Life Review the Impact of Combined Watson Care Theory Intervention on Psychological Status and Quality of Life in Patients with Terminal Lung Cancer

Objective: To analyze the impact of combined Watson care theory intervention on the psychological state and quality of life in patients with terminal lung cancer. Methods: 72 patients with terminal lung cancer admitted from March 2021 to January 2024 were selected, which were divided into research group (life review combined with Watson care theory intervention) and control group (conventional intervention), with 36 cases each. Compare the nursing effect between the two groups. Results: The anxiety self-rating scale (SAS) and depression self-rating scale (SDS) scores were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the quality of life score was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Life review combined with Watson care theory intervention can improve the psychological state and improve the quality of life of patients with terminal lung cancer.

Timing theory integrated nursing combined behavior change integrated theory of nursing on primiparous influence

BACKGROUND The comprehension and utilization of timing theory and behavior change can offer a more extensive and individualized provision of support and treatment alternatives for primipara.This has the potential to enhance the psychological well-being and overall quality of life for primipara,while also furnishing healthcare providers with efficacious interventions to tackle the psychological and physiological obstacles encountered during the stages of pregnancy and postpartum.AIM To explore the effect of timing theory combined with behavior change on selfefficacy,negative emotions and quality of life in patients with primipara.METHODS A total of 80 primipara cases were selected and admitted to our hospital between August 2020 and May 2022.These cases were divided into two groups,namely the observation group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The nursing interventions differed between the two groups,with the control group receiving routine nursing and the observation group receiving integrated nursing based on the timing theory and behavior change.The study aimed to compare the pre-and post-nursing scores of Chinese Perceived Stress Scale(CPSS),Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale(EPDS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),breast milk knowledge,self-efficacy,and SF-36 quality of life in both groups.RESULTS After nursing,the CPSS,EPDS,and SAS scores of the two groups was significantly lower than that before nursing,and the CPSS,EPDS,and SAS scores of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P=0.002,P=0.011,and P=0.001 respectively).After nursing,the breastfeeding knowledge mastery,selfefficacy,and SF-36 quality of life scores was significantly higher than that before nursing,and the breastfeeding knowledge mastery(P=0.013),self-efficacy(P=0.008),and SF-36 quality of life(P=0.011)scores of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.CONCLUSION The integration of timing theory and behavior change integrated theory has been found to be an effective approach in alleviating negative mood and stress experienced by primipara individuals,while also enhancing their selfefficacy and overall quality of life.This study focuses on the key concepts of timing theory,behavior change,primipara individuals,negative mood,and quality of life.

Depression by the Theory of Breathing and Finding Meaning of Life

This study aimed to examine the relationship of finding meaning to life with the level of depression and investigates the effect of using breathing theory in treating or reducing depression in a sample of individuals suffering from depression in the Kuwait Mental Health Center. In order to achieve these objectives, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach through an applied questionnaire on the study sample which consist of (380) individuals and the quasi-experimental approach by dividing the study sample individuals into two groups;control group consisted of (190) individuals and experimental group consist of (190) individuals. Also, the researcher developed meaning of life scale and breathing strategy, also used beck depression inventory scale. The study found a set of results, there is a negative relationship between finding meaning in life and depression and there are statistically significant differences between the members of the two groups due to the use of the breathing strategy, in favor of the experimental group. In the light of this result, the study came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are holding training and educational courses for depressed patients on ways and methods of finding meaning in life, as these courses have the benefit in reducing the level of depression among patients.

An Insight Into the Promise and Problems of Combining Life History and Grounded Theory Research

This paper describes the research carried out in partial fulfilment of the degree of doctor of education. The study was qualitative in nature with a phenomenological interpretive paradigm dominating the philosophical approach. The research methods adopted combined life story and grounded theory. As far as the author has been able to determine there are very few, if any studies which have applied this approach specifically to this area of research which investigated the influence life history has on attitude to lifelong learning. Twenty five respondents were interviewed in face-to-face informal interviews. The main aim was to elicit the respondent＇s subjective interpretation of the interaction between school, family, work, and learning within their lives. The researcher was then able to identify when they occurred and what or who made them particularly meaningful. This paper describes how initial decisions were made regarding the substantive area for the research. Sampling technique and method for collecting the data is discussed and a worked example is given of how the data was analysed. It is intended that this paper will give an insight into the challenge of combining these two much debated methods of research. The empirical data lead to some interesting findings which educators and policy makers will find helpful in order to strengthen the school, college, and workplace interface.

