely free from the stereotypes of traditional Olympic coverage yet—developed countries account for almost about 70%of the coverage while less than 24%is of developing countries.Such unbridgeable gap will lead the perception of sports among countries imbalanced with different economic levels and may eventually have the promotion of Olympic spirits uneven.The Olympic Channel is the International Olympic Committee’s first step to change the media environment,attempting to secure the young generations’understanding towards Olympic spirits.Placing the overall amount of coverage in a global context,how to enable the Olympic Channel as the primary medium for young people globally to embrace the Olympic spirits requires International Olympic Committee (IOC) to focus more on the content and propensity of the Channel. Not only a transformationof Olympic media format, but also the “decentralization” of Olympic cultural is needed, just what the significanceof the Olympic Channel’s establishment lies in.

An Assessment of Nigeria’s Foreign Policy and the African Union Security Architecture:Neo-conservative Perspectives

The beginning of the 21st century witnessed a strategic shift in Nigeria’s foreign policy.After the return of Nigeria to civilian rule in 1999,new multilateral diplomacy had to be embarked upon towards the promotion of democracy,peace,and security in Africa.One notable and distinctive feature of the country’s foreign policy from the inception of the Fourth Republic(1999)has been its promotion of African stability through the democratisation process.Nigeria has consistently used the African Union(AU)to pursue an agenda which can be described as neo-conservative,in restoring democracy,peace,and security,in Africa.Given this,this paper examines the neo-conservative foreign policy objectives and the role of the Nigerian state within the African Union security architecture towards the nurturing and advancement of democracy,peace,and security since the return to the civilian rule in 1999.

Who is the ＂Rightful＂ Inheritor of Ancient Culture？ Ancient Greece, Modern Greece, and Richard Wagner

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reception of Wagner＇s approaches to Greek antiquity by Greek musicologists and composers which took place at the first half of the 20th century. Wagner＇s such readings were parts of wider narrations of archeology and how Greeks perceived their past.This research is largely based on primary sources of that time; its arguments construct two levels of critique： （1） Admiration （the ＇proper＇ aesthetic examples are German models, as exemplified in Wagner＇s work）; and （2） ＂Hellenism＂ as a means to distancing from Wagner （The past of ancient Greece is still believed to be better understood by the Greeks）. The principal conclusions are： （1） Wagner＇s views were admired because Wagner＇s example （ancient culture） should also be an example for Greek composers; and （2） Wagner＇s views were judged on the grounds of： Ideology： the expression of the ＂soul＂; the theory of ＂historic continuity＂; the balance between music, poetry, and dance; Wagner gave superiority to music, modem Greeks （should） give a predominant role to language as a means of expression in an ancient drama, or achieve a balance among the three arts of music, poetry, and dance.

总体国家安全观视域下的国家安全学理论研究十年回眸

中国学界对国家安全学理论的研究可以追溯到20世纪90年代。2014年总体国家安全观提出以后,国家安全学理论研究有了根本遵循,标志着国家安全学理论研究进入新时代。2024年,在总体国家安全观提出十周年之际,中国学界对国家安全学理论的研究,形成了以总体国家安全观研究为先导、加快国家安全学及其学科理论研究和推进中国本土化国家安全学自主理论体系探究的新格局。总体国家安全观内涵不断丰富和深化,国家安全学研究对象和学科定位日益清晰明确,国家安全学理论本土化进一步彰显,国家安全学理论构建日趋完善,国家安全学一级学科建设稳步推进。虽然国家安全学一级学科建设起步较晚,国家安全学理论研究存在一些短板,但当今世界之变、时代之变和历史之变的步伐逐渐加快,中国面临的安全挑战前所未有,需要国家安全学理论研究有所作为,作出应有的历史贡献。为此,中国学界需要做“深”国家安全学基础理论研究,拓展国家安全学理论研究的厚度和深度;做“专”领域国家安全学理论研究,强化国家安全学理论研究的广度;做“强”工具国家安全学理论研究,凸显国家安全学理论研究的实效性。

中国认同意识,即中华民族共同体意识,是中华民族形成的思想基础和精神纽带,在古代经历了6个发展阶段,即夏商周时期随着“中国”观念的出现,中国认同观念也开始产生,至春秋战国时期中国认同观念正式形成;秦汉时期经过多民族中国的建设,汉民族在华夏民族发展的基础上正式形成,中国认同观念获得了初步发展;魏晋南北朝时期,中国认同观念呈现出多样化发展态势;隋唐时期,在汉人中国观念回归的基础上,又以礼别华夷、华夷互化、华夷一家等多民族中国观念为纽带将隋唐与周边少数民族连接在一起,中国认同观念获得了进一步升华;辽宋夏金时期,各个民族及其政权均自我认同为“中国”、中国正统和中国历史发展谱系中一员的思想观念表现出高度的一致性和一体性;元朝实现大统一,多民族凝聚为中国的观念有了进一步发展,中华民族的形成已现端倪,后经明朝和北元均认为自己是中国历史发展谱系一员观念的发展,到了清朝乾隆时期,随着国家统一事业的完成,具有中国认同意识的各个民族齐聚到清朝中国这一共同旗帜之下,统一的多民族的中国民族即中华民族正式形成。

法治是提升民族事务治理体系和治理能力现代化水平的重要保障,“铸牢中华民族共同体意识的法治保障”需要司法基础理论加以回应。在中国司法语境下,“中华民族共同体”的法理内涵包括:司法为民的感知共同体、中华司法文化的文化共同体、边疆司法的命运共同体和司法治理的参与共同体。公权主体的一体性逻辑、司法权的中央事权属性、司法场域的主体间性关系、中华司法文化的和谐取向、国族一体的宪制规范构成了司法铸牢中华民族共同体意识的组织结构基础、公众认知基础、主体关系基础、和谐语境基础和规范结构基础。基于“中华民族共同体”的法理内涵及司法对铸牢中华民族共同体意识保障作用的内在机理,建构铸牢中华民族共同体意识的基层司法保障路径。
