Comparison Research on the Chinese Traditional Art Style and Western Country＇s Abstract Art Style： A Theoretical Review

In this paper, we conduct literature review and research on the Chinese traditional art style and western country＇ s abstract art style. Modernism art forms from concrete to abstract is a process of constant evolution, it is to find new pictures to present, to get rid of the bondage of traditional art concept to go on process. Any forward art could not avoid broke away from the traditional thinking, in the process of the old ideas and new concepts of conflict is inevitable. Therefore, corresponding research is urgent needed. The comparison result proves the intuition that both traditional Chinese culture and western culture based art design have their own spark points.

Research on the Developmental Venation of Calligraphy Seal Cutting Art Form from the Perspectives of Chinese Traditional Culture and Art Form

In this paper, we conduct research on the developmental venation of the calligraphy seal cutting art form from the perspectives of Chinese traditional culture and art form. The Igbo Art and Cultural Heritage： Changing Time, Changing Form

The Igbo artists of all generations, from the pre-colonial to the post-colonial period, and from her traditional to contemporary art practices, have demonstrated the ability to express the material, as well as spiritual world of the lgbo cultural society. The fear of the unknown, uncertainties of the forest, river, mountain, seas, oceans, lightening, thunder, and the changing weather, brings her artists in constant contact with their spirituality. This paper presents an insight into the Igbo cultural society with reference to her indigenous and contemporary art practices. It identifies the trajectories of her art and cultural developments toward contemporary and global acceptance, and in addition attempts to identify her visual creative frontiers.

The Income Security System in Japanese Traditional Performing Arts： A Strategy for Utilizing the Nation＇s Traditional Arts Resources

The objective of this paper is to examine an effective strategy for maintaining and utilizing the traditional arts resources of Japan. The authors explore two pillars of the strategy. One is to improve the quality of Japanese traditional performing arts by securing incomes for artists. The other is to utilize the traditional arts as a medium to expand Japanese cultural influence in foreign countries and to improve Japan＇s branding as a nation. First, the authors focus on the income security system practiced in traditional Japanese music and describe the discrepancy between short- and long-run optimality. The authors prove that the reputation of this art form affects its popularity and that it is optimal for the Iemoto （the head of the music school） to restrict the number of pupils in onstage performances in order to maintain stage quality. Second, the authors provide evidence that effective methods for a country to expand its cultural influence across the world differ among nations. The authors conduct willingness-to-pay （WTP） experiments and find that while German audiences largely prefer traditional Japanese music, those in the USA are slightly partial to its mixed fusion form. Therefore, the effective ways to expand Japanese cultural influence in foreign countries differ from one country to another.

Reverberating Chinese Traditional Folk Art in a Contemporary Context

Envisioned as a practice-based research, this paper explored Chinese traditional folk arts and crafts with a focus on traditional decorative patterns, vivid colors, and symbolic motifs that enliven Foshan style paper-cuttings, New Year wood block prints, paper kites, festival lanterns, and Shiwan pottery figures from the areas of Foshan and Shiwan, near Guangzhou, China. The goal of this research was to create a series of original paintings by investigating Chinese traditional folk arts and handcrafts and integrating them physically or ichnographically on Ho＇s new body of paintings. Chinese traditional motifs including Chinese characters and Buddhist iconographies had already been important motifs in the contemporary Western paintings of Kong Ho for the past 10 years. This paper examined not only the artistic, cultural, and historical values but also the impacts of Chinese traditional folk arts and era~ on Ho＇s painting through a personal research travel and studies of a certain amount of Chinese paper-cuttings, folk prints, pottery, and handcrafts found in the famous Foshan Folk Art Studio and Foshan City Shiwan Ceramics Factory in Foshan, China. Furthermore, this paper investigated the symbolic meanings founded in Ho＇s spiritual paintings with strong Chinese heritage and how he reinterpreted those artifacts in a contemporary context.

Reconstructing Qatari Heritage： Simulacra and Simulation

Rather, it has become a principle to reflect the social and economic existence of the Qataricommunity along with other global communities. The mass use of heritage and the implementation of Westernmuseum culture, however, might be viewed by some as the importation of a culture rather than the preservation ofan existing one. To minimise such potential problem, the government opted to ignore any distinctions betweenrepresenting heritage, interpreting it, or imposing new ideas and thinking around it. Instead, it has focused onintroducing a heritage based on linking images of foreign elements that characterise Qatari heritage with new socialand economic experiences.

湖南省非物质文化遗产传统美术类保护研究二十年:回顾与展望

旨在梳理湖南省非物质文化遗产传统美术保护近20年的相关研究并展望其未来研究内容及发展方向。通过中国知网(CNKI)检索,使用VOSviewer、CiteSpace软件,从发文量、关键词和研究内容等几个方面梳理和总结了近20年来的湖南省非遗传统美术类保护研究的论文,并根据研究文献数量占比较大的原因着重分析了非遗湘绣、滩头年画和花瑶挑花3个项目的研究现状;同时从非遗传统美术类项目保护角度进行了文献分析,进而认为未来可以从实践出发来探索湖南非遗传统美术类项目的“技艺”,从需要出发去探索标准化生产的可能性和可实施性以及品牌建设,从发展出发进行城市设计师服务乡村非遗传统美术的可行性3个方面进一步展开探索。

基于AIGC的传统文化创新转化路径研究

AIGC是当下人工智能应用的热点领域和未来趋势,传统文化在AI技术浪潮影响下,如何保持传承和创新转化是我们亟待解决的问题。以ChatGPT的面世为标志,AIGC时代正式来临,2023年有一大批现象级AI应用工具诞生。在系统梳理AIGC发展历程的基础上,分析了人工智能时代传统文化的处境,对AIGC基本原理进行了解释,提出基于AIGC技术的传统文化创新转化路径,并以剪纸艺术为案例,探索了传统剪纸艺术在AI技术加持下的创新转化与利用方法,对基于AIGC技术的传统文化创新转化路径进行研究。

中国式现代化艺术管理的历史逻辑、理论逻辑和实践逻辑

数字化传承语境下的传统村落漫游艺术——建筑漫游课程再设计

建筑漫游课程再设计尝试构建面向西部传统村落文化传承的建筑漫游艺术,通过选取西部传统村落场景课题进行传统村落数字漫游艺术产品创新设计,在课程中有针对性地引入文化分析、叙事逻辑设定、交互设计思维,并结合元宇宙概念对技术路线进行拓展创新,以期取得良好的文化空间表达和沉浸式体验效果,完成青年群体的参与式民族文化认同建构。通过特定场景下的课程设计,有望提升建筑漫游课程实践的社会文化传播效应,同时有助于培养学生解决复杂问题的能力。