Human Care Theory and Influences on the Life Quality Index of Cancer Patients in Household Life

To investigatetheinfluences of the application of human care theory on the life quality and happiness of cancer patients after they receiveda community nursing care which was implemented by the human care theory. The quality life and the happiness index of 93 patients with cancer living in the six communities in Jillin were assessed, the assessment of the life quality was based on a life quality scale (SF-36) and that of the happiness index was based on Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness (MUNSH). The community nurses cared for these patients by applying the theory of human care and the life quality and the happiness index of the patients were observed after the care. The results showed that there were significant differences in the score of 5 dimensions in the eight dimensions of the life quality between before the care and after the care (<0.05), and there were significant differences in the average sores of the positive emotion, positive experience, negative emotion, negative experience and level of happiness included in the happiness index between before the care and after the care (<0.05), suggesting that the theory of human care can be used for the care of patients with cancer and the application of the theory can effectively improve the life quality and the happiness index of the patients, strengthen their problem-solving abilities and let them have a positive attitude towards their lives.

Study on Life Prediction Model of Concrete Dam Based on Dry Zoning and Damage Theory

Concrete dam construction, reservoir impoundment and operation are a complicated and long-term process. During the course of this process dam suffers lots of factors including changing temperature, humidity, deformation, loads and restraints around dam. With time going by, damage to darn concrete happens. As a result, the strength, stiffness and resistance of concrete will decrease accompanying with damage accumulation and dam structure performance behavior and lifetime will be shorten or even destructed. At present, most of researches focus on concrete material itself and seldom consider effects of water content for concrete structures. That is apparently inconsistent with the actual situation. In engineering practice, it is urgently needed to assess existing dam structure damage state considering dry zoning in concrete. Through taking C30 dam concrete as standard specimen, alternate freezing and thawing tests are undertaken and changing law of time-dependent concrete damage state resulting in alternate wetting and drying has been studied in this paper. And then calculation formulas of time-dependent concrete damage evolution process considering alternate wetting and drying under condition of freeze-thaw cycle tests are established. Combining with four parameters Hsieh-Ting-Chen （ H -T-C ） model, some relevant factors or parameters are obtained through indoor testing and life prediction model of concrete dam based on dry zoning and damage theory is put forward which provides technical supports for dam safety evaluation and management of sustainable development.

Motoyosi Sugita—A “Widely Unknown” Japanese Thermodynamicist Who Explored the 4th Law of Thermodynamics for Creation of the Theory of Life

The purpose of this paper is to introduce to you, the Western people, nowadays a “widely unknown” Japanese thermodynamicist by the name of Motoyosi Sugita and his study on the thermodynamics of transient phenomena and his theory of life. This is because although he was one of the top theoretical physicists in Japan before, during and after WWII and after WWII he promoted the establishment of the biophysical society of Japan as one of the founding members, he himself and his studies themselves have seemed to be totally forgotten nowadays in spite that his study was absolutely important for the study of life. Therefore, in this paper I would like to present what kind of person he was and what he studied in physics as a review on the physics work of Motoyosi Sugita for the first time. I will follow his past studies to introduce his ideas in theoretical physics as well as in biophysics as follows: He proposed the bright ideas such as the quasi-static change in the broad sense, the virtual heat, and the field of chemical potential etc. in order to establish his own theory of thermodynamics of transient phenomena, as the generalization of the Onsager-Prigogine’s theory of the irreversible processes. By the concept of the field of chemical potential that acquired the nonlinear transport, he was seemingly successful to exceed and go beyond the scope of Onsager and Prigogine. Once he established his thermodynamics, he explored the existence of the 4th law of thermodynamics for the foundation of theory of life. He applied it to broad categories of transient phenomena including life and life being such as the theory of metabolism. He regarded the 4th law of thermodynamics as the maximum principle in transient phenomena. He tried to prove it all life long. Since I have recently found that his maximum principle can be included in more general maximum principle, which was known as the Pontryagin’s maximum principle in the theory of optimal control, I would like to explain such theories produced by Motoyosi Sugita as detailed as possible. And also I have put short history of Motoyosi Sugita’s personal life in order for you to know him well. I hope that this article helps you to know this wonderful man and understand what he did in the past, which was totally forgotten in the world and even in Japan.

