MY UNDERSTANDINGS ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT OF LUMBAGO ACCORDING TO SYNDROME-DIFFERENTIATION

In the present paper, the author introduces his individual experience and understandings about acupuncture treatment of lumbago from ① pathogenic causes and pathogenesis, ② syndrome differentiation and analysis, ③ therapeutic methods, ④ treatment according to differentiation of syndromes, and ⑤ key points about treatment of lumbago. The author stresses that in the treatment of lumbago, never forget reinforcing the kidney and treat both the primary and secondary aspects of the disease at the same time.

Prevention and Treatment of “Epidemic Toxin, Pathogenic Dampness, and Lung Deficiency” after COVID-19 Recovery Based on the Theory of “Preventive Treatment of Diseases” in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Due to the sequelae and recurrence in patients with COVID-19 after recovery.This article,based on lire theory of“preventive treatment of diseases”in traditional Chinese medicine,winch believes that the three pathogenic factors of epidemic toxin,dampness,and lung deficiency are the fundamental causes of the recurrence of COVID-19.The treatment strategies are to remove pathogenic factors,strengthen qi,nourish yin,clear heat,moisten dryness,and at the same time,reinforce the lung,spleen and kidney,and soothe the liver.Through a variety of treatments such as oral administration,external treatment,and skin absorption,it provides a new idea and method for the management of the recurrence of COVID-19.

Clinical Analysis of Intraperitoneal Lymphangioma

Background： lntraperitoneal lymphangioma （IL） used to be thought of as a benign lymphatic malformation with a low rate of preoperative diagnosis. This retrospective study aimed to explore the connection between the cysts and clinical manifestation and imaging characteristics, and to study diagnostic confusion, therapeutic principles and potential recurrent reasons, to further enhance the comprehension of this rare disease. Methods： Here, we retrospectively reviewed 21 patients diagnosed with IL. Age, sex, complaints, physical findings, and imaging features of each patient were documented. The therapies, postoperative complications and treatments were discussed. Results： Symptomatology included eight patients （38%） with intermittent dull pain in the abdomen, and three patients （14%） complained of abdominal persistent pain. The physical examination revealed an abdominal mass in 16 patients （76%）, and eight （38%） were reported no discomfort, IL was correctly established preoperatively in 19 patients （90%）. Patients were treated using laparotomy, except one who was treated with laparoscopy. Two recurrences were noted during follow-up. Conclusions： IL should be suspected in any patient with a mobile abdominal mass and surgery is required immediately after discovery of the tumor.

New Analysis of Banxia Xiexin Decoction and Its Similar Prescriptions in Treatise on Febrile Diseases to Explore the Universality of the Treatment and Compatibility Principle

Objective:The objective of this study is to explore the treatment and compatibility principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Materials and Methods:Syndrome differentiation is used to identify the etiology,nature,and location of a disease and the relationship between the healthy Qi and pathogenic factors by analyzing and synthesizing the four diagnostics data.The theory of treatment is to determine the principle and methods of treatment according to the results of syndrome differentiation and implement them as a specific prescription.This paper bears witness to the principle universality by analysis of the articles of the Banxia Xiexin Decoction,and it equally has analogical prescriptions in Treatise on Febrile Diseases.Results:The treatment and compatibility principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine are the same,that is,rectifying the deviation on three dimensions,strengthening the healthy Qi,and eliminating pathogenic factors in the light of its general trend.Conclusion:The treatment and compatibility principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine are the same,The treatment and compatibility principles provide a new thinking for clinical treatment.
