Wetlands are ecosystems with many f unctions.But the general public and government lack a comprehen-sive understanding of the importance of wetland benefits,thus making bl indly exploitation,wetland resour ces decreas...Wetlands are ecosystems with many f unctions.But the general public and government lack a comprehen-sive understanding of the importance of wetland benefits,thus making bl indly exploitation,wetland resour ces decreasing and losing biodiversity.So wetlands in China,as in most countries,have suffered heavily from the pressure o f develop-ment and have confronted with the thr eats of loss.The paper takes Sanjian g Plain marshes,lakes in the middle r eaches of the Changjiang(Yangtze)River,coastal wetlands and mangroves as cases to study wetland loss in China,and puts forward main existing reasons of wetland loss,such as blindly reclamati on and exploitation of wetland resou rces,over-exploitation of bio-resource s in wetland,etc.More recently,there has been a growing recognition of t he benefits of wetlands and a wide range of legal and regulatory initiatives have been undertaken which are designed to impro ve wetland management and conservation.On the basis of the above analysis,the paper brings forward some suggestions on wetland conservation.展开更多
Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a very complex disease that causes brain failure,then eventually,dementia ensues.It is a global health problem.99%of clinical trials have failed to limit the progression of this disease.The ...Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a very complex disease that causes brain failure,then eventually,dementia ensues.It is a global health problem.99%of clinical trials have failed to limit the progression of this disease.The risks and barriers to detecting AD are huge as pathological events begin decades before appearing clinical symptoms.Therapies for AD are likely to be more helpful if the diagnosis is determined early before the final stage of neurological dysfunction.In this regard,the need becomes more urgent for biomarker-based detection.A key issue in understanding AD is the need to solve complex and high-dimensional datasets and heterogeneous biomarkers,such as genetics,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),cerebrospinal fluid(CSF),and cognitive scores.Establishing an interpretable reasoning system and performing interoperability that achieves in terms of a semantic model is potentially very useful.Thus,our aim in this work is to propose an interpretable approach to detect AD based on Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis ontology(ADDO)and the expression of semantic web rule language(SWRL).This work implements an ontology-based application that exploits three different machine learning models.These models are random forest(RF),JRip,and J48,which have been used along with the voting ensemble.ADNI dataset was used for this study.The proposed classifier’s result with the voting ensemble achieves a higher accuracy of 94.1%and precision of 94.3%.Our approach provides effective inference rules.Besides,it contributes to a real,accurate,and interpretable classifier model based on various AD biomarkers for inferring whether the subject is a normal cognitive(NC),significant memory concern(SMC),early mild cognitive impairment(EMCI),late mild cognitive impairment(LMCI),or AD.展开更多

It forms and integrates physical space, cyberspace,and social space. The data friction problem is the key issue of the semantic Internet from theory to practice. In order to solve the problem of information interoperation and data friction,it is necessary to deal with the heterogeneity, dynamicity, and uncertainty of data in the semantic Internet of Things. For this reason, this paper constructs a semantic object networking context aware system based on dynamic Bayesian network. The overall architecture of context awareness system based on semantic Internet of Things is proposed. The hierarchical structure of the framework and the functions implemented by each layer are introduced in detail. The contextual awareness system based on semantic Internet of Things is introduced into the overall design and implementation. In order to improve it, a novel flatness predictive model via T-S cloud reasoning network implemented by digital signal processor(DSP) is proposed. First, the combination of genetic algorithm(GA) and simulated annealing algorithm(SAA) is put forward, called GA-SA algorithm, which can make full use of the global search ability of GA and local search ability of SA. Later, based on T-S cloud reasoning neural network, flatness predictive model is designed in DSP. And it is applied to 900 HC reversible cold rolling mill. Experimental results demonstrate that the flatness predictive model via T-S cloud reasoning network can run on the hardware DSP TMS320 F2812 with high accuracy and robustness by using GA-SA algorithm to optimize the model parameter.展开更多

GPS (Global Positioning System) has been widely used in car navigation systems. Most car navigation systems estimate the car position from GPS and DR (dead reckoning). Most car navigation systems estimate the car position from GPS and DR (dead reckoning). However, the unknown GPS noise characteristic and the unbounded DR accumulation of errors over time make the position information with undesirable position errors. The map matching can improve the position accuracy and availability of the vehicular position system. In this paper, general principle of map matching is investigated according to segmentation and feature extraction, and a map matching algorithm based on D-S (Dempster-Shafer) evidence reasoning for GPS integrated navigation system is proposed, which can find the exact road on which a car moves. For the experiments, a car navigation system is developed with some sensors and the field test demonstrates the effectiveness and applicability of the algorithm for the car location and navigation.展开更多