Study on the Value of the Theory of Protection Motivation in the Nursing of Spinal Fracture to the Quality of Life

Objective:To analyze the effect of protection motivation theory on the quality of life of patients with spinal fracture.Methods:From August 2019 to September 2020,72 patients with spinal fracture were selected and randomly divided into two groups.The routine nursing group was the routine nursing group,and the combined nursing with the theory of protective motivation was the dynamic nursing group.Results:The hospitalization time,detumescence time,healing time and muscle strength recovery time of group A were shorter than those of group B(P<0.05).The VAS score and Barthel index score of the dynamic group were better than those of the conventional group(P<0.05);The score of SF-36 in the group A was higher than that in the group B(P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of protection motivation theory in the nursing of patients with spinal fracture can shorten the healing time of fracture,promote the recovery of muscle strength,relieve the pain of fracture,and then improve the ability of daily life and quality of life of patients.

基于目标达成理论的健康教育对急性心肌梗死病人心血管危险因素自我管理能力及心功能的影响

目的:探讨基于目标达成理论的健康教育对急性心肌梗死(AMI)病人心血管危险因素自我管理能力、心功能的影响。方法:便利抽取2022年5月—2023年5月江阴市中医院心内科收治的AMI病人104例作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为两组,各52例。对照组行常规健康指导,观察组实施基于目标达成理论的健康教育,比较两组病人干预后自我管理能力、心功能及生活质量,记录两组不良事件发生率。结果:干预后观察组自我管理能力总分、西雅图心绞痛量表5个维度(心绞痛稳定性、心绞痛发作情况、疗效满意度、躯体受限程度、疾病认知程度)评分均高于对照组,观察组左心室射血分数(LVEF)、6 min步行试验(6MWT)结果优于对照组,观察组不良心血管事件发生率(1.92%)低于对照组(15.38%),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:基于目标达成理论的健康教育有助于提高AMI病人自我管理能力,改善病人心功能,降低不良心脏事件发生率,从而提高病人的生活质量。

陶行知生活教育视域下高职院校劳动教育实施路径

劳动教育既是陶行知生活教育思想的重要内容,也是促进知识与生活紧密联系的桥梁。目前高职院校劳动教育存在师生劳动认知存在偏差、劳动课程体系不完善、劳动教育评价形式化、劳动教育保障不完善等问题。立足陶行知生活教育思想,高职院校在进行劳动教育过程中需要践行“劳动的生活”,打造以“做”为中心的劳动课程体系,构建系统性劳动教育评价体系,多方协同助力劳动教育。

航空发动机高温探针高低周复合疲劳寿命预测方法

在发动机试车过程中高温探针的疲劳断裂十分危险,建立高温探针疲劳寿命预测方法对于试车安全性十分重要。首先,基于气—热—固耦合方法建立高温探针仿真模型,依据实际工况计算探针在热冲击和振动环境下的载荷;然后,结合S-N曲线和三区间法分别计算探针的低周疲劳寿命和高周疲劳寿命;最后,基于累积损伤理论获得探针的高低周复合疲劳寿命。研究结果表明:探针在热冲击载荷和振动载荷下的最大应力分别为96.2 MPa和33.3 MPa;探针低周疲劳寿命和高周疲劳寿命分别为6.63×10^(6)和2.19×10^(8)次循环;在实际工况下,探针的高低周复合疲劳寿命为4826个周循环,即496个小时,该结果与探针的额定使用寿命基本一致。

基于经筋理论指导下运用火针治疗寒湿型腰椎间盘突出症的临床观察

【目的】观察基于经筋理论指导下运用火针疗法治疗寒湿型腰椎间盘突出症的临床疗效。【方法】将2023年3月至2023年12月广东省第二中医院收治的70例寒湿型腰椎间盘突出症患者按随机数字表法随机分为观察组和对照组,每组各35例。对照组给予常规针刺治疗,观察组在对照组治疗的基础上,采用经筋理论指导下的火针治疗,治疗1周为1个疗程,共治疗3个疗程。治疗3个疗程后,评价2组临床疗效,观察2组患者治疗前后疼痛视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分的变化情况,以及日本骨科协会(JOA)评分的情况。比较2组患者治疗前后中医证候积分的变化情况。【结果】(1)研究过程中,观察组失访3例,对照组失访5例。最终观察组32例、对照组30例纳入疗效统计。(2)观察组总有效率为93.75%(30/32),对照组为86.67%(26/30)。观察组疗效优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。(3)治疗后,2组患者的VAS、JOA评分明显改善(P<0.05),且观察组在改善VAS、JOA评分方面明显优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。(4)治疗后,2组患者的中医证候评分明显改善(P<0.05),且观察组在改善中医证候评分方面明显优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。【结论】基于经筋理论指导下运用火针治疗寒湿型腰椎间盘突出症,能明显降低患者的疼痛程度,改善患者的腰椎功能,减轻患者的相关症状,从而提高患者的生活质量,临床疗效显著。
